Congrats to Steve for taking out top qualifier and the win in the Modified Compact class at the Sydney Jamboree. The Holden VL street car is powered by a TBRE Performance Ford Barra engine tuned by Forced Performance & Tuning and was extremely consistent all weakened walking away with multiple 7.6-second passes.

It was awesome to be on the crew and watching Steve wheel this thing Consistently all weekend. Not a spanner was put on it except for an oil change. Thanks Fullboost for showcasing the hard work that Steve and the boys at Forced Performance, TBRE and many others put into this car.

What do you mean? What parts of the VL were made by Ford? It was a car that was made entirely by Holden and fitted with a Nissan RB engine. Ford had nothing to do with it.

Sorry mate , i know you put alot of effort with the conversion, and it sounds great . However a Holden should have a redgum 202 straight six in it , because thats Holdens finest engineering. Not a Nissan or any other power plants.

Maybe Holden and Ford should have joined instead of closing down? Use Holden’s better body and interior and use fords better 6 engine and transmission. Probably not but could have been interesting to see how things would have been if it happened lol

Cheapest option is an inflatable air shock. You pump it up more one side to offset driver's weight and engine torque. There's also 5 link ladders for the big spend.
