Under promise and over deliver Dont do business with disrespectfull people Don't do business with people who try to convince you to sell low. Do business with integrity. Thank you Mr Daniel Ally. I have learned something new.
1. People who dont respect you. 2. People who are always late. 3. People who debate with you. 4. People who are not trustworthy. 5. People who are desperate. 6. Do not invite family and friends in your business. 7. People who undervalue you.
#6 Family, and it was the first verbal lesson I received from real business people. I would also add be shrewd in taking a monetary investment by family/friends, they will AUTOMATICALLY expect they own your business and tell you how to do your business even if they don't know nothing about business or your business. They may even cause your business prospect to fail. Guess who's fault it will be? You!. Why? Thier answer will be 'you should have known everything about business or why are you in business.' Save yourself family headaches and negative accusations. Do without them.
DON'T DO BUSINES WITH: The Groupthinker. The Fearful One. The people that are always late Apathetic Guy. The Sore Loser. Malicious Gossiper. The Apologizer.
Wow!! This is one of my top 10 videos. I have experienced all seven scenarios. You are on point. Keep up the excellent work. Yes, please produce more videos like this one for business owners.
Don't do business with family and friends because they expect too much. They sometimes wants to tell you how much they are going to pay for your products 🤔
Daniel you are 100%right.I have withdraw from people places and situations that not longer serves in Business and Career and I'm doing great.Happy Summer Fall Winter and Last Quarter of 2020
I had a client who I met and I had a strange feeling about her. She was over patronizing. She’d just started working for one of my clients. So I went a step further. I did a google search and a background check and found out she and her husband (both dentists) were transients. Constantly moving from one place to another, with multiple addresses. Turns out when she did send me a case it was so substandard I had to refuse it after I poured all the models and was able to evaluate the case. After seeing it, I returned the models and never saw her again. Thank God!!
Hey Business Man you look lyk a perfect Business person you look Supremely perfection young businessman couch / mentor 'specially my Mentor' "Always make the right Business decisions" - Daniel Ally
This topic reminds me of bad martial arts teachers and bad martial arts students. The low ball thing is something I have definitely seen when looking for a day job in the past. Good info!
People who stall, delay, procrastinate, keep you waiting etc are showing a dead giveaway of anti social personality disorder. They are also testing the water to see how much of a victim that you might turn out to be plus how much they can take control of your life and lord it over you.
One thing I learnt when doing this. Don’t ever trade with people that trick you to sell low! I like to call it “sharking”. Sharking is *extremely common.* Always know the exact price of something you’re selling before going for a trade so you can catch the trader out! I see this happens all the time on the TV Show ‘Pawn Stars’ where they try ever trick in the book to make the item you’re selling to them look worthless to you then throw in a abnormally low offer to catch you out - the smart ones walk away from this trap!
We do business with family members and it working very well for years now. The problem is not the family member or the friend but the person’s mentality period!
Hi Daniel, thank you so much for this video. I needed this.... I would like to know how to go about getting an existing vlogger to assist in marketing my business
An Galveston Island Texas Police Departments Is Bad Business. An Texas City Independent School District Is Bad Business. An Saveing Money In Any Local Bank Is Bad Business. An Power Of Attorney Is Bad Business....
BUSINESS. Great presentation Daniel! It was very insightful. My biggest takeaways was "never do business with family & friends" and "never do business with people who are untrustworthy".
I value all those advices and thank you for them ❤🙏🏻 but there is some point which is half to half. For example point about family bussiness. Artist Akiane Kramarik is painter and her whole family is in bussiness of her. And I know more such examples and people and some of them I know personally (Akiane no but others). I think that it depends on their character. That good character person is always good for bussiness. Conversely no. So there is maybe time and space for conversation with family and judgement how they are about it.
I have worked in retail for years, there are too many people if it was my choice,I would not do business with because they are rude, trying to practically give everything way, don't tip because they are stingy, unfortunately here in the 21st century way too many bad quality, selfish, garbage people exist unlike the last century!!!!!By the way,how many cuss words did I use!!!!
I think (7) is something Indie Game developers really need to learn. They're always trying to get more customers by putting the price down, but if you put the price down, then people are only going to take your product seriously if they've heard some incredible testimonials or you have an incredible brand. That strategy works for big studios trying to get one last payday on an older release, like when EA knocked SimCity 4 down to $5, but it doesn't typically work for an Indie studio. In reality, asking more can actually be free advertising. If I really like sports games, and I only have so much time in my busy schedule to both consider and play all the games available, am I going to look at the cheap games, or the expensive ones? The expensive ones of course - my time is worth something too! Furthermore, what happens when someone sorts the list on Steam by price? If they sort it low to high, they'll probably see free games, and there's only so much room at the bottom to compete, but if they sort it high to low, it's very easy for one game to put itself above another or at least in the running.
Always ask how many people have to decide to purchase product or services before proceed; once you know how many must decide; then only do presentation when all the decisions makers are presented, so YOU can answer all questions; and to be sure whole presentation is told to the missing one. Maybe can do a virtual meeting or conference call; physically present, some situations is a must particularly if a lot of details involved. Never accepted “we will tell missing one” or “missing one will go along with what I say.” Or wife interested and he wants to a game on TV, reschedule or move on. If they do not tell you at start others involved and you asked; then move on unless, you like drama.
Daniel, you have said more than a library full. Instruction, experience or reading. This is an updated instruction wiser things to do when engaging people & situations.
