Yoryie, don't get me wrong when I pulled him as my first 7 star I was pretty hype, and then when I duped him out of my 3rd 7 star I was pretty happy. I now have a sig 120 overseer and it hurts my soul a little bit.
This is how you make a a champion showcase video. You have covered everything and the best part is that you mentioned which relic to use and which whatever you call them to apply ❤😊
He's one of my favorite champs also as a 7*. I just haven't had the luck to dupe him let alone having him at sig 200 lol. That's the one setback of Overseer. He really does need to be max sig for him to hit as hard as he can. It'll be along time before I can get him to sig 200 so I'm very jealous 😂😂
It really is a night and day difference between an unduped and duped Overseer. I thought it would have taken a bit longer to see a 7 star max Overseer that soon, must be a beast on both offense and defense. Too bad Overseer doesn't have any good stat focus as a 7 star. All his damage is bursts of physical damage, so crits don't really matter. But damn, that BWCV melted pretty quickly nonetheless.
@@S2205_ yeah, I agree there with the stat focus. I like running Crit Rate just because his attack rating gets pretty high, critting more helps a lil bit
I 1st learned about how amazing Overseer is from watching your channel. Patiently awaiting the saga 1-2 gem to get him to r2. Then, it's the contemplation of piggy or him to r3🎉
I love this! I’m considering taking my Overseer to Sig 100 using Saga stones, but I also have a max sig 6 star at R4 that I never took up 😅 what would you recommend in this situation?
@@brobatmeng757 6-Stars are dead, go for the 7-Star….. Kidding about 6-Stars being dead, but they’re being phased out. If you like Overseer, I suggest starting to invest in the future proof version.
As someone who never cared for overseer I’m excited to watch. I have a duped 7* (only sig 20 lol) and have been trying to figure out my next rank ups. Maybe he’ll be on the list to go to rank 2 after this 🤔
@@mihaig99 no, you won’t be able to. He’ll be able to 2-Shot a few fights though probably. That’s only if you’re maximizing each fight and using every possible Necropolis Charge
Yep, that's why i took my sig 40 overseer to r2 over titania and photon. He is just so good. He is getting all the sig stones i can get my hands on. Very much wanting to take mine to r3 as well, he is such a good dual threat
I’m surprisingly far from the first. Tons of whales had Sig 200s before 7/4 sales, I targeted sigs for my Sig 100 Overseer, but I’ve been seeing quite a few in BGs now in the Gc
@@papubhai4906 numerous counters already exist, a lot of Onslaught’s kit relies on you being able to avoid his specials. Once you can, you can take him with nearly anyone.
@@emiliotorrescastillo4134 i mean yeah, I think everyone understands that as well. Overseer is generally very meta dependent and isn’t going to nuke every fight in the game. In metas he doesn’t benefit from, he’ll do most fights in 45s-60s, which is serviceable, especially as a 2-way because he can be a defensive stall if they don’t have a counter. In metas where there is nullify present, he can nuke fights in 35s consistently though.
@@DonutSensei Yes, Spider-Ham is better overall for Battlegrounds, not even trying to argue that, but some of the stuff you’re saying just makes no sense right now lmao. Overseer literally gets an autoblock that’s a guaranteed parry after every single special you use… you can argue that’s better than Spam’s evade because using Overseer’s auto-block gets you a free opening… Overseer is the best at punishing Mystic Buff Control btw, he can have 35s fights in the right meta… and again, lemme see Spider-Ham solo those Necropolis fights… Different champs are useful for different things, no need to shit on my fav because you don’t like them/don’t understand what they can do. 🤷♂️ If you’re specifically pointing out that the 2 champs are very different in what they can do based off Utility, why even try to compare them? It makes 0 sense lol
Did you miss the 7r3 Bishop that was 49,000+ Points as well? I can’t choose who my opponents place, a lot of people were placing 6-Stars. People fail to see that with Overseer in BGs, his reach after ramping is pretty good, you essentially stun lock the opponent once you’re ramped, meaning the difference between fighting a 6r5 or a 7r3 will be pretty minimal in scores. With smart defense placements, knowing your champs’ reach will essentially allow you to secure wins.
Did you miss the Hulkling and Redskull fight? Both 50-51k scores. And this is in a meta that doesn’t ramp him. In the nullify meta I saw a lot of people averaging a 50k score. A ramp up champion to average a 49K score in multiple different matchups is really good. I don’t know what more you could ask for. Unless you’re Hulkling, Juggs, or CGR averaging over a 50K score is very hard.
It’s also worth noting that pretty much everyone knows that he’s not the fastest BGs option. The biggest selling point for me is that he’s consistent. I know I can take most opponents with him and put up a respectable score. If I have a smart defensive placement or a trap, I can literally guarantee a round win most of the time with him. And this isn’t even factoring in that he’s a decent stall defender in his own right. Furthermore, I mainly uploaded this video to show just how crazy the retaliation damage can get, which is shown in the Necropolis BWCV fight… The Sig opens up so much doors for him, allows him to take even more fights.
@@BMcG fair enough, he is a tank and that was impressive. Being BG focused and having r3s like Juggs, Mantis, Titania, and Chavez, I just expected to see those type of results.
