My three most important values are compassion, efficiency, and tact. The way I found these out was by thinking about situations I've encountered where I had a disagreement with other people due to the difference in our approaches. You might be able to determine this by thinking about what category of things you dislike, and why. Perhaps you can determine if it's because that category of things doesn't match your personal values. As I look back, some of my favorite people (heroes) have been efficient people. And yes, there are some instances where if I observe an activity being done inefficiently, it bugs me!
I like the first question but what if two values are conflicting. how do you decide which to choose over the other? for example, i value freedom which would imply that i would look for a job that gives me that kind of freedom, but, i also value security, which implies that it would be better for me to look for a steady job with an organization.
