so the gradient here works just like Illustrotor? noiceeeeeee. I don't know why Adobe doesn't take the best of both and apply it to one program, like be consistent Adobe! ahhh!
Agreed. It took me a while to transition because I had to learn a few things I’d do in PS that I couldn’t figure out in AP. Also I had to figure out what I was gonna do with all my actions…
I’ve been an avid user of Affinity Photo and Designer for a few years now but always watch your PS tutorials for tricks that might work in AP. It would be amazing if you could throw in a few AP tutorials as well. 😁
I agree. Been using PS since 1997 and I learn something new here every time. I am now moving to using more non-Adobe software so that I’m not dependent on that £50 a month subscription
I got affinity at my work as a replacement for photoshop, and I thought it was a trash imitation of ps, but i've found affinity to actually be really useful and intuitive!
Amazing video. Thank you! Affinity: $55...once. Photoshop: $21...per month! If Affinity can do this well at such a low price, so could Adobe, but they don't.
With Photoshop, there are other things that are included like cloud storage, Adobe Portfolio, and the overall updates. Yes, it is more expensive, but I believe you do get what you pay for. It makes more sense if you use all the features.
@@PiXimperfect I use none of the features and there's no way to not pay for what I don't use. I had a friend paying monthly for storage in both Google and Dropbox and icloud and adobe but only reallying uses Google Drive.
I'm watching this in July 2024. Now there's are thousands of people fleeing Adobe because off their terrible business practices. (including me). Your videos are far and away the best Photoshop tutorials out there, at any price. I realize that adding Affinity content would amount to forking your content and that would be tricky business decision. But damn, learning Affinity at a professional level would be so much easier from your videos!
I have been working in photography for more than 20 years and I have always used photoshop but since a few years ago I have switched to affinity photo, and I really don't regret it.
Thank you for the good video. I've been using PS for year, about 6 months ago I tried affinity photo and designer. Now I switched completely to affinity and do not regret it at all. Excellent all around. WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE AFFINITY VIDEOS
I started using Affinity Photo about 5 years ago and am extremely happy with it. It does everything I need flawlessly for fun or for my commercial photography business. I use it for everything and I shoot it all! I also teach editing while using Affinity Photo and most clients usually drop PS and LR for Affinity after we are done. The team over at Serif who created this software did a great job and are committed to consistent and game changing updates. Always innovating and improving the system.
You are an excellent instructor. Please start tutorials using Affinity Photo. Times are changing and this includes economies around the world. Monthly subscription models, such as for Adobe products, will not be feasible in the near future, especially for academic institutions. Many photographers, photo editors, graphic designers, etc., have dropped Adobe subscriptions.
I've been using photoshop since beta in the early 90s and have been wanting them to do this since then. To see a 3rd party app do it before them is frustrating and why there needs to be legit competition for all their products...
@@PiXimperfect Hey man I just wanted to say you are the best instructor I've seen not just for Photoshop but anything really. You have a way of explaining things in a way that's easy to understand and pick up. I graduated from Ringling in the early 90s (when digital art was in its infant stages) and worked in the industry on and off since. You have helped me stay current now that I work from home and don't have others around to bounce ideas or tech issues off. You've proven you CAN teach an old dog new tricks =). I send a lot of people to your videos both pros needing to keep up to date with new techniques and features and as well as new people wanting to learn PS. Keep up the good work we appreciate it!
At this point it's more than competition I'm afraid. The level of performance we have from Photoshop is ridiculously low compared to what the de facto standard should be. I have a top notch computer and I can't believe how laggy and unresponsive Photoshop is. Also, we're in 2022, I work with high megapixel cameras and huge files and Photoshop keep crashing randomly no matter how I keep everything up to date (which is their default answer to any issue). It is so frustrating and I slowly but surely came to the conclusion that they either don't put enough resouces into solving bugs and improving performance or have such a huge technical debt and backlog they simply can't do it.
When Piximperfect shows these litle things where Photoshop is lacking, it blows my mind. I haven't used much of those features, but I didn't think that it would be so frustrating to do those tasks.🤯 I would say. Unbelievable! 🤡
I switched to Affinity Photo and Designer because I can't afford the Adobe products anymore. I'd like to see you do tutorials on Affinity Photo or at least mention how to accomplish the same functions in both programs.
Don't know whether Photoshop will learn anything from Affinity or vice versa but one thing's sure that both Affinity and Photoshop are learning a lot from YOU Unmesh and so are WE!
I used to be a Photoshop and Adobe die-hard, since the early 90's, but since the release of the Affinity products, I'm totally converted to Affinity (price tag alone makes it a no-brainer). If you get all three apps (Photo, Designer, and Publisher) you can also take advantage of their "Studio" workflow, which lets you work with Designer and Photo elements without having to open them, while you are working in Publisher. I find Affinity apps to have a much more intuitive workflow and for several tasks are noticeably faster than the Adobe counterparts. A note on your reference to the icon differences -- If you don't like the color icons you can switch to monochromatic ones in the preferences.
Adobe switching to CC was probably great as a business move, but that made so many professionals to start looking for another options.First of all, stability was thrown out the window with random and constant updates messing things up. Creating ever evolving spaghetti over the old core didn't help. Sure you were able to opt out of constant updates but that just takes away the point of CC. Then there's the Achilles heel of not actually owning your copy of program. If and whenever Adobe decides to pull down their service, that's it. No money back. Can't trust to have backups of your cloud projects etc. There's no mention of any guarantee whatsoever against any case where their services end and customers being able to recover their data. At least not that I was able to find when I tried to research for it.
Awesome, well put. I also moved from Illustrator to Affinity Designer and Publisher and I can never look back, ...just delaying to migrate from photoshop due to Camera Raw features but I know this has to change too
Clone stamping in Affinity Photo is a beast. With preview, you can see where it's going to be placed and you can rotate the preview to foresee where you need to stamp next! And it has flip vertical and horizontal again with preview. Has saved me so many times!
Great video! Another feature of Affinity that I love is blend ranges, which is a much more powerful version of Photoshop's blend if. Instead of controlling the range with sliders like in Photoshop, you do it with curves, which is so much more versatile.
I bought Affinity around 2017, but I didn't start using it heavily until about 1-2 years later when I moved over completely. Overall I am pretty happy with the direction that they have gone with Affinity, especially Photo, as a concept artist. The improvements to the brush engine, the addition of Linked Layers, more non-destructive adjustment layers and filters like Liquify, etc. have made me glad I switched. My new super computer rig that I built around November last year has made me appreciate the improvements done to performance with 1.10 even more. 16-bit and 32-bit canvas support in Affinity are so much better than in Photoshop, with 32-bit being extremely limiting and slow even on my new PC. The Affinity Suite still has a lot of room to grow, but after having used it exclusively over Photoshop for about 4 years I have no plans of going back unless I absolutely have to for some job. Photo may not have the same polish as Photoshop in some areas, but there are still a lot of things I appreciate that made me realise just how ancient Photoshop is to work with. The fact that I can have any type of blur or transformation as a non-destructive layer without needing Smart Objects, or that I can create actual true vector shapes with a live updating canvas when picking colours are features I just can't live without. Not to mention regular transformations with the Move Tool is just so much simpler and convenient than the Photoshop method, with the only thing I really miss is perspective transforms by ctrl+L clicking the nodes like you can in Photoshop. Finally, the cross-compatibility between Photo, Designer, and Publisher is absolutely unmatched. Affinity has a strongly built foundation that I can't wait to see being expanded upon by fixing usability issues big and small. In all honesty I am a bit concerned about the future of Photoshop if Adobe do not start addressing some of its legacy code problems. Heck, they might have to make a rebooted Photoshop with modern code as a foundation to make that happen. Also, just have to say that I love your videos! It's been fun learning to recreate some of your tutorials inside of Affinity. I hope you will make Affinity tutorials in the future. I would definitely watch them! :)
G'day I have switched from Photoshop to Affinity about 3 years now, and I haven't missed PS a single bit. As a graphic designer, one feature of Serif has over Adobe is in the way you can change from within Affinity photo, a Affinity designer document with out changing programmes. Also, Affinity saves a file differently than Photoshop. If you are working on a extremely large file in Affinity and you change only a layer and you want to save it. Affinity, write over, and save only the area that you change on the file. It's a lot quicker than Photoshop, where the whole file is saved. I have done an experiment and saved the same 600gb document with 80-plus layers and alter the same item in the same layer. In affinity, it took about 30 seconds, but the same alteration in Photoshop took 15 minutes. Havagooday Greg
Damn I had worked on 5gb files (16 bit 14000 os file with 10 adjustment layer) and it takes my Photoshop like almost 10 minutes to save (to be real still with a 2012 processor) but a 600 gb file I would never be able to open it.
Another diehard Pshop user, but I refuse to go to their subscription model, so I've been using CS6 for yrs until I decided to "upgrade" to Affinity 2.0 recently. It is a learning curve & quite familiar simultaneously. I'm certain I'll be up to speed eventually. But yes, in the meantime...more Affinity Photo tutorials, please! Affinity Revolution, indeed.
I work in illustration and changed over to affinity completly. Not only do the programs work together more fluidly and have great features, but it is soooooo much cheaper. Since i used different programs two months of adobe programs cost me as much as i payed for affinity in total. Not feeling like photoshop is ripping me of with its subscriptions is already worth it for me.
I would say this, I have used Affinity Suite during my entire career. There are some features from Photoshop that I would love to see Affinity support like Better Smart Object for Mockups, Texture & Pattern Overlay, Smart Filters…, but since their greedy and scummy business practices (High cancellation fees, recent TOS bs, high price and making users to buy their whole suite to seem like it’s a better deal but in fact you don’t use all of them), I switched to Affinity and have never looked back since. I would love to see more of Affinity tutorials from your channel, especially during the recent wave of people cancelling Adobe subscription and switching to Affinity Suite.
I've been an Adobe user/PS ACE/advocate for 25 years. That ended permanently yesterday. Their competitors are better in the most important ways at a fraction of the price and problems. Affinity (PS), Capture One (LR) and Davinci Resolve (PR/AE). Best of all, you are no longer robbed blind by sociopaths exploiting what most people unfortunately still think is a monopoly.
I've been using Affinity photo for a year, before that-I used Photoshop for years. Now after I look at this video, makes me feel great using it. Please make another Affinity videos, thanks
I switched to Affinity Photo 5 years ago (professional use) and I'm never looking back. You've only scratched the surface of the many things Affinty does better, not to mention the boat load of money I've saved!
Another benefit of Photo: Jumping between Serif programs feels natural, and it feels like the same project gets the same treatment. In Adobe, I feel like one project belongs to one program and resists. Picking colors in Affinity outside the program area works great - compared to the trick of holding down the mouse button and dragging. Handling and editing a PDF file in affinity is fabulous while in illustrator or photoshop it's a pain - something they should be ashamed of. Despite the language limitation in Affinity, you can insert your own dictionary (e.g. Polish) and check for errors and correct them automatically in the program - thanks to the dictionary from Libre Office. The performance of the program itself and the compression of work files is 100 times better than Adobe. Plus, Affinity supports virtually all Adobe plugins (except those based on masks).
Hey, just wanted to say thank you and to take a second to just relish the fact that you are talented, handsome, and have created a whole career doing something you love! You did it!!
Affinity steps closer with every update they release, and it's becoming my go-to. Besides the things pointed out here, one of the other things I really like is Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher, are all built around the same core programming, they work together better than Ps, Ai, and Ind, less saving and re-opening files in other programs to get things done, something that was always a time wasting pain, but for some reason really grinds my gears now that I know it can be done so seamlessly. Affinity is doing a lot to enhance productivity and workflow with the features they're incorporating, something that's in line with the part of the industry I'm in. In the 20+ years I've been doing this, there was no single brand program suite that offered a realistic alternative for professional designers, or an affordable option for the next generation of budding designers wanting to learn, and I'm happy to see it. I think everyone will benefit from them having a competitor, that always fuels the fire of innovation from all parties.
You can add a live filter anywhere and drag it anywhere with no need to use the assistant. I love more and more the Affinity features as time goes by. A lot to learn from photoshop as well as the other why around too...
Adjustment layers in Photoshop were a big step, and next step should be doing the same with filters. But for some reasons Photoshop had stayed only with adjustments and had no idea to push it forward to filters. And still they can't for too many years now since intriduction of adjustment layers.
Very true. If Adobe introduces that, without the glitches and the crashes, it's going to really smash the competition unless the competition comes up with something even better.
@@PiXimperfect I think problem is sitting deep inside Photoshop core. Adobe still can't cleanup their filters. So now we have legacy filters like old "gausain blur" for example, and new filters like "blur gallery". And it is a mess like old and new Control Panel in Windows existing still together because it is so old but important piecie of coding, that the only way of changing it is to do all new from scratch. This would be a revolution not evolution. But honestly I think it's time when Photoshop need that, because there are moments in Photoshop when you feel how old code that is and how it drags down workflow or performance with today hardware.
@@kevinxflynn1160 It's basically 80s technology vs 2020 technology. Affinity its going to take over photoshop in a few years if Adobe don't creat a brand new Photoshop. Saludos
@@Diego-Reyes Yeah and the craziest thing is that Affinity can do this with Photoshop's PSD files, they didn't even have to come up with something new. Imagine if Adobe would make a new Photoshop they could even get away with using the old PSD format or at least keep it as an alternative.
Good to see this take, people are too often biased by anti Adobe or anti subscription or non-pros complaining about cost. Use what you want, but "gets the job done" isn't a good mantra for professionals, we want the best tools for the job, that allow us to do what we need.
I kinda got the feeling the for most people, Photoshop is really just something to shut other people's mouth off because most of its advantage to Affinity Photo is rather niche and not even related to photo editing, and a lot of people are pirating Photoshop without using those features because they don't know any other software that does the same job. And now that Affinity hits 2.0, it's a lot better than what's shown in this video (well, mainly for nondestructive workflow things), and there's even less reason to keep bothering with Photoshop.
Also the price is insane. Adobe just raised their subscription prices, even though they are raking in money, so from principle I looked for alternative and landed on Affinity Photo. Switching was a breeze and there aren't a lot of Photoshop features I'm missing and usually there's a workaround at least. I'm glad Affinity is developing this in their own direction, I was a bit worried early that they are almost too similar and have copied also frustrating things from Photoshop, but having used it for a while I couldn't be happier. Btw. I also switched out After Effects and Premiere and the free alternatives are just amazing: Da Vinci Resolve and Natron are what I landed on and they are not just replacements, they are a lightyear skip in workflow and potential. They do take more time to get used to than Affinity though, but I recommend it.
@@z3dar Technically those who would actually pay for Adobe stuffs wouldn't mind the price increase anyway, because they kinda have to have a stable job for Adobe stuffs to be "worth it", and even the whole suite wouldn't make a dent to their income. For anyone that either lost that stable job that worths keeping Adobe stuffs for, or have always been a freelancer in the visual designing field, well, low cost perpetual license software it is. That way, even if you can't earn it back from freelancing it's at least a fair price to pay for the hobby.
With the Liquify in Affinty Photo you can adjust the number of divisions in the tool for mor efine tune adjustmenst or more broad adjustments. I think this a great feature as you may not need such fine tune control over the liquify. So in the example those divisions could have been made much much smaller for the adjustment of the hair. BTW, I mainly use PS but am learning through a Trial Version Affinity Photo. Not sure I'll just use 1 over the other because PS has some Amazing AI tools built it now. However, IF I was on a budget (I am on a fixed monthly income) then choosing Affinity would be a Great Choice. Both softwares are tools and YOUR personnal workflow and use case might even be "That" edge case. LOL. I love that we DO have choices though with other programs stepping up there "Feature Game". Cheers! Stay Healthy and Stay Sane.
I've used Photoshop since version 1.7. I retired last year and bought a new M1 MacBookPro and simply couldn't justify the price of Photoshop (and I'm a photographer by trade). My primary tool for photos is Capture One but I own all the Affinity apps and I agree with all the commenters who say they'd love to see some Affinity tutorials. Your Photoshop tutorials are first rate and to have that resource for Affinity would be excellent.
AP does have the Offset Tool for the Inner and Outer shadow, so that you can move the shadow around with your mouse, but yes you have to click it first.
RAM consumption of Photoshop and Illustrator is the major reason I decided to pay for Affinity. I can open 3 Affinity programs with the same memory storage as ONLY Photoshop.
Wow. This video is a blast from the past. I used to watch PiXimperfect videos years ago before switching to more 3D artwork. The new studio looks dope and the subscriber count is massive now. Congrats. The content (and charm) is still solid as ever. I've been afraid to switch from Photoshop even though it's not part of my daily workflow anymore. After watching several other videos, this is the one that convinced me to switch despite the downsides. Cheers!
I actually moved from Affinity when I was strictly on PC, to PS when I moved to Mac(didn't wanna buy Affinity again). It was a very tough transition at first. I love PS now, but in some ways Affinity just really simplifies certain processes. Great video!
I have affinity and PS, I use affinity for subject selection and its way more accurate then save psd and import into PS, likewise I do things in PS and then transfer to affinity - its good to have both programs , they are both fantastic, some features are better in affinity and vice versa
I am working with Affinity Photo since 1.5 and doing tutorials (in German;) and I think it is very great. I would say, if you are working years with Photoshop, you should not change. But if you start today with editing, give the ecosystem of affinity a shot. You are able to do 99% of things you can imagine. It is very sad that Serif is not getting the probs they deserve, cause the do a very good job. Greetings from Germany and keep up the great work. I love your chanel.
Thank you for making this video! I have both programs and I use Adobe most of the time because it is what I've used the most but you demonstrated real world examples of how Affinity is better. Great work! I'm not sure about everyone else but I would enjoy seeing more content like this where you show how to do the same or even better in Affinity.
Your all points are valid, ⚠️ but there's an option for gradient and classic gradient in Photoshop. The one you used is a classic Gradient. Instead, You should try Gradient. I guess you missed it in photoshop
Been a photshop user my whole life and the things mention in this video about photoshop is on point !!!! i have never used affinity photo but the thing mention affinity photo is on the wining sid for these few simple things to make work flow much smoother
I've been using Photoshop since CS3 and never knew you could combine brushes. This is why I watch every video, I always pick up a cool trick unrelated to the subject!
I am an Affinity package user and I love your tutorials that are almopst always compatible with the Affinity environment. What convinced me to leave Adobe was their subscription system. And after a few years I'm glad that I don't feel any need to go back to their applications anymore.
I agree that one of Photoshop's biggest weaknesses is that filters are destructive, and to make them "smart" (yeah right, Adobe), you have to put them inside a container ironically dubbed "Smart Object". I don't know why it's such an ordeal for them not to make filters adjustment layers. I know it's possible because things like Liquify are applied as nondestructive effects in After Effects, and you can actually animate effects, so it must not be that difficult to implement in a static image editor like Photoshop. As Corridor Digital pointed out, a lot of these shortcomings stem from Adobe's complacency, as the "industry-standard" software maker. The codebases of their programs are ancient, bloated and often unstable, and there's little incentive to change. Some of the very basic features had taken forever to be implemented correctly, and yet they keep churning out all these fany-pantsy AI-based features, which, granted, are nice, but how about just fix all the existent problems, make the existent features work as intended, instead of trying to impress with new experimental features? Why pouring your resources into developing bells and whistles, rather than quality-of-life functions?

Man!... I saw a few people giving advice in RU-vid and I wanted to congratulate you. Smooth, clear voice, good mood, amusing: congratulations!! Suscribed!
Finally! :) In Photoshop and PSP, I've always had to reduce images to fit in the scene, get the dimensions and then resize the image all by itself to import. Very annoying!
Really nice to see a video about Affinity Photo. Hope to see more content about Affinity and its features. I think it gets the work done for me, because I am only an occasional editor and it provides everything I want. But what they've achieved in such a short time, is quite impressive. The first version itself it was a really good product unlike the first versions of other products. And they're catching up quite fast!
Affinity is catering towards a different type of users right now. Designer as an example was made for the sole purpose of illustration, that's why that app is missing lots of tools and features you can find in Illustrator BUT the ability to work with Designer AND Photo features like raster brushes in just on click with their Personas feature is PRICELESS. Same happens with Publisher, if you have their three apps (Designer, Photo and Publisher) you can create illustrations for your books or magazines directly on Publisher without the hassle of jumping from one app to another like in Adobe. All in all, I'm happy to see you are showing interest in Affinity apps now :)
Just for everybody's information, you can now move drop shadows around independently with mouse/pen in Affinity 2.0. You can also instantly create multiple versions of FX filters and control them totally non-destructively at any stage. The only things I think PS has over AP is much better content aware tools and better third party plugins support (though lots of PS plugins do work in Affinity). Oh and Affinity Photo is currently £35 for a lifetime licence. And that isn't a monthly subscription, it's for the lifetime of the product; with all updates completely free.
Affinity Photo is a Cool photo editing software almost like photoshop. Both of them have same features but the techniques are different. Thanks for this video Umesh! I learned something new and never miss a video.💗💗💗
I'm using Affinity Designer and Photo for a years along with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator...both are amazing....but now Luminar Neo blows my mind....
You're such a delightful personality and wonderful teacher! I've really gotten hooked on your videos, and have learned so much more than I ever knew about Photoshop. Thank you!
I've been using photoshop for 15 year for photo retouching and restoration, that is my main income source. I started to use Affinity on the ipad for simple restoration and colorization works, the freedom to work any where was the first reason. But, after some time and getting uses to, I've been slowly switching my work Flow to Affinity on ipad and desktop. Photoshop have been full of bugs and flaws for so many years it's ridiculus. Beside the price tag on Affinity, the easy of use, the power, and the new tecnology ready to grow, its a matter of time that Affinity becomes the leader of the industry. Saludos desde México.
Thanks for showing Affinity :) I've been using this for years. And it works pretty well. I know it's not "the king", but I can use a lot of my Photoshop skills in this software. The lower price is a big thing for me. little fun fact: You can move the "shadow" with the mouse. The Effects panel. Has a button for it :D. Little confusing issues with affinity. But hey, nobody is perfekt. - I Promote Affinity all the time! - I like this App!
Photoshop is indeed the real premium OG. But for amateurs, Affinity is not only a great starting point, but an amazing and reliable tool to just have in any toolkit as an image editing app and all that at no monthly cost. I stopped using Photoshop and I miss it but as an amateur I just can’t justify paying for software I use once in a while at such a premium price. I believe one is a clear pro tool and the other can appeal to enthusiasts and hobbyists with relative ease. All-in-all I’ll admit for my simple needs, sometimes I can’t tell the difference but I confess photoshop *feels* and *performs* better. I also remember it running faster on my machines. Just my thoughts!
I'm really happy to see this video. Choices can be made also on a preofession level, what are you doing for living. For me as a hobby photographer the choise is not Lightroom+Photoshop (started with BibbleLabs, then Lightroom), but now Capture1+AffinityPhoto, although i think if i can't achive what i want by making the picture and some work in C1, then it is caused by any other reason, when i try to capture/draw a dream or fantasy. Sorry for my poor english. But many thanks and respect for this video.
Nice! I’m learning Affinity Photo. I was about to say use smart object but I like that you can paint on Affinity photo layer with resized image while keeping resolution. True you can paint on smart object only if double clicked but not within current scene so it’s annoying. Amazing Affinity! Keep it up so I can fully convert. 😀
This is first time I see a video from you and it was amazing. You explain everything very well. This video was a good thing to do, Serif deserves these good comments to their affinity products.
Fantastic video! We use Adobe at work, but I use Affinity at home, and while many advanced workflow tools are missing in the Affinity apps, once you get used to the speed and interchangeability in Affinity, it makes Adobe a frustrating experience. It definitely feels as if each Adobe app is made by an isolated team that never interacts with other Adobe products. I’d love to see you make more Affinity tutorials!
I love the Affinity products. I'm a instructional designer and board game designer, and only have occasional use for these products. The ease of use and pricing make them a no brainer over adobe.
I just love your videos and their quality. I am complete away from Adobe -Photoshop -> Affinity Photo -InDesign -> Affinity Publisher -Illustrator -> Affinity Designer -Acrobat Reader -> SumatraPDF -Premiere Pro -> DaVinci Resolve or HitFlim Express -After Effects -> HitFilm Express -XD -> figma -Lightroom -> Skylum Luminar
This just demonstrates why competition is so important and beneficial to the end users. Without competition there is little reason to change or improve and any changes that do occur come from a few opinions in a corporate conference room. Photoshop is great product with some glaring inadequacies that have been around for a while. Instead of fixing them, they spend their time adding 'neural filters' which are interesting, but not something that photographers and artists are going to use very much. It just bloats the program and should be a separate program for folks that into that.
I'm an After effect user and my opinion is... adobe should cross the technology between their own sofware. Inside after effect you can create adjusment layer and add all the effect on it. If you move or change something to the layer under this adjusment layer you can... So I hope one day this kind of feature will be used inside photoshop!! Thanks for this video and all of your work. And by the way I practice my english vocabulary and listening with you... your accent is not to jard to understand (for a french guy like me 🤣 )
You are literally the Photoshop King 👑😁...but as an Affinity user it was cool seeing you dabble with Affinity and it would be amazing if you did some tutorials (similar to your awesome Photoshoot tutorials) using Affinity Photo. Although with that said, I have always watched your videos and I can usually pull off what you teach, whilst I am using Affinity .. usually 🙄🤦♂️🤣
"If you look at it with the eyes of the graphics designer" Like, that's the thing. Affinity is better for anyone who needs access to art tools, but can't justify the montly expense. As a hobbiest game designer, there's no way I can justify Photoshop.
Great Video! Love how clear, concise, and brief you are. We all don't have a ton of time to absorb information and content. This video was so well done. Thank you!
Are you kidding me ! These are exactly the things everyone wants from photoshop! And these are like ESSENTIALS, not a rare case scenario. Man! This is just better, not even a condition, it's just better!
