I buy my jeans at Nordstrom Rack now, and I really only need 2-3 pairs in my closet. I bought $350+, 100% cotton, high-rise, wide leg Mother jeans for $79 a couple weeks ago. I believe they're from last season, but they look super current. I wish I could find good quality at all price points, but it seems that disappeared after the Recession hit. I used to have a closet full of Old Navy clothes, but I won't even go there anymore. It's sad because I still have a few pieces from '09 that have stood the test of time.

I purchase from Quince, Banana Republic, Kut From The Kloth, Nordstrom, and Wit and Wisdom jeans. Sometimes J. Crew and Loft. I will not pay $1,600 for boots and $200-300 and up for one piece of clothing. I prefer the more affordable options for things.

Thanks, Monique! I appreciate your kind words. I've been doing Tracy Anderson Method (metamorphosis) 6 days a week - plus walking the dog and skiing, and I've also had to switch to a pretty restrictive diet in an effort to heal my gut. Cutting out things like sugar, gluten, and dairy to name a few... has really decreased inflammation that I had. I'm adding things back in as I can tolerate them, but doing what I can to heal my body and feel my best as I'm approaching the big 5-0 this summer!! xo

Happy day when I see a longer Busbee upload! Another transitional trend I'd love to see you address is pants under dresses/skirts. I rocked this effortlessly back in the '90s, but now at age 49, I just feel too frumpy. Is it possible to still rock pants under dresses and if so how to use what I already own? Thanks, Erin!
