Making friends is a great point. Most native Finns make friends during school and college but after that they don't really meet new people outside of work or dating, so it's just as hard for a native. Then again many Finns are perfectly happy when they are completely alone which I think is a bit uncommon globally.
Am glad you mentioned that point with having to learn the language. It’s the same here in Denmark. You have to speak the language even jobs like cleaning. And the point of being lonely. In Denmark it’s almost impossible to make friends in Denmark. So Finland 🇫🇮 and Denmark have so much in common. Thanks for sharing beautiful 😍
Hi! I am a Finnish person who has lived and studied in Denmark and I think after I learned to speak Danish it was possible for me to find friends there. I met them through my studies though. But it is just that when you can follow and join random discussions around you, it makes it easier. But it is true that making friends in Nordic countries is not so easy. I have also lived in Tanzania for a while and ended up living with a local family cause I became so good friends with them. This rarely happens in Nordic countries. It is something about the personal space I think. But it does not mean we do not love and care for our friends too. 😘
@@kpt002 Still finding friends is so difficult. So many articles and after being here over 25 years I know that for sure and even Danes say if they loose their childhood friends or divorce, it’s almost impossible to make friends.
Now a days, it is literaly, beneficial in finnish-job market, if you just have language- skills to be migrant.Cos it’s a known fact that, birth- rate is too low to run all public- services.
Cheapest groceries are in S-Markets, then LIDL. The latter has odd selection, it can be much cheaper on certain things but quality varies too much overall. At least i never find all of the things i am looking for in LIDL. S-Markets has everything basic you are going to need but there are less fancy, imported products.

Hello @@just42tube sorry for the delay. First we have the same climate that can be unfavourable however Finland is a little colder. And as I was reading about Finland they have good public healthcare system just like we do. But here poeple will talk to others as they cross path in the streets but apparently Finns won't do that. And here everyone wants to get in your bubbles which I do not like.
