I like the idea of the frozen meals. I think it is outstanding and very easy to prep. unfortunately I noticed that the cook times are different on some of the bags that I was able to read but you did not list any cook times for the meals. Thanks and keep up these great ideas I like it

Very impressed with this video Will be doing this. Half the time it’s to much trouble to prepare veg & meat & poultry, this way is great. Giving you a BIG thumbs up 👍
New subbie here🙋! For how many people are these meal prep for (as in each bag)? I have just bought a tiny slow cooker so was hoping to learn using it with your recipes 😋 🤗
You've earned another immediate and enthusiastic subscriber as well! I was very impressed with tiur freezer meals! They all looked amazingly easy, affordable, and kid and teen friendly! I only clicked this video out of curiosity. Then you started with split pea soup! Liked, subscribed and hit the bell immediately! Can't wait to try em all out!!
Can I just add that if you are preparing chicken in the UK before you cook it in the slow cooker you MUST defrost it first. I am afraid our safety systems are not as good as yours. Love your detailed recipes.
I would like to see the finished product of these freezer meals before actually trying then out. We're mexican and we're used to only eating Mexican type meals so these recipe foods are all new to me.
All this looks and sounds wonderful. Can a person do this exactly as you describe , freeze and when ready to eat, sues vide the bag???? There are no such great meals to be made ahead of time cooking them in sues vide.
I use meat from the freezer, and it has always been fine. The issue is that some people cannot figure out when the food is cooked through. I usually cook on low heat. If you are still worried about using frozen meat, just plan ahead and take it out of the freezer the night before you cook it. If you are out of the house all day, cooking the food from frozen is beneficial because most meals cook before a person is home from work.
I use frozen quite often. You have to be careful not to crack the insert as it heats, as well as be certain the meat has cooked through. But being cooked all day (8 hours) is plenty of time!
Hi Lacey, thanks for making this video. So much good stuff there. I'm wondering if you ever had a problem with freezing your raw potatoes. Do they ever turn black? If not, how do you do it that prevents this from happening. I've tried it twice and the insides of the potatoes have turned black both times. It's very unappealing. Thanks!
Thsnkyou so much for doing all this, you have made it so much easier for me to do really nice meals, I’ve just joined slimming world and I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of working out meals for mysrkf
In the meatloaf/potato recipe. Have you done this? How are the potatoes I thought freezing potatoes would make their texture change and very unappealing?
So I bagged the first three recipes and will cook them up next week while we're at camp all week. I'll post an update to let you all know what we thought of the split pea, minestrone, and taco soup bags👩🍳
So we ate the Italian soup one so far and I added a package of cooked hot Italian sausage. The soup tasted very fresh. I loved it and dh asked for pasta added next time and one kid went back for several helpings. There was 5 of us eating this and we still had leftovers. If I do it again, I'll split it into two freezer meals or half the recipe.
Oh my goodness Lacey🙌🏻. I literally CANNOT wait to make ALL of these (except the one with the curry) I tried curry for the first time this week and it did not agree with me at all🤮. My husband is going to see what a SUPERSTAR I am. Lol. He already knows but it’s nice to remind him. I’m also going to share this with or daughter in college. She’ll LOVE being able to put these in the crockpot in the morning and come home after a long and stressful day, and have a healthy and delicious meal without ordering out like so many of her friends do. You’re a ROCK STAR in my book. I follow your blog and I follow you on Instagram (my name is _momswag_ on instagram) of you have a Snapchat, I’ll follow that too!!! Thank you 😊
A lot of people feel that way about curry. But curry is like noodles, or pickles, or sandwiches. There are about a thousand different kinds, so please don't necessarily count it out because you tried it once and didn't care for it. There are about as many curries as there are cooks that make them. And prepackaged ones are, generally speaking, not as good as homemade. Also, there are a lot of variety in the curry spice blends you find at the market in the spice aisle. I myself don't care for sweet pickles, but garlicky dill are awesome. Doesn't mean I don't like pickles, it just means I don't like some pickles that other people feel are fantastic.
Yes... i just got a pressure cooker. Really like to try out these recipes... appreciate if can share a video on this using a pressure cooker and would luv to the finished product. Tqvm for the awesome ideas
Is anyone monitoring whether harmful stuff leaches from plastic baggies and containers when microwaved. ALSO, skipping browning is a HUGE MISTAKE!!! Brown chick in a broiler pan under the oven broiler.
I am concerned that you are freezing fresh veggies. Veggies should be blanched before freezing. I prepare a double recipe, completly cook, and freeze half of the food. Everything is cooked, so just a reheat.
I also found it weird. I thought there would be recipes attached. However, the ingredients she uses are strange to use in some of the recipes. Once a person has cooked for a bit of time, he or she should be able to judge measurements. Use a Crock Pot does not change the measurements. Just throw food in the pot and you will be good!
None of these sound good to me. Way too complicated using too many ingredients and too calorie conscious. I'm also not a fan of narrated cooking videos.
