Ralin I used to laugh at this joke until I actually lagged hard in a match, my analog stick got stuck tilting to the left, and a haven't faced a cheater yet (at least i think i haven't)
#301 never really saw the time for youtube channels but access is a breath of fresh air on youtube, dave, nathan and especially rob brighten up every week and without them at weekends it just isnt the same. keep up the incredible work
rageoftyrael Yeah he knows that. He just wanted to brag about it while being "modest". Like the kids in school: "Oh no, I totally fucked up this test! An A-? That sucks for sure!"
The average person doesn't feel bad ass playing Dark Souls, lol. Veterans of the series, sure. Everyone else? Nah. I mean, you might feel bad ass once you beat the game, but till then, it's just ass kickin's all around, lmao.
Watchdogs 2 123 Ha ha, Right? Or it could be a T20 Glenn Williams Jr *maniacal laugh* in all honesty though, I really will let someone kill me several times before I ever attack them back, unless of course they are chasing me down whilst I have a crate/product/supply/shipment thingy.
I can honestly say, that the Assassin's Creed multiplayer modes were one of the very few online games I was objectively good at. Might be because I barely even touched the single player campaign and spent all my time playing the multiplayer mode. It's a game you really learn to play with time. You learn how to act, you learn how to stealthily chase a target. You learn how to kill the said target. What really made the multiplayer great in my opinion, is that you had multiple ways of winning. If you were just good at being a killing machine, you could go around murdering everyone, getting a lot of kills, albeit they'd be of low score. Alternatively, and this was my prefered tactic, you'd only make a couple of kills during a game, but you'd get the maximum score from each kill, often overcoming those who killed people recklessly. An incognito poisoning is still such a blast, when they don't even know what hit them before it's too late.
everyone thinks they are gods... then you do a strike and get on a team with 2 incompetent people that literally just stands there and shoots and get killed every few secounds...
I think MK is a more easier game by experience from PvP. I honestly never met someone that raged on it that had a mic but I rarely did PvP... Street Fighter now I never meet a guy with a mic but in my mind I felt like they were telling me to suck a fatty and tell my mother of how a loser I am. *I go cri in the corner now*
its more about practicing to the point that youve memorized chunks of the game. im guessing you mean starcraft (THE ONLY GOOD RTS!) but really when it comes to starcraft you have to know, theres 2 tiers of races which is a great excuse when you lose. Terran. Everything else
Your right, but PS access doesn't include games that aren't on playstation. (Which is my only "issue" with their channel, outsidexbox doesn't mind putting a PS game in their top x's, but we cant have everything ;p)
I love playing Age of Empires 3 online, even though i get mauled 90% of the time (even though i've been playing it off and on for nearly 12 years) :) . (My big problem is i never rush and actually want to play the game, not crush the other players at the smallest opportunity. I'd rather build every unit and upgrade i can (which takes me about two hours), then start fighting, not somehow be up to age 5 in about 30 minutes like some people and already have been fighting for 20-25 of those 30 minutes... :) .)
Starcraft 2... You feel like the LeLouch how plays with his real people like with chess figures... then you go in 1v1 Multiplayer... and you feel like you ARE the chess figures and the opponent plays both sides...
It feels like a punch in the face, no matter where you put your face. I choked on my Pepsi after I heard that joke, its better to a avoid food in any Friday feature.
it's the opposite for me...on master difficulty the single player is ridiculous...the bullets do more damage the enemy never misses. but that's another case of a game where you have to play mp and sp differently. i can't wall run like a maniac jumping all over the place on master unless it's to escape but that's how you gotta do things in mp
well thats just because in some games bots are bs really. you can confuse a human that has to see you, aim and shoot, but an AI thats programmed to just shoot you...
R4_F I'm pretty badass on titanfall 2 multiplayer. I once got like a 7 kill streak, got my titan, got a ton more kills, the other team lost and then me and a few other titans absolutely destroyed the evac ship.
+Kaneki Ken no i know i got a massive killstreak on multiplayer too, (20 pilot kill streak with stim and volt! god that killfeed felt gud, and then i finished it with an execution p.s he was afk lol) and i can bunny hop with the chained wallruns but you feel more badass on singleplayer and then oh look an a-wall pilot with a devotion!
Online multiplayer you have to play many times to find the tricks of the maps. Sure you would be good at other ones if you figure out the good areas to go.
Well, it's really easy. I found the tutorial really annoying. But once I started actually playing, I slaughtered everyone with ease. And that never happens in other games.
I experience this EVERY DAMN TIME I play fighting games. I do okay at first and third person shooters online though. (sneaking around your opponents works way better than trying to take them down head on.)
Dave was great at that marker board in this one! The only thing that could possibly make it better would be Dave happily dancing and spinning up to the marker board, only to very casually and nonchalantly add a tally to the board as he takes his final bow.
I went into multiplayer on destiny(pvp) just to see if i could get some daily marks.......I got them a few hours after starting and i never touched pvp again.
Don't worry, you don't have to be good at Metal Gear 5's online mode, it's utter rubbish. Such a shame that it turned into such a huge pile of online sadness.
Lol ... I see myself in you Rob in this one, I mean, I have hair of course but 😁 ...I liked the street fighter 5 reference of a " special breed" and " fists in your face" 😆...Either way, good job as always, I laughed so hard in thus one 👍🙆 😉
A great list, very funny...and true...MGSV and GTAV, I told my wife, you can be a master...until you play online, then you realize how horrible you are lol
how about the multiplayer at Killzone games especially Killzone 2, have you tried finishing the game in Elite Mode. Well in multiplayer mode that difficulty is increased ten-fold where everyone just becomes a stealthy scout with a shotgun.
I'm pretty good at CoD, but I sucked pretty bad when I started. You just have to keep playing and you'll get better as you go along. If you're interested in getting better, it's always a good idea to look up good builds and such as well.
What about the Dark Souls or Bloodborne series? You feel like a badass when you are laying waste to all of the enemies until someone invades you, then you get your arse handed to you! XD
Oh man, I loved assassin's creed multiplayer. The scoring system favored stealthy approaches, so it was incredibly satisfying on the occasion where I got 3 kills and some loon sprinting about got 10, but I got more points. Also, milling about near an archway and poisoning someone who is being chased by someone else. Favorite way to beat the competition. Admittedly, I did my fair share of sprinting like a loon as well.
wait a minute! The Street Fighter community actually has *_nice_* players who don't insult you when you lose against them? Good. I will be joining them soon. The kind folks in the Virtua Fighter fan base have faded away since that series is now dead. I will enjoy the kind words of the Street Fighter community instead of the hoarse barking coming from the salty dogs within the Tekken and DOA fanbases
Great video Rob, one of the best. MW is also my favourite cod campaign :D I've been playing that game online every year since release on PS3 and yet now having the remaster I'm still only very average at it lol.
My personal addition to the list, although not on PlayStation is Trove. There you are in your Level 15, 20, 30 level character with your power rank in the thousands, destroying even the most powerful of AI opponents in Uber-5, 6, 7 and beyond. Nothing can stop you, until two of your most precious stats (Health regeneration and jump) are thrown out the window and you find yourself dying constantly to special attacks from players just as epic as you.
Crysis 3 Especially the hunter mode. You go from killing thousends of enemies to being on of those frightened enemies, cowardly sitting in a corner you used to hunt
I remember being pretty decent at Uncharted 2 Online back in the day. It was pretty fun! Nobody was REALLY good at that game the way ppl are at something like COD so it was more fair all around. Also I fully believe in that PES Paradox, where the more u play single player, the worse u become at multiplayer lolol so true
also those small moments; When you challenge Caranthir, Eredin and Von Ereic in witcher, The epic music that gives you spine tingling chills when Kratos is chasing down Baldur into Ygdrassil tree too find Atreus after they fell from the sky in their escape from Hellheim*. Epic moments do it guys!!!
Since it's 2017 now, don't forget battlefront 2 (2017) . When you're racking up those battle points in the arcade mode and feel like you could take the world on in the campaign mode... Only to get shot, blown up, shot again, and slashed down by a lightsaber
I suppose you could say this about any game that has a campaign and a multi-player mode, it's basically the unpredictability of other players that make multi-player different, like if you're on campaign and there's someone behind you he will take cover, fire 5 rounds and miss 3 of them but in multi-player he will sneak behind you, pull out a sniper rifle, hard scope you then tea bag your brains out.
As an somewhat elderly gamer :) I can totally see where you come from... The simple answers to all our problems are adjustable difficulty and bots. And especially bots are almost never fully realized or implemented... additional to that, they sanction playing against bots with a crippled version of the game, where you can not level up or just experience a few areas of the full game... I can see, that they do it to keep the multiplayer pool as big as possible, but they should see, realize and accept the reality of players like you and me, who do not have the time, willingness, age or even skill to compete on a level that is still fun for us, really all of us... I am not generalizing, but a 15 year old does not have the time consuming responsibilites of a 40ish gamer, and they compensate the better and faster reflexes often completely by poorer social skills online :) They have skill-(sometimes age-)based leagues in almost every sport, why is gaming still so many steps and years behind? There is a solution, developers! I humbly ask thee...
Max Payne 3 had the opposite effect for me. I played the campaign with free aim on hard and I don't think I've ever died so much in a single player game. Online, however, I was bloody amazing on the free aim servers and I have no idea how.
Pretty good at literally every games multiplayer, even if I'm new to the genre I just adapt. I remember recently playing Uncharted 4 with 15-18 kills and 0 deaths in one match.
I'd say "Dark Souls" but that game emasculates you before or after any kind of multiplayer really.... hmm wait... can I be emasculated as a woman? Am I de-vagina'd or something? Oh well, my point is the same... I'm ok with Dark Souls, then I go human to summon cause I'm having issues with a boss then "dead" due to some jerk. -_-
