Scott and Ashley here! 👋🏻 We’ve been married since 2012, and started out with a truck camper. After 11 years (and two LARGE dogs), we decided it was time for more room! In 2021, we purchased a “new to us” Dynamax Force HD 37TS Super C Motorhome, and haven’t looked back.
As we hit “middle age” …and are zooming past it quickly - we realize time doesn’t slow down. We had a 50 acre farm with a neat old farmhouse that had constant “projects” and upkeep needed. We loved our place… but it became more of a burden and we found ourselves looking forward to each new RV adventure more and more!
So….. in February 2024, WE SOLD THE FARM!! This summer, we will load up our Super C with our “toad” (along with the Harley Davidson Motorcycle)…. We will hit the road full time with our 2 dogs AND 2 cats 🙀 to WANDER this beautiful country of ours! Be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell 🔔 - you’re not going to want to miss a thing!
Its sad that the responses from Dynamax are not timely. I understand they have may have a lot on their plate but it doesn't take much time to at least respond and acknowledge receipt and that they will be in touch by a certain time. Glad they finally started responding. Thanks for sharing.
Wow y'all do a lot of miles in a day. We try to keep our drive days to 4 hours or less whenever possible. The Iowa 80 truck stop is on my list of things to go visit. As a former truck driver I want to see all the old trucks they have there. See you soon!
Yes, we don’t mind putting down miles right now, our rig is really comfortable to travel in. However, once we get full time we are going to learn to slow down and do shorter travel days and longer stays.
It really was great, Chris Ledoux Days has been something I wanted to attend since it began. I am so glad we finally got to go. We will definitely be going again. Thanks for the comment!
Nice video. Admittedly, we’ve only been to one eastern and one western rally but while we met some great folks at both, we too loved the vibe of last year’s rally in UT. And on that note…we look forward to seeing you both in Granby. 😊
Great to meet you too! I sorry I haven’t emailed you the information about the bay insulation yet, I will try to get it to you soon. Hope to see you around.
DANG, 3 is nap time not travel time LOL!!! Good ol Winnemucca, we have stayed there a couple times. Hmm, we have been through Dodge City a few times but have never stayed at that casino, we will keep that in mind. Have fun and travel safe.
lol - yeah, 3pm start wasn’t ideal! 😅 We love casinos for overnights. We aren’t gamblers but will usually grab a bite to support them and they usually have pretty inexpensive options 🍔 Thanks for watching!
I love that you’s guys do the "Super C" sighting, that’s fun! I’m waiting for somebody that recognizes their rig to shout out. My wife and I are looking at a 2021 Dynamax DX3 34KD here in the next six months or so. Would be kühl to see you folks out there!😊 Keep on Truckin’ and keep the greasy side down!
Thank you for the comment! I can’t wait until someone sees their rig! It is fun to point out the Super C’s because we feel they are still a rarity… and there are so many manufacturers I hadn’t heard of! We did have a 1492 rig we spotted on I-40, then saw the company post the same one on FB at the Mecum Auction - and we shared our sighting. They thought that was cool! We wanted a 34KD but found our 37TS instead. You’ll love it!! Please share if/when you get it!
You all just passed us on i75 in London, Ky! Seen your sticker on the back of your rv and thought we’d check out your channel! 😊 Hope you all have safe travels!
Great travel log guys. Very enjoyable. We just did a similar trip to KC MO. for our oldest granddaughter's high school graduation. Would not care to live there but visited a fantastic WW1 museum and federal reserve museum as well as enjoying the graduation.
Where do you’s guys put your Harley when you’re traveling; if you take it with you? Also my better half and I are planning on full timing next year and are looking at a Dynamax and perhaps a Thor Pasadena. BTW you have a new follower! 😊
Thanks for the support! 😊 We are working on a solution for the motorcycle - we have a Neodyne motorcycle ramp/loading system that puts the Harley in the bed of our F350. We set the pickup to flat tow - but want to do more test runs to ensure it is ready to tow safely. We do have a l YT short on the initial setup of the lift if you want to check that out! Thanks for watching!
@@WildBlueWanderers Wow I like that Neodyne lift, looks like it would be a great option for my Jeep Gladiator! Definitely going to check out your RU-vid short. Can’t wait for more content!😊
Love our us import S grand cherokee not sure about the new electric.... less than 30 miles for a charge..... that would not get us to the nearest city..... think you have some great plans for the new "homestead" a question. Do you have to get a new driving license if you move states???? In the uk you just get one license and it is good for all counties. ??
The Jeep is hybrid so it runs on gasoline also, you can choose between modes. And yes, each state has it’s own drivers license process. So you have to get licensed in the state you live in. Thanks again for watching!
I have several friends that moved from California to Tennessee and they absolutely love it. I would love to come and visit Tennessee someday. It's so beautiful. So happy for you guys.
thanks for the tour very interesting. Couple of questions though . Just wondering if those framing bars have any insulation in them and are you able to purchase one without slides . I'm always worried about those slides
The aluminum framing has wood inside for a “backer” to help support things attached, but no insulation that I saw. On a humid morning you can see the condensation lines following the aluminum frame so I believe that is due to the heat transfer. I don’t know if Dynamax offers a non-slide version. Thanks for watching, hope it helps and feel free to ask any other questions. Scott
We put a extendastay on one of our units and if we ever decide to spend a winter on our property in Oregon we will add one to our current unit as well. Have a great week.
