For most people, making an extra $1,000 a month would change their financial life. In today's world there are so many different side hustles where you can realistically make an extra $1,000/month. In this video, I share 7 different side hustles that can help you make an extra $1,000 a month.
1. Start A RU-vid Channel
Building a RU-vid channel has the potential to increase your income in exponential levels. I am personally making thousands of dollars a month with my RU-vid channel and the secret to creating a profitable channel is to (1) create videos that appeal to a large audience and (2) create videos that keep people watching. Doing this is much easier said than done, but if you can figure out how to do those two things, you can make thousands of dollars each month.
2. Video Editing/Thumbnail Design
If you do not want to put yourself out to the world b y being a RU-vidr, you can work behind the scenes and make money through video editing or thumbnail services. The general rates for a video edit is $100 and for a thumbnail is $25-$50. To find jobs doing it, simply reach out to various RU-vidr and offer your services.
3. Start A Reselling Store
Another side hustle that involve an entrepenuerial spirit is starting an online reselling store on Amazon, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, or other eCommerce platforms. To do this, you go to various thrift stores and find products that have the potential for reselling and list them online at a higher price. This does involve a decent amount of work and skill by having an eye for what people want, listing them on various websites, and storing, packaging, and shipping the products. However, if you can dedicate a few days a week to this, you can make an extra $1,000 a month.
4. Be An English Teacher On VIP Kids
A side hustle that doesn't involve a lot of building is simply teaching English online to people in other countries. A great website to teach s called VIPKid.com. On this website, you teach English to kids in China and can make between $14-$22 an hour. The qualifications for this job are that you have to have a bachelors degree and be from the US or Canada.
5. Care.com
A great side hustle, especially for woman, is to find babysitting jobs on the website care.com. Care.com connects babysitters to people trying to find a babysitter. You can make anywhere between $17-$22 an hour babysitting on this website; however, in addition you can find other jobs on care.com like senior assistance, pet sitting, and house cleaning to make extra money.
6. Help Old People Out
If you are under the age of 25, a great side hustle is to help old people with various tasks like yard work or technology help. Old people often need help and if you can talk to older people in your neighborhood or at church, you can find jobs to make extra money.
7. Get A Part Time Job
Finally, the easiest, most realistic way to make an extra $1,000 a month is simply getting a part time job. The reality of many of these side hustles is that they involves a lot of building before you make a decent amount of money. When you simply get a part time job, you have a set schedule, guaranteed income, and don't have to build anything.
