My early sign of a stroke was numbness of half my nose and tongue. I went to bed and the next morning I had weakness on my left side. I had a dual mix stroke. I have completely recovered..

Thanks for sharing your story! It's so helpful for others to know about the different stroke symptoms. I wouldn't have thought numbness in your nose and tongue could be a sign of a stroke, but it's awesome that you fully recovered! Your experience shows how important it is to notice unusual symptoms. Thanks for spreading awareness-it might help someone get help in time. Wishing you all the best!

I shared this video. I went through about 4 of these signs and I wish I had been more aware of what was happening. Fortunately, when the stroke hit, with the help of my husband and the amazing EMTs in our community, I made it to the hospital within an hour and got the 'shot' that made the difference in my recovery. I have recovered 100%. Thank you for doing this video.

I lost my only daughter to a haemorrhagic stroke two weeks before her 29th birthday. She had all the symptoms and despite my insistence that she should have a brain scan, her husband didn't agree to a scan and she passed away on her second major stroke. She left behind a new born baby and a seven year old. I still cannot forgive myself for not taking a stand and getting the scan done after the first episode.

So very sorry about your daughter. X My daughter was 42 when she had an intracerebral haemorrhage which started off with a terrible headache 4 days before ( which we now now was the start) a stroke was the last thing on our minds. It was caused by really high blood pressure which went untreated. Nearly 2 years later she still has paralysis on her right side. (Arm, hand and foot). We are so fortunate to still have her with us.

I had a halo around the light on my desk, i went to make something to eat, it was 430pm I had not eaten anything. I started diner, and quickly shut everything down. Then I went into seeing stars, vertigo, my sight went out first on both sides, then it shifted to the left side. I went into the bathroom, looked to see if I could see, if it was on the outside, nope, then went into a what to do mode. Well my bottle of aspirins, was in the drawer in front of me. I took 2 aspirins, as soon as they kicked in, it all stopped. I did call the doctor, the next morning and went in for testing, everything was ok. I was told it did appear to be a Tia.

After 12 strokes, 2 of which cerebellar, the last 4 basal ganglia, learn from me: headaches in the back of the head or neck, should immediately see you having your blood pressure tested! And go to the emergency room. Also: don't eat hot, spicy food as that can trigger Atrial Fibrillation, and result in CVA/stroke. Stroke is traumatic, seek counseling if available. I ended up with PTSD after a dozen strokes over thirty-odd years.

My grandma experienced 2 strokes. The first one was minor and caused some paralysis on her left side, but the second one was much more severe, and she was never the same afterward. It was really hard to see her in that condition. She passed away 20 years ago and now resting in peace.
@IncrediblyHealthy

I'm so sorry about your grandma. It must have been really tough to watch her go through that, especially with the second stroke being so severe. Losing someone you love is never easy, and the impact of a stroke can be devastating. It's understandable that those memories still stick with you, even 20 years later. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing she's at peace now. Sending you a big virtual hug. Remember to take care of yourself, too. 💚

Great video. My husband had a severe TIA 7 yrs ago. Boy was it really scary, he was fine one minute and the next he couldn't talk or move. Thank goodness when at home he said his left arm was hurting him. I took him to the ER, while waiting for them to call him back the rooms . It hit him so fast, he was life flghted from our small hospital to a bigger hospital in Las Vegas. I was told a TIA is an alert to maybe having a major Stroke one day.

Two years ago, I had sudden and I mean SUDDEN diizziness and vomiting. I could barely see the numbers on my phone to dial 911. I never "saw" any of the 4 paramedics which were standing in my apartment and taking to me. I was so dizzy and repeatedly vomiting in my apartment, in the ambulance, and in the ER even AFTER several doses of anti emetics were given. I was tested as a stroke patient with every scan you can think of and observed overnight night in the hospital. Thankfully everything turned out to be normal and it was just an extreme case of Vertigo. I hope I never experience anything like that again. Just awful.
@IncrediblyHealthy

Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever in life. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. See John 1:12 for this please. Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
