Fushimi shrine was worth it, Arashiyama bamboo grove was not worth it...was expecting so much more. I was expecting to see a whole mountain full of bamboo but everyone takes the same pics and video because thats all you pretty much see when you get there. Deer park was awesome. I would go back again. Japan is soooo rich in culture, its amazing.
Yes, I agree. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but Arashiyama bamboo grove is overhyped and overcrowded. The lookout nearby is stunning - worth checking out!!
What month did you visit bamboo Grove? As they're less tourist visit in your video. Or can you recommend what time or month is best to visit there to prevent those crowded tourists.
