Why would you enter into an arrangement where there is a 50% failure rate?!? Moreover, people tend to change over time; the person you married on your wedding day may or may not be that same person for one reason or another. Life is stressful; raising children is stressful; juggling work/home life is stressful. As time goes on, the meat grinder known as life can and really does take a toll on people.
People should band marriages let's call it what it is you make me feel good I make you feel good if you don't I leave type of generation we living in definitely not worth it. Tried it and I regret it for the rest of my life never am I ever getting into a relationship cause the end result is why people choose to be single for the rest of there life
i.e. 7 reasons for a happier life. The benefits aren't even near to justifying the risks and stressors. An 'institution' that is not meant for all to commit to and delve into... I know, blah blah blah
You have to look at the pros too. Longer life is one. Gen Y and Z is gonna have a lot of selfish wandering men. Everyone should watch the films: Dreams of a Life and Into the Wild. Being alone sucks.
I have read that the longer life thing only applies to men who marry, not women. Could be wrong. :) I know that most divorces are brought about by women and that women who divorce or become widowed are less likely than their male counterparts to remarry. Interesting.
