7 Western States in 7 days! 

After a great stay at the Vineyards campground and RV park in Grapevine, Tx, we hopped in the Super C headed to the Medical Center RV “Resort” in Houston, TX. This was the second planned stop in Texas - as we planned our trip to coincide with a Rice University home football game (our nephew Ethan is a freshman on the team.) Ashley’s brother-in-law was also in town for the game, and though a short visit, we were able to grab a bite and a beer in Rice Village and catch up with the Brougham’s the night before the game. We had a good time checking out the festivities around Rice Stadium before kickoff…and though the home team were defeated, it was an exciting game and we were happy we went!
The morning after is when we started on our 2500 mile trek home to Southern Oregon. We stopped at a couple Harvest Hosts: The Backstory Brewery in Sulpher Springs, Texas and Circle’s Pecans & Country Store in McCune, Kansas. Our travels took us to the NSA RV Products factory where we were able to get a tour and some parts four our flat towing system - this will be covered in a future video! We boondocked at the Boot Hill Casino, and continued west to The Views RV Park in Delores CO. Our last stop before home was an amazing dispersed camping area outside of Ely, NV. It was a great end to an epic trip!
We can’t wait to begin our new chapter in 2024 when we will sell the farm and head out on the road for good!
