Spoiler: oops, this is the first time I accidently found something that is a far better idea than I realised, and would totally recommend even for survival
The water nether dimension will give someone a heart attack. Adding new mobs (underwater ones), how scary, imagine an undead shark swimming towards you in the nether.
@@NoobSharkey As a technical java player it's so weird watching Bedrock videos. It's like visiting a country that's on the other side of the world. It looks similar but when you get close it's so different and confusing
@@NoobSharkey what were some of the things you didn't understand? When I tried bedrock half of my redstone contraptions didn't work, the other worked differently. Also mob ai was broken at times
@@incog0956 mainly cuz a few features i was used to were different such as comparators not being able to read thru a piston and quazi connectivity which i dont really understand
I'm literally about to go to bed and just decided to watch a few of his videos. I was dozing off until 11:29 when the audio suddenly got very loud, I had a small panic XD
11:08 Oh thank goodness. I recently got to the End in my current world and I was reminded of just how _boring_ it is to just endlessly bridge over the void from one island to the next looking for an End City, and more importantly an End City with a ship, and just how much the current version of the End is _clearly_ designed to be explored with an Elytra, but once you get one there isn't much reason to keep exploring (I mean, there's shulker boxes, but you'll probably already have a good amount after raiding one decently-sized city). I actually ended up resorting to commands to find a city with a ship (after 2 or 3 found normally with no ship after several hours), which is something I normally hate doing, but I decided that if I wasn't having fun with this part of the game I was _playing for fun,_ there was no point in forcing myself to keep doing it.
I’m a server admin and I give my players the seed. You can always use the seed to check for cities on chunk base. I agree, the point is fun. Misery is fun for some, but not for most.
Try Ender Pearls instead of bridging? Mojang basically always generates the islands within a pearl's throw of each other. Also, the utility of the End depends in part on playstyle. A technical player farms and transports enough blocks that dozens, perhaps hundreds of shulker boxes might be necessary. I have over 30 shulker boxes storing dried kelp blocks alone. Spare elytra are great, especially for long or dangerous trips. And then there's diamonds. End cities are actually a very fast way to get them. Even faster if you want diamond gear.
@@B463L : All good points. However, as far as ender pearls, I'd be far too concerned that I'd miss and wind up hitting the side of the island and plummeting into the void. As for the loot, yeah a handful of players are gonna have a use for a ton of shulkers and elytra, but overall it's a minority. The reality is the vast majority of players _never even defeat the dragon,_ let alone explore the end for shulkers and elytra. And yeah, it's good for diamonds, but there are a ton of ways to get diamonds. They may not be as efficient, but most players don't care that much. And personally, I've made diamonds completely obsolete through an exceptionally overpowered villager trading hall (seriously I can buy any piece of diamond gear I need for 1 emerald, which I can get by trading a single feather. It's ridiculous and I love it. Don't recommend the effort, though. Villagers are suffering).
11:15 when he said dream dimension I was like “oh yes, a Dream dimension where instead of the normal Minecraft music all you can hear is wheezing and ‘Georgeeee’
Just watch as their “cave update” in the future is one after the inevitable “End Update”/“Ender Update” and basically just adds a cave dimension with some new ores that aren’t possible to obtain in the overworld. This alongside some things like Stalactites/Stalagmites, Cave dimension exclusive structures, and probably 1 or more new mobs, and this hypothetical “Cave Update” would be a major update that would be well liked by many players. EDIT: I remembered that the End already got some changes in the 1.9 Combat Update, but that wasn’t necessarily an “End Update”
A cave dimension would be awesome for players like me who has a highly developed and explored world where you must go really far away to see the new stuff
And End update would be cool, but the point of it is being a cold wasteland... maybe they can make an alternative to ice? Water CAN be placed, despite it harming the local endermen.
emptying the end is something you should do in creative! I completely blasted away the endstone with TNT minecarts then killed the ender dragon 20 times to get all the portals and built futuristic towers around each of them and I'm slowly expanding out to create a vast void city and I plan to expand it until it can be seen from the outer end islands
Hearing the Ender dragon the last of its kind and i realize is sooo sad, just imagine why the Dragon attacked you was just because she wants to protect her baby because your a stranger. ;-;
Toycat: show things you shouldn’t build Me: well I cant be bothered to do any of them anyways Edit: once I tried to replace the obsidian platform with quartz. It just turned back into obsidian and I was sad.
Currently working on removing the obsidian towers on my server with one other friend. It's not worth it. We've got 6 of them mined out so far and are taking a break
Some of Java edition's world generation settings actually let you achieve a lot of these really cool ideas. You want those floating rocks from the blue people Avatar? You got it. You want an end overworld with lava oceans? You GOT it
21:42 that house on the far left of the screen is my favorite Village house! They seem to be SO rare, I've never found one myself! Im sad now... :( kinda
I recall once I made a 1:8 nether portal in Survival Each direction was increased 8x, so every block was actually 8 blocks in every direction, so a single block was about 500 blocks. Was a really slow project, but totally worth it, the end result was astounding!
toycat: "Jeb said that they want to update the two other dimensions before adding a new dimension hence the nether update, and that's also why we think that the end will be updated next" the already existing end update we've gotten: am i a joke to you?
yeah he did do it , I think he is taking a break from that world currently . For anyone interested interested in it the channel name is “LogicalGeekBoy” (as already stated) and the name of the series is “Beyond Logic”
Toycat: "So in survival this would take many many weeks of work, just mining with efficiency 5 pickaxes" *Mining out the entire end* PippenTFS: "Checkmate"
Hi Toycat! For the End project, you could have done it waaaay easier with a simple command block. Something like: /execute @p ~ ~ ~ fill ~10 ~ ~10 ~-10 ~-20 ~-10 air 0 Put the command block somewhere up high, set it to repeat, and boom! Just fly around as it deletes the blocks for you. Under normal circumstances you can just add something like "replace netherrack" (or dirt or whatever you like) at the end and you've got yourself an autominer that only mines a certain block and moves around with you. Is it a bit cheaty? Sure! Does it work amazingly? You betcha! Hope someone finds this useful! ✌️
4:10 I actually discovered recently that, when you respawn the dragon, the pillars regenerate, along with the area about 1 block away from the edge of the pillars, at least in Java. This discovery was made because I was doing some experiments with creepers and ghasts and decided to make a couple of "laboratories" inside two of the pillars, ultimately expanding each with a bit of extra obsidian around the edge. I then later respawned the dragon, and not only were the parts of the "labs" inside the pillars replaced with full obsidian, but all but the outermost walls of my extensions were gone.
I found a world with 4 biomes all connected to each other so I built a house on the intersection with the same wood from each biome (oak, acacia, sandstone (cos there be no tree in desert), and jungle)
The thing that would fix your “let’s make a realistic mountain” challenge would be to have a wider area to base it off of. The skinnier area looks whacky especially as it gets higher
Toycat: Tells everyone that breaking all endstone is impossible Same person who broke all endstone who is the same person who started a BuildTheEarth 1:1: *Let me indroduce myself*
Toycat I think when you went through the portal in end to other end islands and back, the enter pearl missed platform and hit bottom of void, of you went through with water or with Elytra you may just fall on the platform
For the mountain thing, I would triple it but only use the height difference from the floor level. Your problem with the bottom of that mountain just there was that it looks ridiculous because you're looking at all the blocks below that mountain that you wouldn't otherwise see. But imagine just the aboveground blocks being tripled or quadrupled even, that's an insane mountain still that would still look like an organic mountain without the offset.
Mr. Artist, This is youtube. A mere comment. Do I have to look professional? Also It’s fine if I look unprofessional. Check out the RU-vidr “Skeppy” He doesn’t use correct grammar and he is successful, and I’m not asking for your advice. If I was, I would say so. I’m already having a bad day, so don’t make it worse! (Sorry for being mean it’s just that my day is not going well)
Toycat “u shouldn’t mine the pillars in the end and take out the end stone “. Philza “ what’s that mate” Philza” I also built an entire giant water bowl on top of the end island filled with fish, suicidal dolphins, giant fire tree, an giant trident, the end dragons skeleton, a room with different biomes next to a enderman king. The entire thing filled with coral and water blocks. WHILE IN HARDCORE”
Next is either an over world update or new dimension. The end has already beeen updated to include end islands, chorus stuff, end cities, shulker boxes, elytra
I just thought "wow now we actually have infinite endstone!", then I remembered the other part of the end. Edit: Now I feel like we need a witch hut Update.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the things on the screen, like you know when it shows the controls like to mine or to place with r2 and l2 on the side of the screen on console. Also nice video dude keep it up
