I see many people in these videos complaining bitterly about bad luck in love and how they have never achieved anything and being in their 30s. I'm going to put here what helped me to get out of that situation (sorry about the long message xd). The best advice I can give you is to be self-critical WITH a cold mind. Beware, self-critical is NOT self-destructive. "I'm shit and no one will ever like me" is being self-destructive, and it's not really going to bring anything productive. We all have bad days, it's inevitable. But be careful not to fall into self-pity or self-destruction cycle. Avoid OF COURSE that "all women are bit***s" attitude. It is childish, it is false, and also it will not bring any happiness to your life (believe me). If you have tried and never succeeded, indeed you are doing something wrong. BUT that does not mean that you will never attract someone. Coldly analyze (I know it's difficult, believe me I know ...) what you do wrong is really important. Dating sites in my experience are NOT a good site. Of course you can get dates and be successful in them, but there the competition is very tough and if you have insecurities the only thing you are going to do is feed them. Learning to socialize well is very important. Socializing well is not being the guy with sunglasses and a bright aura around him, it is creating a positive (and not false, and this is possible) impression on yourself. The first impression is ALWAYS very important. Be neat, be polite, be kind, and be respectful. To like a girl (I'm talking about girls because I'm a heterosexual man, but this works with everyone xd), it is essential that she feels comfortable with you. If women are generally comfortable with you, you're halfway done. If women don't feel comfortable with you ... Go to the self-criticism section. Of course, it is IMPOSSIBLE to create a perfect impression on everyone. But here you have to take into account the average. Another VERY important thing is NOT to mythologize women and NOT to be afraid of women. Women ... are people. In what matters they are like us. Some are adorable and some are horrible human beings. If you feel very shy around women, just try having female friends. Women serve more than being a love or sexual interest, they are the other half of the human species. There are really nice girls out there that you can have a nice and genuine friendship with. In addition to adding a new friendship to your life, you will discover that women are human beings like you and me. That's all I can think of folks, have a good day.

Honestly, I've found that people who own a pet, and actually love them, tend to be more gentle and caring toward others. I was friends with a couple of people: one owned a dog, but told me herself that she was not a dog person and ended up being extremely toxic, the other didn't own a pet and would actually hate it when I petted an animal in front of her or an animal got too close to her. She turned out to be verbally and emotionally abusive. Now, I have a best friend who owns two dogs. I've never met then in person, but he loves them and he's the only person in the world I trust completely. He's an excellent listener, chooses his words carefully, is very positive, very kind and understanding and is overall very cool and popular, but not in a showy way. Every single one of my closest friends either own a pet, or love animals. I find it a red flag when someone doesn't.

Can confirm that last one. There is a guy I have a crush on that is really nice and part of the reason I find him so attractive is that he plays the piano, guitar, and can sing. I tend to sing randomly and he is the only friend thus far that has joined in, rather than just awkwardly sitting there.

I guess there’s always some room for individual differences although most of these are true for me. The only exception is that I’ve always found myself attracted to “girly girls” that are very feminine. The women who wear dresses and grow their hair out and always have nail polish and makeup on have always attracted me in a subconscious level and really it has taken me years to realize I tend to gravitate towards that type. If there wasn’t some differences between everyone the world would be a boring place though lol

1. I tend to hide how i feel and only open up to a certain person 2. I somehow doubt i would get a date if i walked around with a snake as a pet 3. The only instrument i can play are my vocals, and i cant sing in clean vocals, sounds horrible so i found out that my vocals are more suited for guttural/growling vocal singing... It's interesting the androgynous appearance is on this list. I've always been on the slightly feminine side of androgeny slightly androgynous side of femininity. I've been told by all the women in my family that boys like girls who look like girls, so I needed to be more feminine. That didn't make sense to me, especially seeing as I had no problem attracting guys.

I just get attracted to people that remind me of myself. Like: Short Hair, Wears Glasses, Asexual, Plays an Instrument, Extroverted, ENTP, etc.

For that last one, not just instruments, but also if you’re in choir/chorus/can sing. All three of my crushes are in chorus, for some reason I love a guy who can sing, mostly because I want to hear their voices and it makes them a little softer to me. Also, we go to after school events and stuff and sing. Like we sing at different theaters, sports games, things like that. It’s nice to see them outside of school because they tend to be more comfortable, and so am I, which can then help them to notice you more. (Learned from personal experience. We sang at a baseball game recently and I felt really myself, and acted myself. I was having genuine fun once the stressful singing part was over. I’m known as the quiet kid so for them to see me running around beating my mom with a light up pool noodle and inflatable baseball bat while hysterically laughing caught their attention) I know for a fact that at least two of them were watching me die laughing because the next Monday they started acting different around me, I’ve caught them staring a few times. Both of them even know my name,I know that, like the other day one was handing out papers and asked “my name, have I given you one yet” and that made my face burn. So in other words, try being yourself and just maybe they’ll notice you. At the end of the school year we’re going on an overnight trip and staying in a hotel and going to a theme park and other places so I’ll let my personality shine then.

0:26 Fun fact: This actually worked, I did it at my school a couple years ago. I don't even know how or what happened. I decided to wear sunglasses one day because of the sun hurting my eyes, and when I did I became more confident because of the lack of eye contact. I got high fives from strangers and was liked by many, though I wasn't before. Really weird.
