How many repair bots can you make for 20k gold instead of buying this mount to vendor things I wonder. Edit: the portable mailbox was also mentioned in the video. Just mail your bank alt the greys to vendor.
It does get a discount for exalted, kind of silly to not mention that in a video about SAVING gold, however it’s pretty dang silly to suggest a 20k mount is saving you money at all.
If you are going to suggest that buying a 20k mount is going to save you money (it isn’t) you could at least note that the exalted rep will knock a few thousand off of the cost.
comprehension must be hard. he’s not suggesting them buy it, he’s clarifying to players which mount has a vendor and telling them that if they want the vendor mammoth, not to waste their time or money on the other mammoth mounts.
I wouldn't count 250g down from 5k gold (to 4750) as a "massive discount" plus needing exalted with a faction. As for the other ones, mount/skill cost, sure. EDIT: I was wrong here.
They will re-work the emblem system, only keeping 2 active. Probably Emblems of Heroism from dungeons and 'older raids', and Emblem of Valor from the newest raid released.
But the whole point of separated emblems for each tier was to balance the amount of maximum emblems per week, to the cost of items. I.e. in each raid, you can earn only set amount of emblems (cause only bosses drop them). But Trial of the Crusader has only 5 bosses, while in Ulduar there is 13 bosses. So emblems per week in these raids are quite different. It will be very unequal rates of farming them after each raid release. I mean, for Ulduar raiding you can get 26+26 emblems of valor each week. But when raiding in ToC - you will get 10+10+10+10 at best. And also, if only 2 emblems are available - then after ICC fresh 80 can farm Emblems of Heroism in heroics or Naxxramas - and buy ToC-level items with it. Not very good, imho. ICC already has many ways to quickly equip yourself without doing all previous raids - we don't need another one, that will be even easier. Most importantly - people will be preparing Emblems of Heroism to the cap before each raid release. So after release - they will buy those epics, that also became available with Emblems of Heroism, instead of Valor. Not fair for those who spent Valor emblems for the same gear just yesterday.
Okay, nevermind me. I totally forgot that each patch removed any previous Emblems, replacing them with next one. So for ICC times, you only had Frost and Triumph. So ehm, generally they are not even reworking anything - "only 2 emblems" policy was also used back then in wotlk.
@@Sornemus your last point is irrelevant, every PvP season the gear downgrades from arena points to honor. The fact that you didn't have those items for the entire tier is also the point as well. Sure they get the stuff day 1 but they haven't been BiS for the whole tier. Also I wonder if when a new tier comes out that your emblems downgrade? Valor turns to heroism, heroism to gold?
wrong, the amount of time it saves travelling is immense and insane, and having to travel for those hours instead of continuing farming and landing a amazing BoE epic that you would otherwise have missed pays if it off quickly, even if you just count mining/herbing/ eternal farming it pays it self off relatively quick assuming you farm very efficiently and at a amazing speed.
@@shanehodges6980 particularly mob grinding, the classes are so powerful youll be waiting for mob respawns anyways, and at 280% flight, all of the best farming spots have a vendor in less than 30 seconds flight distance. which means mobs wont respawn in that time lol
Great video, thanks for the tips! Do you know if you could mail the heirlooms to characters on a different WoW account on the same battlenet account? I would assume so but i dont remember how they worked back then.
What's UP again Toy! Finally you have something I can show some support with ;-) If i could do more brutha I would however given I have a newborn daughter now, money has gotten a bit tighter than expected haha. However here is a little something! Keep up the good videos man and when I get settled with this new addition to my life, I'll help you out again!
Wow! Thank you so much!! I'm at a loss for words, I appreciate it so much. Congratulations on your daughter, that's a wonderful thing. I got so excited seeing the support you gave me, I really appreciate it, it means a lot. I hope you have a great weekend my friend. :)
Recommending to spend 20k doesn't fit this video. Ok you might save time after the fact, but spending 20k is not saving money lol. Also the summoning stones DO have level requirements. Encountered this earlier today when we couldn't summon a level 16 party member to SFK
Also, @2:41 "Don't expert riding, don't buy, you know, any flying or epic flying. Just wait for Wrath of the Lich King; it's going to save you a bunch of gold to do it that way." But be aware of a weakness of doing that: One cannot level their Netherwing reputation without epic flying, which means that if they want to save money while still wanting their Netherwing, they will have to do it during the pre-patch. So one may lose time while doing that and may not get their mount in time for the Lich King.
That's something I hated about Wrath. Heirloom gear. It'd be nice if they removed it from classic and didn't set fire to the entire leveling process by making it super fast *and* braindead easy via letting you 1 shot everything.
The faction discount for riding is incorrect about 3.2.2 patch. it was 3.2 and it was not orgrimmar and stormwind. It is the Warsong Offensive and Valiance Expedition factions in Northrend and its a 600g discount.
@@pedrikebh It's probably the only saving grace to this video, nothing else even had anything to do with saving gold. So the whole saving "a LOT" of gold just flies out the window right there. Anyway these things are all stuff you can find easily in the patch notes or on the official announcement-pages, Wowhead, etc. Every RU-vidr now is just repeating the same things over and over pretending it's different. It's condescending. For me there was a golden age of youtubers that really put out their own little niche things and discoveries, but those days are mostly long gone.
