I cannot thank you enough :□ Edit: She conpletely ghosted me and stopped talking to without reason so I broke up with her as I began to talk to a girl at my school then we began dating however they became trans so I was gay I suppose and they permanently scarred me and I was being completely mentally and emotionally tornented and they made me more suicidal which I already was at the time they just made it way worse which led to me almost killing myself multiple times so I broke up with them and began to work on myself until halloween when someone I know of called me hot so we started talking and finally began dating not too long ago this one is different minus the fact just last night (written at 2/29/24) they (they are non binary) wanted to break up and just for a reason I dont know which led to an emotional breakdown and this was right after I had a mental breakdown crying and whining until I fell asleep howevet we were able to talk it out and are still dating. that's not true! i used to think like this until i found someone who said some of these things to me, he actually only likes me as a friend but that's also wonderful, i'm sure there are people who do love you platonically and romantically and you're not paying enough attention because these people are the ones you don't expect them to like you. also, there are many other ways to show that xy likes you, ofc these are the most obvious ones, but not suspecting these signs does not mean there's no one who likes you. if you don't believe me, then i'll tell you i love youu

Communication exists to convey your thoughts in the most concise manner possible. If you aren't doing that, you aren't communicating, you are doing one of two things: you write poetry, or you are messing around. There is no third option.
@@dominic.h.3363 First of all, no one asked or even mentioned language or how many you know. Second, some people sadly aren't as confident and are able to put their feelings into words. Yes, words are communicate with but some people can't. For instance, for myself I get nervous around my crushes and have problems putting feelings into words or even dropping such obvious hints in conversation. Not everyone is the same and can be so bold with their feelings, though I agree beating around the bush is stupid, we really can't help it.

Not sure if this would count but hearing someone say "I trust you". Just recently, an online friend and I have had a deep conversation and he said that he trusts me after I said that I trust him. We both are very good friends and I feel that I can be open with him whenever we chat. We both have asked each other for opinions on some things but I think that's a common thing between friends. Although, I haven't said directly that I feel myself around him, I have told him that I know he understands me and how I feel better after venting to him at times. I think he enjoys the time we chat together as I enjoy the time as well. I'm happy to have such an amazing friend like him. 😄
I have deep feelings for him. I don't think I have ever felt this way for a guy before. I'm not sure how he feels about me. So I made the slight mistake of telling my younger sister who I’m crushing on. Now my parents know I have a crush but thankfully they do not know who. He has done all of these except number seven. He’s always asking me questions about my home town or how I am and stuff like that. I don’t know if it’s just him being naturally friendly or actually showing loving affection. He’s also always telling me about his family and his past, childhood, and favorite meals and such. He’s told me all of his darkest secrets and I’m the only one who’s knows. He asked for my Snapchat, email, and gaming username on a game we play recently. We haven’t emailed much because I’ve moved countries 😞. But he really wanted to keep in touch so I was really happy when he said that. He also invited me to sit with him at the zoo, my favorite buffet, and just in general like at school. He always says to me “let’s sit with eachother” and my heart always skips a beat 🙃. We have a lot of things in common and he’s basically my dream man. He loves tennis and basketball and I’ve always wanted to be in a relationship with someone who does sports. He loves big dogs and dreams of getting lots just like me. He also told me he wants children when he’s older. He hasn’t told anyone else which I find quite nice but weirdly honest as well. Ever since he said that I’ve been thinking of how fun it could be. My crush has done about half of these things, but I think that's just in a friendly manner. I don't think she sees me as anything more than a friend, since she points out people she finds hot around me, and she doesn't know that I am also bi. I've been debating whether or not to tell her how I feel, out of fear of losing the friendship we have. Now school is over so we aren't seeing eachother every day, and I already miss her, but I don't want to tell her anything and make it weird. Go and tell her how you feel before you regret it later. Kinda had the same situation where I hesitated to tell her about my feelings, but I decided to be honest with her because I couldn’t keep it anymore and I was also overthinking. She rejected me in the end, because she only saw me as a friend and I respected that. But hey at least I told her that I had feelings for her… i’d rather be honest to the person I like than hide my feelings that’s going to hunt me forever and I’m happy that I told her. She respected me, because I respected her decision. And you know what we’re still friends to this day we may not talk to each other every day since I already graduated, but we still keep in touch with each other. If you’re worried about losing a friend don’t worry, because if she’s a good friend she will respect you and you’re feelings for her so I say go for it!

I completely agree. The easiest way to get an honest answer to ‘does/do he/she/they like me?’ is by asking them. If they say no, then they’re just not the one. And the one may be out there somewhere, still searching just as you are :>
Oh wow. I thought this was just gonna be about how people like you as a person, not wanting to date you lol. My boss and I hang out after work all the time, and we've gotten really close. He and I both have trust issues with people, but we've gotten pretty close. We share a lot of our past experiences with each other. There's also a girl at work that I'm really close with, but she's more like my sister. I can always text her when I'm going through something and she helps me through it.

I don't know what to do, I like them but I don't want to ruin things, I'm scared of rejection and making mistakes which I know they're part of life but I don't think I'll ever get used to it, the "what if?" Is always on my mind and I think about so many possibilities of what could happen and that I can't bring myself to confess my feelings for them.

For real though...I always feel guilty for that. But you know, sometimes this silence doesn't mean that you did something wrong. I feel like it can be a way for the other person to digest the reject and to process how to get over their feelings about you because obviously you won't feel the same way that they feel 🤷🏾♀️

I’m starting to have a crush on one of my best friends, and we’ve recently been staying on call with each other for like 2-4 hours at a time. Unfortunately, we live 14 hours away from each so we just call each other a lot, but he does ask for my opinions on things A LOT. We have a lot of fun with each other tho, and we even have inside jokes with each other, and we’ve shared a lot with each other. I’m afraid if I try to confess, he’ll be weirded out, but I’m just waiting for us to become even closer. :)
Good luck 😊 It can be complex when you don’t usually talk to your crush in person but it doesn’t mean they can’t feel the same way, and of course if they don’t there’s others out there.
Sometimes I would find someone to like while I was still in school. Then after my Senior year of High School, I made the decision not to like anyone unless they've made it clear they like me first. That method hasn't always worked in the past, but I might have to use it again to prevent more heartbreak.

The desire for love is the suffering that has ruined many. People who want someone in there life always suffer, even if they find someone. That someone could hurt them in some vile ways. Wanting love is only pain. Our purpose is it's end. One must let go of that desire for love to end that pain, and achieve true happiness.
I know this is a little bit off-topic, but I really want to know more about dealing with anger or sadness. I am suffering from ptsd and depression, and this is one of the hardest lesson I need to learn. I often do not know how to handle it. How do I express it? How do I let it out? What ways might be wrong? In my younger ages, I did make it up by myself. Telling no one and was cutting myself to forgot my negative feelings. Now I am at a point, where I don't really know how to express or handle it. But I do want to show it, because I know it is important.
I recently confessed to my crush, me and them have quite a long story but all I can say is that I've waited so long to say it that at this point, it dosen't matter if they say yes or no (For context, they said they would think about it, still waiting on that answer) because our friendship jas grown so strong that we both do not wish to let that fall down just cause it's not what I just want, and I am quite glad that regardless of the outcome we can still end on a happy note. I have to admit, I've let these sort of words come out of me towards them more than once, in some occacions even they seemd to throw some signs but, I guess they were just being friendly based on how our friendship was growing. Time will tell what will happen. :)

You were better off rejecting the darkness. We presume you've already got pulled into the darkness, or have suffered the consequences of accepting it. Otherwise, you can only hope that time favors you and that she does not hurt you. But she likely is using you, if you are still with her. And she will forsake you when you lose your value. Prepare for those possibilities and minimize your pain. Get some lawyers ready in case she makes false accusations towards you. All you can do now is prepare, or run, or ignore us. I have a friend who tends to ask often what I have in my mind or what am I thinking about. Before I had to join them in activities or to talk and recently they started looking for me. I also have a question here. Is it bad you tell someone about your past that in the future ends being your partner? I always get told that one should never tell past experiences, especially related to relationships, to a person who is a current partner or someone with the chance to be a partner. Another way that you can tell if someone feels the same way about you. Is when you tell them the way you feel about them. And then they tell you that they feel the exactly same way about you too.
