Hey Ray. - Ray here also. Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. I have learned a lot from them. Just got a new truck and trailer and am starting my full time adventure, and I am making so many upgrades because of videos like yours and others that have been kind enough to share with the RV community. - Once I get my rig fully decked out I will start compiling video footage and releasing videos so I can share as well. It seems like a lot of fun.

The gray velcro was a roll of break away cable ties that are a few inches long per tie. I use them for the cables at my desk.

I never thought of taking my temperature gun with me. I will now. I like the alert feature on the radio. My weather radio doesn't have that, but it does have a flashlight and rechargeable batteries with an adaptor, plus it has a crank in case the batteries get low. Love the tips.

Glad you reminded me of my weather alert radio, I had forgotten I even had one and we have had tornadoes in the region just lately. Great idea on humming birds! I gott go to the feed store now lol good tips.

hey Ray, those grey and black Velcro strips are made for cables etc. there's a punch out at the wide end for the slender end to pull thru . we use them for everything, reduces unnecessary stress of untangling.

Thanks for all the good information. I have one of those infrared temperature sensors. Mainly use it for tires, but it's great to see some other uses for it. I really like that C Crane Radio. They make some quality products. I went to Amazon and put one on my 'wish list". Thanks again for all you share with us!

Great video as usual ! Instead of aluminum foil on the Bar B try grill mats, they work even better than foil, reusable, cleans up very easily and they even leave grill marks on the food. Enjoy!

We're pulling the trigger on a 12 year plan December 2016 to sell it all, buy a Class A and hit the road and we've found your channel invaluable! I trip over dust bunnies so your pool noodle on the corners of slides will save my head and we have a pool at the house so we don't have to buy anything!! THANKS!

I got it at Home Depot in Canada about 4 years ago, for some reason its way more expensive in Canada versus the US. Currently 66.98 CAD versus 29.97 USD. Even with the current exchange rate of 1.33, that's still quite the difference. Works well though. Cheers, Ray

Make sure you test that NOAA Weather Radio alerting function. Testing is done every Wednesday between 11 and 1 local time by one of the local stations that can be received. A list of approved radios can be found here. www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/info/nwrrcvr.html#residential

Yes, they do with the same frequencies we use here. Just make sure to find the station that comes in the best as you travel so the alerts will trigger the radio.

How to I know what the temp of the tires should be? Also, I love your hummingbird feeder - do you remember where you got it. I love your videos!!

GVJeeper Thanks we got the feeder at a garden store, but they are on Amazon too. As far as tire temps go the best thing to do is keep checking them until you get a feel for the average temps, it will vary with sun exposure, speed and the type of road surface, but if it suddenly spikes to a very high temp outside of the usual, you'll know something is up and needs investigation. I would guess the normal range would be from 80 - 150 degrees.

Why not use a tire pressure monitoring system so you have a much more accurate idea if you are suddenly losing air in a tire?

Another use for the infrared temp gauge, if you drink instant coffee as we do or tea, and are dry camping so you heat the water on the stove, you can get the water to the perfect temperature every time by checking the temp with the gauge.
