I bought a house I couldn't afford and boom , a recession hit (2008) and then the struggle began , long story short lost the house, credit ruined.....etc. But God... still here, wiser...
i love how the wife ask great questions to dig deeper into details she is an asset because she brings real life scenarios to this platform. He is good with the facts, so they are great team.
A new car would have to: A) get a great deal at purchase, B) pay off as fast as possible to not add to cost with interest, C) owned for 10-12-or more years to offset all depreciation losses in the first 5-8 years, and D) well maintained to sell at a premium to get back what you can from the car. Also, if paid off and well maintained, sometimes a $200ish dollar really good detailing revives the car to keep longer instead of getting something new. Paid off and driving is always cheaper than new with payments
Excellent examples, which I also practice. The most emblematic is the wedding day. A real waste of money. It's not easy to find a girl who aligns with this idea. You are a very lucky man. Your wife is a lovely person.
Thank you for this video! I can relate to these principles personally in that these are mistakes that I made and which led me into debt. I have learned to be very careful about what I drive and where I live. Your videos continue to help me learn how to manage my money in a way which is more intentional and realistic. Best wishes!
They're always looking for ways to make their money grow, rather than spend it. ... They're not buying brand-new cars. ... And they're not leasing new cars, either. ... They don't buy houses they can't afford. ... They're not buying things on credit that they can't pay for. ... They're not buying luxury goods from brand-name designers
I bought a Brahmin purse (on sale) and carried it for 12 years to work everyday. It lasted so well that I went on ebay and bought a used one for about the same as I paid for the first. It does make sense to spend a little on quality.
Who 'needs' a Louis Vuitton purse at any price? You may need a purse...you 'want' a show off purse. Learn the difference between needs and wants and stop making excuses that feeds Pride.
Money is an issue that everyone has for a better and luxurious life,Life was hard for me until I started trading bitcoin and am now earning $18,435 per week....
