Brothers also tend to act the same way that fathers do whenever their sister gets a boyfriend (even if the boyfriend is a good guy). It seems brothers (like fathers) hate the idea of their sisters dating. It's way more complicated than portrayed in the video. Looks are the short term part of attraction and you can do without them. The long-term and way more important part is your compatibility in terms of personality. My boyfriend didn't notice me romantically when we first met because of my terrible skin. But because we have a lot in common, we quickly became best friends until that turned into something else. If you stay true to your values and your personality, one day the right person will come along and they will fall for you, no matter your looks.

When you like someone a lot, their apperance doesn't matter. The personality shines through. 💕

it's more like a generalization I believe, it doesn't apply to everyone in the same way. people who I deemed attractive were not conventionally good looking once I got to know them i was like" huh he looks nice". I don't have the drive to be in romantic relationships nor do I seem to be physically attracted to others as much as other people do(crushes and all of that) but once I encounter a personality that is nice then I perceive their overall image as such. Physical contact of any sort in a relationship can feel good for both parties and both may want it but asexuality just means that the person may not feel the sexual desire for other people.
