I haven't been a subscriber for years but I have really been getting into the channel lately and can say Rob and everyone else at the channel have become absolute favorites of mine. On the last point in the vid, playing PS4 for the last few years has felt like playing PSOne again. Especially 2017/2018. I was worried for a few years there that I was burning out on games, but PS4 brought all of the excitement back.

Hands down my favorite RU-vidr. He’s able to illustrate his words in such an entertaining and professional way that he just holds you’re attention and a 13 minute video is just not enough.

7 PlayStation worlds we would hate to visit.

Number 7 hit me dead on; it's exactly that for me when thinking about the PS4. I haven't felt the need or the loss of gaming due to adult responsibilities from any console since my mother bought my first one in 1989. The way I talk about games is different, but the way I feel about them is the same as it was then. You're as old as you feel, and I feel young thanks to the titles I get to play (or try to) on PS4.

I remember the UK launch day, November 29th 2013. I walked into GAME in Doncaster and bought my PS4 with an extra DualShock 4, a vertical stand and a dual charging station along with Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Killzone: Shadowfall, Knack, FIFA 14, Need For Speed Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Call Of Duty: Ghosts. That was a good day.

This video just nailed every point, and each point I could directly relate to. Thanks Rob and team for the love, care and enthusiasm you all have. I can't say I've grown up with PS, it would be truer to say it has grown with me and my kids. My kids from toddlers along with the PS1, to teens and adults with the PS4. I think it's fair to say we are a PlayStation family.

I would really love to see *7 ps3* (or earlier) *games we wish we could play on ps4.* I wonder what sorts of old games you cant play on the current console that youd want to.

I bought my ps4 almost 2 years ago. I've been a playstation access subscriber for almost 1,5 year. They are the best years of my life. I enjoyed the community, the videos and ofc the games. Thank you playstation access and mostly thank you ps4!!!

Number 7 exactly describes my feeling with Witcher 3 right now. I've finally, finally gotten round to playing Blood and Wine and I have the feeling you described of 'coming home'. I always knew Toussaint would be pretty, and etherial but my god the nostalgia. It actually feels like I'm playing a remastered version of the outskirts of Vizima and the village by the lake in Witcher 1. From the Archaeospores and Barghests to the scenery and music it feels like I'm right back at the beginning rather than the end. The grand master feline armour looks just like the armour worn in Witcher 2 and as a whole, this expansion has captured the very essence of nostalgia. Both B&W and HoS have moments where I feel I've jumped back into the books. There are even parts that look exactly as I imagined when first reading (the same way some people said the films exactly captured how they imagined LOTR). I'm about 30 hours in and yet I've barely started the main quest. Instead, I've just been exploring and taking in every single experience I can.

Horizon Zero Dawn did that it was tremendous you are absolutely correct. Your positivity although slightly cheesy at times is so refreshing and pleasant and it makes my days better I put your Friday features on repeat when I'm down even though I've seen them all just because they make me feel good and they make me feel good about being a member of this community a gamer a PS4 owner and thank you for all that you do all of you at PlayStation access

This was beautifully written, especially the end. I totally agree with you about that sense of wonder, even though I've been only gaming on PS4 for 3 years now? I'm really grateful for PS4 because it has helped me and my grandma come together and share games and make great memories.

I really appreciate videos like this. Sometimes I take for granted how good the PS4 has been since its release but I mean I live in a house with 3 PS4s and it’s been a massive bonding experience for both my girlfriend and roommate, and being someone who used to be the only person who plays games - not only just in my family but even in my friend group - to now being so close to other people literally probably wouldn’t have happened were the PS4 not so good. Probably a bit hyperbolic, but honestly not much. The PS4 exclusives have been some of the best games I’ve ever played - my first tattoo came from Bloodborne.

Uncharted 4: AMONG thieves lol

PS4 is certainly one of my favourite consoles ever. And as Rob was saying in the last point - it's really brought the joy and excitement back into gaming. I'm 34 and since I got my PS4 back in 2014, it really has rekindled that love of gaming more than the 360 etc did.

I'm also proud to play. So happy that we still have those moments of awe that titles like MGS, Tekken 3 and FF VII gave me almost 2 decades ago.It's awesome how Rob manage to appeal to our Hobby/way of life in an almost philosophical way.

I loved the Playstation as long as I can remember. In 2011 I bought an Xbox 360 and used it maybe twice. Playstation on the other hand ist so familiar to me and has been a part of my life for more than eighteen years.

That last point got me in the feels. On a less sappy note, thanks to PSVR my non gamer sister was able to finish RE7 on her own. I, of course, enjoyed every jump and scream and made sure to record it and edit some on SHAREfactory to show off to the family at Thanksgiving. PS4, you are the best lol.

I know its been 2 years since this was released, but I loved Aloy's Theme playing at the end. That song still warms my heart as I remember Rost's care, love & sacrifice. I love HZD so much I played it over 500 hrs in 2020. Now I am waiting for HFW (im)patiently.

i love the way how you talk about games at the end.. non-gamers would never understand why people like us would rather sit home and play a game instead of doing something else. those who aren't really into gaming will never understand the the experience we get when playing games especially those titles we love. it's not only a means of escape but more importantly a way to enrich ourselve's as we endulge in things we give our full and undivided attention to.

Ps4 pro is my first sony console and that's because of the psvr. I'm a very proud owner of the ps4 pro and being able to play games without having to rely on the Internet, easily upgrade memory storage, cool controller with centre pad which has that light bar that changes colors, plug in headphones into the controller, oh and a awesome amount of games to loose your self into. It's a gaming machine thru and thru with a passion. Did I mention VIRTUAL REALITY!
