The storage upgrade I really think should not be a reason in most cases, It's a digital console, you just delete games you are not playing and download what you want to play for the next week or so, I have mine for some time now, and never have passed of 75% of storage utilization, and I do not own any external storage or expansion card right now, because I keep only the games I will be playing for the next few weeks. You just need to manage what you're going to play, and if you like only massive games, you would buy the expansion storage anyway.
Nah it is a downside. It's actually the only legit downside to the console. Most of the other stuff doesn't seem to fit. Downloading and erasing games negated the entire reason for buying extra storage. You do that so you don't have to redownload things. And yes you can store stuff elsewhere, but you still have to move things over which usually takes just as long. And with NvME cost like $200+ or whatever, at that point you should have just got the X. I'm NOT saying it's a deal breaking at all or it even subtracts from the legit value of the S. But it definitely is a negative that most people over look until they get to the point of needing new storage. I have a S simply because I have a Pc and couldn't get an X anywhere. If I could I definitely would have got the X looking in hindsight. So yes you can just manage games but not everyone only plays 3 or 4 games at a time. Especially when you take into account what your friends might want to play with you and the rising space requirements for newer games. Basically any game past 2022 will not be able to be played off anything outside of internal storage or an NvME. Which all of this further proves this is definitively a console for more casual gaming or people who own other systems. Which isn't a bad thing at all. Just how it is
Unfortunately for me, who lives in an area without fiber or any high speed internet, deleting and downloading games just doesn’t work. It often takes me 1-2 days to download many mainstream titles.
@@pHixiq agree with most of what you said here, mainly that the storage is a downside. However, you don't need to spend 200+ on a nvme. I bought a 1tb nvme and an enclosure for about 120$ Canadian last year, and you can get the same for about 95$ Canadian this year. Takes like 5 minutes to move large games like call of duty back or forth.
I bought the Series S well over a year ago now due to lack of availability for the Series X and have been pleasantly surprised with it. In fact the X has been available here and there and yet I held off on “upgrading” to the X and continue to game primarily with my S. Yeah the internal SSD is lacking but there’s inexpensive options for that. I’d say keep your expectations low and you may possibly pleasantly surprised too
I got the series s last year for $250 at best buy and I've been pretty happy with it too. I've always been a Playstation guy but I said what the heck let's give this a shot. I have a PS4 pro on a 4ktv and graphically I don't see a difference but the load times are nice and games seem to run a Little smoother on the S. Although I'm not using game pass at the moment, that was a great way to try a bunch of new games for a great deal. I am considering getting the X now that it's more available but really want to be content now and wait for the mid Gen upgrade consoles when they come out cause I know myself and will want it.
@@ghtraining1 hey I have a question Should I buy the xbox series S as a teenager? I already have the money but I will wait untill summer to buy a console and I wanted to buy the series s
@@Denis-uo2ue The S is awesome and I think you'd be pretty happy with it. It's easy to move around or take on the go with you too. Get a wd external hard drive to save games on.
@@PrimeKobeBryant They are but I have no itch to get one now. All the sports and racing games I play are on both. Just Gran Turismo I'm missing but Forza motorsport is coming out soon. Gamepass has been a huge $ saver for the games my kids and I play. Ànd was able to download some 360 games for cheap I use to play on the ps3. Quick resume is a sweet feature the S has too that the ps5 doesn't have. I'm good
You people are missing the point of the series s. Its an entry level next gen system. I love mine. If you want a pc then get one . Nobody cares what you play on because it doesn't matter. If you have fun its all that matters.
I have a powerful PC and I still got the Xbox Series S. I take it with me to friends' houses, it's convenient when I want to relax on the couch, and it's so much easier to play online games with my friends.
I always say if you want the best high level gaming buying a high end PC. Consoles will never be compared to PCs. Consoles are excellent for the performance for price.
Although I play on PC only, I think it's a good thing that the Series S exists. The price difference between the S and X is significant. The S varient allows people on a budget to play and have fun. I think it's impressive what it packs in such a small box and it's good stuff for people gaming on a 1080p screen. I think Microsoft catering to that budget segment was a good thing for a ton of people
hey man I’m planning to buy a console and i have never had one before so its my first time buying one so should i go for the ps4 or xbox s cause these are the ones that are in my budget and I’m a teenager so l cant really afford the x or the ps5 . So can u give me some suggestions pls
I bought the series s as my first ever xbox... I have a ps5. But yeah I got the best of both worlds. I did consider an X as I miss the 4k but it isn't worth an upgrade just for that. Am honestly just so happy to have played all the halo games and forza 🤘🏻
My son is 6 yrs old and wants an xbox. Wondering would this be descent for him? He's into basketball and football? How many games would this possibly hold?
@@daddykatt26able well take it from me as I’m 16 and I bought one not too long ago and I love it completely, and for the games really just depends on how large the game files are which it will tell you in the store
The storage is one of the biggest issues i have with the Series S as by the time you upgrade that with the 512gb M.2 which is ridiculously priced at £118.59 you are only £81.42 off the price of the Series X which is a much better console. Edit: it seems they've dropped the price of the Series S to £199.99 which you can't complain about at that price, that's insane value for money. At this lower price you're now £130.43 off the price of the Series X once you upgrade the storage with a 512gb M.2.
Are you referring to the proprietary SSD expansion card when you say m.2? Because 512gb m.2 is pretty cheap, 40-60$ Canadian depending if you want SATA 3 or nvme. Personally I went with 1tb nvme for 75$. Then you need to add an enclosure for another 20$ and there you have pretty cheap and fast storage for the series S.
Everyone I talked to who has a ps5 or xbox x said they eventually bought an expansion card or harddrive anyways. You will face the same storage issue at some point regardless.
How many different games do you play that you actually need 1TB? I've had 500 forever on my PC and just delete games and download new ones when I wanna play them? And my internet is pretty bad lol
I just bought an S today. It's the first xbox I've bought since the OG. I bought it mostly to play old 360 / xbox one games via gamepass and digital download. So I think saving the $250 was the right move. Here's hoping I don't regret it. ( I also have a PS5 and switch. )
So ima buy one cause I have to wait 4-6 months on limited money while I’m injured n can’t work. But had this saved up anyways for a console. You think it’s a good hold over console until I get the 500-600$ for ps5?
@Peopleare Stupid I think as long as you aren't trying to play the newest AAA games in 4K with HDR you'll be very happy. You'll be even more happy if you can find $9.99 a month in your budget for Game Pass it will give you access to 380 full games to kill time with while you wait to buy a PS5.
Boy thats exactly my situation and I was thinking between series S and X. Are you happy with that? Cuz I have a ps5 and a switch and I only want to play xbox exclusives and use its backward compatibility. I think saving 200$ should be considered in my situation cuz I already have the ps5 as my primary console of this gen.
At the moment I'm still saving money for the Series S, and next week I can finally buy it. I don't want to buy Series X even if I can afford it, because in my case I have a gaming laptop that is quite powerful for these days and a very good setup for it, so I don't really need a very sophisticated console . It seems to me that Series S is really a powerhouse for its price and the only minus is its storage, but if you have a good PC or a good gaming laptop, just like in my case, this console will be more than perfect for you. And let's not forget the fact that Series S can upscale to 4K if you have a good TV. At least for me it can easily upscale to 4K because of the TV. And for those who ask why I need a console when I have a gaming setup, it's simply a personal preference, I love to play in front of a big TV with pretty good graphics at a good frame rate. So here it's strictly up to you, if you only use the console, think about buying a Series X or a PS5, if you also have a gaming PC/Laptop, you can do the same thing as me, it's much better and you save more money that you can use for accessories for the console such as (charging station, new controller, thumbstick grips, etc.) or new games or a gamepass. Edit: I didn’t know I made this comment so long 😂 anyways , love your console even it’s an X/S or PS
The only thing that puts me off the series S is that it's digital only but I've been PC gaming for the past 4 years and that's digital only, in a hypocrite 🤣. Btw the series S is only £199 in the UK, my PS4 pro trade in value basically covers that cost 😱
Series S(replacement for my one s) is my only gaming device and I absolutely love it. No gamepass either. I mostly play Gta online, Call of duty and fifa. Casual gamers also exists, my friend.
Bingo. This is the comment I was looking for. Im coming from a much older generation of gaming and want to get into the new gen without all of the crazy bells and whistles. This console is perfect for that.
@Chip Jones I will say having cod mw2 and nba 2k took up basically all my internal storage I do have 2 external storage though so storage isn't a problem at all
the worst thing about having no disc drive is the fact that you are tied to a single source to buy your games. often games in the xb-store are overpriced af and you always have to bite the sour apple while normal stores sell the same game for 50% less (in extreme cases).
I would also add that it also matters which two check marks you have to check. As for me I never ever owned a console, i only used to game on PC, but since I became a dad 3 years ago I got a full time job fresh out of university and lost my gaming time. Hence my already then outdated pc is even more outdated now and it simply is not able to play newer games. But back to the point. I am planning on buying a console now, that my daughter can go to sleep by herself now, and she loves sleeping over at her grandparents' house from time to time, on holydays, some weekends etc. So now I have a few hours a week especially on weekend afternoons. I do own a 50 inch 4k hdr tv, and I would like to game from time to time. Now for those few hours a week/month I believe that the series S could be the perfect fit for me. I am a petrolhead and I love fiddling around with cars on forza, so that would probably be my main game. I do not feel any urge to play on a switch as Nintendo games simply do not do it for me. The PS5 is literally never available in my country and it costs way too much for the three exclusives that I am interested in it is not an option. About 300usd for a series s, about 550 for a series x and around 700 for a ps5 is just insane for the money that we make around here. CONCLUSION: I believe that i would probably be fine with the small storage since I would only have like 2 games installed on the console anyway. I do not own any physical games, and I only plan on subscrubing to game pass. HENCE I believe that spending over 500usd for the series X would be kinda over the top for a user like me, even though I own a relatively nice TV. With little time to game, and no connection to any platform it might be the right choice. Thanks for reading this long mess of a comment.
I love it. You for sure would love my other videos anout the Series S. This was just one I felt I needed to make because I wanted to help others on the fence. I have so many about how GREAT the system is, which I still 100% believe but now have a video on ho it might not be the best fit for people. Stoked that you are excited on it. You're gonna love it, man!
I'll be honest, I bought my Series S back in February when it seemed like the chip shortage was going to drag on forever and used it in tandem with my OG 500GB Xbox One (that I bought in early 2016) for disc-based games. Then a Series X made itself available at retail in June and I grabbed it. Now my Xbox One is fully retired and I have moved my Series S into the spare room where I have it hooked up to my 27" 1080p PC monitor. I only usually subscribe to Game Pass for two or three months a year but have 40+ games purchased digitally. The Series S is perfect for what I want it for. In general, the Series S is definitely NOT "trash" as the elitists like to say. It's a great performing console.
Loved the video however you could have even more questions to ask yourself. I mean moneys no problem for myself considering I don't always have alot of time to game but the offers on the s was too good to turn down. £189 in the UK for somone who wants better performance than last gen is great. It's a shame that games dont really take advantage of the series x.
Games don't take advantage of the Series S either if you've got a Series S or X but my point is for the S look up resident Evil village gold edition demo. It has A ray tracing mode for the Series S and the best graphics I've seen... let me know what you think
@@gabrieljohnson1854 tbf honest I bought the s but havent even used it yet. I have been trying to get it exchanged for a week due to it being smash up. It will certainly do me for what I need.
The media thing is an non-issue nowadays, sure a few years back it was an argument, but it doesn't matter if you stream a streaming service from a series s, series x or ps5 doesn't make a difference.
I have had the series S for almost 2 years now, and I couldn’t be happier. My only worry that the console won’t be able to keep up with games in terms of performance by the end of this consoles generation, in 4 or 6 years the series s might not be playable. But by then I would have upgraded, either to series X or what ever iteration of series X in the next generation of consoles.
Well now the series s is on sale for $250 and also the seagate 2Tb at bestbuy is $79 so you’re looking at around $360 after tax and as somebody who NEVER HAD xbox anything i think imma go ahead and get that. I have all 4k uled tvs so my tv will make up for the graphics and color dept and having a switch and ps4 pro, ima be real graphics don’t really matter to me like that i always only cared about the game being a good game or a trash game
I already thought of all these reasons because they mostly apply to me (especially the lack of disk drive), but the video was still helpful. I'm a casual gamer now and don't have a ton of money or time to spend, so the S seemed like the best way to go as the only system I'd own. I considered snagging one all month! Yet hearing someone else confirm my misgivings about it changed my mind. Especially the end - if you're gonna constantly watch videos about, think about it and second guess it, just buy the better console!
I want to get the xbox seris s, for youtube, netflix ( I have a very old tv) And to play light games like fall guys and minecraft, I dont need a lot of space for big games, I dont play that much. So I feel like the series s would be for me
So far I’m absolutely loving mine, currently going back and playing a lot of the 360 games I missed like Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 and Lost Odyssey among many more. Definitely a purchase I do not regret.
@@phoenixking9457 Yes to my knowledge both of those can be played offline. I mostly play offline games myself, my only exception is Evil Dead: The Game, which I HIGHLY recommend!
It is literally all about graphics and it's cheaper and most people buy this console with a library of games from either 360 or Xbox 1 you are a hatter it's a little tank
Bonus tip is ok, but I haven't bought a game on disc since the 360 days. I don't see the point in owning a disc for something you have to download anyway. There are tons of sales if you pay attention to them.
I love the series s it’s a very understated console in a small form factor it’s powerful and runs games not as good as the x but just as good for a cheaper price point
I had an Xbox one s and the only game that I have in a disc is mw 2019 all my other games are digital and to be honest I really love my series S I have the memory expansion and all my games are digital and I have like 48 and to be honest I can't complain
Reason 8 ... If you own a PC then just get game pass for PC and save the money you would have spent on series s or use the money to pay for 2 years of game pass on PC.
Timestamps 2:20 - Only Console 2:43 - No Storage Upgrades 3:58 - Physical Games Library 4:54 - TV Monitor With HDMI 2.1 5:45 - Primary Media Player 7:16 - Series X or Series X?
I have both s and x. S is for my gf and for taking out of the house. I subscribe on and off to game pass. I personally don't care for many games on game pass. I literally spend all my time playing motocross games
I would buy this as like a secondary console to add to my collection of multiple consoles just for games that I wouldn’t want filling up my ps5 storage or specifically Xbox exclusive games
Coming from a potato pc 🤣🤣 1080p 60 FPS in new games is just awesome for 300$ ,but in the holiday one can be found for 250ish dollar. I don't think I will need anything else.
There may be another reason not to buy a series S and that reason is because apparently devs are pushing to not make or optimize games for it because they also consider it a potato and it greatly hinders development for the series X versions of the game , read a few articles like that and breathed a sigh of relief I bought a series X , another thing Look at game reviews on the Xbox store , majority of people will say there series X runs majority of games like dog water. I see non stop complaining and regrets about buying it just because it was all that was available at the time .. I found my series X at the source with 10 in stock and 15 ps5s during scalping season you just gotta do some proper sourcing
And I totally understand people buying them for convenience and to pack in/pack out of friends houses easily and that's all super awesome and great for what it is but if it's also gonna be your main home console just go X you'll have a better time and it gives you incentive to upgrade your tv at some point and the thing is more packable then an Xbox 360
The only reason this guy is true is if you are a disc collector, which I never understood and like because i don’t like how the disc cases are taking up space and it looks weird if you have a lot of them, basically it looks like you are a nolifer:)) In every other aspect that console is just amazing, for example I play warzone 2.0 in 120 fps stable and it feels great, feels better a 2000k gaming pc to be honest
I had the fat xbox one witha faulty original controller, thought of buying a new controller and a headset. Probably a 100 total, then Target had a deal for $250 plus a $50 gift card. So basically i got the series s for 100 bucks. Its great compared to xbox one fat
The ONLY real downside to the S is the storage. The NvME cost too much which basically puts you in the range of "I should have just got the X anyway". 300 for the S(more like 340+ depending on your tax) and another $200 or whatever for NvME is too much. That's the only real downside to the console. Storage expansion sucks And for people who don't know, *you can not play X|S games off of any storage that's not NVmE* . So yes, you could get a TB storage for cheaper. But none of the X|S games can be played off of them. Which basically means you'll be managing your internal storage as if you never even got expanded storage. And also means if you opt to buy a NvME, you should have went for the X anyway. Does not take away from the value at all. But definitely a negative either way
I bought mine solely to play GTA online Enhanced (and any other games which don’t have cross play), as I’ve already got a powerful gaming PC. So for the $240 I spent. I’m quite happy. I also have game pass and want to use it as a steaming box as well, because of its favorable form factor
All great points... I am enjoying the S. It has been a great way to get into next Gen for a good price and get into X box gaming for the first time. I would of easily gotten the PS5 digital if it were easier to get one so Microsoft made a good move with this option. Now that the series X is more available I am considering it like you said in the last couple of points BUT the mid Gen versions will be coming out likely in a couple years and I really want to be patient for that cause I know I'll want it and the S can be my secondary console.
hey man I’m planning to buy a console and i have never had one before so its my first time buying one so should i go for the ps4 or xbox s cause these are the ones that are in my budget and I’m a teenager so l cant really afford the x or the ps5 . So can u give me some suggestions pls
@Navaneeth Krishnan Get the series S. I got mine for $250 during the holidays. I saw the ps4s at target are still selling for 300. You might as well get the series s. After playing the X and ps5 ar friends houses, I'm perfectly content now with the series S. The Series S is damn good
i only bought s for warzone.i see the ai upscaling they do in fc5 which i could still enjoy at 60 fps,but id rather play the demanding games and see they without lower res etc.but it reads my movies on hdd with kodi is a plus. it is worth 250$ for other things it does aside game🤷🏼
I love my new series S. I have a ps5 and a top notch gaming pc featuring a 6900xt and Ryzen 5800x3d. Mind you gamepass sold me on the series S, because my PC is like a heater and well during summer it gets uncomfortable.
Exactly why I got mine so quiet doesn’t get atomic heat coming out of it just a little warm slightly hot and no noise and I got an x screen love it pc is great tho just convince is nice as you get older
7 was me lol. I ended up getting the x only a couple months after just because I wasn't satisfied. Love the s, still keep it in the bedroom, but I should've just waited for the x
I have no choice... I'm getting one for Christmas and I'm trying to convince myself that it's good. Will i be satisfied? Going from switch to Xbox? I probably will
The series s is an amazing secondary council for someone who travels or has A1080P TV or A 1440P monitor and has no plans on getting a mid tier to top tier HDMI 2.1 TV. If you have not purchased a new xbox of PS5 yet I recommend getting a $300 1440P monitor or A HDMI 2.1 TV 1st in my opinion it is pointless
Most people who have a Series S most likely have a XB1 so that solves the lack of a disk drive problem. On top of that XB1 is backwards compatible with older disk games. Series S is worth it.
This video pretty much confirms that the Series S is the right option for me. 1) It's not my only console. I also have an Xbox One and a Switch. 2) The included storage is pretty pathetic in this day and age, but I don't do enough gaming for it to be a major issue. I'd probably have Forza Horizon 5 installed in perpetuity while cycling through a few indie games and one more occasional AAA title. 3) I moved away from physical games a long time ago. The only physical Xbox One game I still have is the Deluxe Edition of Final Fantasy XV. I have a pretty big library of digital games, however, and the Series S would be perfect for those. 4) I haven't made the upgrade to 4K and don't plan to do so anytime soon. The Series S is all I need for my 1080p television. 5) I've also moved away from DVD and Blu-ray for the most part. I still have some older stuff on DVD and Blu-ray, but almost all of my movie and series purchases in the last few years have been digital. I have a huge digital library of movies and series on Microsoft Movies & TV (which is obviously perfectly suited for streaming via the Series S). 6) The resolution issue doesn't bother me since I game on a 1080p television. A frame rate of 30 fps is fine for me too. Graphical fidelity has taken a bit of a hit in certain titles, but I think that's going to change once new development tools like Unreal Engine 5 start to be utilized more regularly.

Good for you, yet, you described maybe 5-10% of console gamers at best, probably even fewer than that.
This is exactly me. I’m all digital. Watch media from my Apple TV. I don’t actually like discs as they get obsolete. I’m still playing my Xbox One in 2023. Leaning towards the Series S
@ most people ik got the S, maybe a bit more than 5 to 10%

@@hoticeparty There are several reasons to get S over X, but that was not my point. What I meant was that the OP had to list 6 reasons to find an argument for S over X and what I said was that there is very few people who use these exact reasons to justify S over X :) Of course, with lower price and wider availability, it only makes sense that more people will get S, but, to be fair, it doesn't really have anything to do with what I meant with my comment :)
@Matúš Kapusta what do u mean? Alot of console gamers typically going for the cheaper option. That's why they bought a console and not pc. Because we wanna play COD for cheap!
The storage issue with the SSD isn't really much of a problem you can get a 2TB game drive for the Xbox Series S/X for £88/$108/€102 which if you have the Series S or getting the Series S it's cheaper than getting an Xbox Series X so if you only care about storage then you should probably get the Xbox Series S and the 2TB gamedrive
The issue with that is it puts you in the price territory of an X. As far as I'm aware(I just got expanded storage and was looking around for a bit), those TB expanded storages can not run X|S games off of them. As in, you will basically be managing your games as if you did not buy extra storage if you are playing X|S games. Since they still can only be played off the internal. Series S is going to cost you 300-360 with tax depending on where you stay. You add an extra $100+(NvME cost $200) then you straight up are paying the same amount as you would for an X. I have an expanded storage that's SSD. Only a year old in terms of when it was released. *I still can not run x|s games off of it as the X|S games require NvME. It says faster storage when debatably the storage I have should be very much fast enough So yes you can buy extra storage that isn't NVME and store stuff. But basically any game 2022 and on won't be able to run off it. I also do not think this takes away from the value of the S at all. It's a great console. But the storage issue is the ONLY real negative. Especially with the pricing of everything
@@pHixiq . The X has 850gb usable space, the ps5 has 667gb. Yeah 364 with the S is small but it's not like the X and ps5 came with 2tb of storage. You will very likely have to expand storage regardless what you choose. So I think you just have to add that $100-$200 to each console.
The only problem with the Series S is the storage size. They should’ve been 1TB out the gate at the same price point & the Series X should’ve been 2TB for $599
I just got one and it's coming next week. Upgraded from the original Xbox One model finally. Most of my games are digital anyway. Only physical games I get are my favorites like Halo so I'll be good w this
X box S is the best console ever made for casual player , family player because its backward compatible , gaming did not start last year , there are plenty good games , for those who want to play best new AAA tittles at 4K , have the best experience but alone in a dark room , then PS5 or X box X , but if you want those games that can be played in 2 , split screen , those are older , that way you can have family fun. As well as have a decent processor for Streaming , i have a Philips TV , its good 65inch TV , but Philips does not have CPU like Samsung or Sony , but when you add a good CPU to it , like in X box it becomes better TV . Games are about fun and mental excursive , after all there are people playing Chess professionally , so for a game to be good and look good you do not need PS5 or X . It all depends who you are , not what you want , but who you are . Far as im concerned even PS4 plus has more then capable hardware .But i do not like its prices , 70$ for a game , i have it i know . While i installed X box app on my PC god the same game for 20% of the price . I dont know why is this so but no one mentions it , Games are a lot more expensive on PS5.And when compared to PS4 pro in most games its not that big of a difference .
PC only user here (so far), no consoles, no physical games, no BluRay media, only 1080p monitors and TVs, and the storage problem looks like it's going to be solved in the new version of the S. On the other hand, I don't have time to play often, so even the Game Pass might not always make sense to me, and I don't think all the games I want to play are available on GP... When I think about it, maybe the best option for me, at least for now, is to upgrade my current GTX1060 with a used graphics card and keep going on it...
I think it's a total waste if you don't want gold...but if you plan on playing online...you need to subscribe in one way or another. It makes available tons of titles free. Old games, new games. Storage is not a problem. Tinker with a game, or play it through to completion, then delete it. You can still have 4 or 5 high storage consuming games simultaneously. Bethesda titles are largely on the house...starfield will likely be available at a significant discount. Nothing can beat PC gaming. But if you want to try games on the fly for free, swap them out...I mean the console just sits there and does the work. Your physical disk is essentially worthless (from a trade or sell point of view) very quickly. I think it's a cool little console
I love my Series S. For a casual gamer who wants to play everything with a low cost barrier to entry, and literally doesnt care about shit like framerate or PS vs XBOX, it's a dream machine. The 512GB isn't limiting at all unless you are a weirdo who only plays AAA and for some reason needs to play a dozen games at a time. I have a few AAA's and a couple dozen indies/smaller games installed at any given time and don't feel restricted at all. That being said, for more hardcore gamer types, I can see why they would bitch.
Xbox accounts get hacked so frequently we are still trying to gain access to our hacked account. Meanwhile Xbox refuses to cancel the subscription and I'm left paying the monthly charges on it. Fraud much
I just bought a series s today to play Oblivion over the holidays. I mainly play ps5 and switch for botw, pc’s giving me headache with updating this and that. For $300 cad it seems like a great way to play games that aren’t on ps.
im planning to sell my xbox series S because I find so many good deal on online and in my local shops for used xbox 360/one/seriesX games every time I pass by a good deal for a game I feel stupid buying series S , im saving up Series X now
If you just want to game and have enjoyable experience. Pick up series s! If you want the best experience save up and get a good gaming PC. Simple. There's no reason to get xsx / ps5.
Another two faced RU-vidr playing both sides to get views. Gamepass has nothing to do with not getting this. Most people prefer digital also. You can also transfer games off a storage drive. Digital games also allow you to game share. A lot of false info here.
Most of these are so minimal , we all have internet these days and the average price for gamepass is like 11$ a month. I think graphicly things are fairly overrated , if you have a nice TV that has 4K pixel density it obviously is gonna look smudged since it's just a badly stretched upscaled image. As advertised this thing is a 1440P machine that means monitors or TV's up to 1440P are supported for the best graphical quality resolution and fidelity wise. for a 200$ potato box it sure sits on the the average 750$ PC performance off a current year build.
I bought loads of games from X Box Live. They drop in Price Dramatically from £100 to £15 or so after a year. You can see game shots and Reviews. Some games like Dying Light 2 have terrible reviews but I really like it !!! I have an X Box 1 S with a Disk Drive, 2 Terrabyte, and a Seagate 8 Terrabyte Ext Hard Drive !!! I have 275 games stored in the Ext Hd Drive !!! The 2 Tb Internal Drive is empty and I still have 1 Terrabyte free on the Seagate !!! I want to retire the X Box 1 S because it's 8 years old and has worked perfectly for tens of thousands of Hours !!! I intend to buy an X Box Series X !!! I do have lots of Game Disks so I do not want the Series S !!!
I have a Switch and a PS5 that I use as my media player. I have 150+ digital Xbox games and 40+ physical games. I'm planning on selling the physical games and my One to get the 1TB Series S and repurchase a few of the games I want like Halo (I'm planning on going with Game Pass Core except when there's something I really want to play on Ultimate).
Look it turns out that I got between 1/7 and 0/7 because I don't have a new TV nor a monitor but I am the type of guy that play games for the gameplay or the story and I have a 1 to HDD even if it's not an SSD at least I can store more games and about the game just one word Turkish Xbox game pass ultimate it 6 bucks a month unlike the 16 bucks in the American store so I don't have any problems
The series s is my very first Xbox and only one thing I said I don't like about it is the internal storage 300 gigs final fantasy games are like 100 gigs of pieces right along with call of duty but then again 12 gigs outside hard drive fixes that😅😅😅
