Seeing her baby pictures in the hospital breaks my heart. I couldn’t imagine seeing my baby like this. Such a strong mother and daughter. I wish the absolutely best for them in this life. 💕
My younger brother is in her class at school. And every day he comes home and says how inspirational she is. I grew up in this area and I would find donation boxes for her and I would have so much joy to donate to her. This girl is amazing and beautiful no matter how she looks.
I understand where you’re coming from with the idea that she doesn’t have a disability because she has learned how to do a variety of activities. But, commenting that she doesn’t have a disability only further drives the idea that disability is a bad thing, which isn’t true at all! While being a quadriplegic has its own unique challenges, she is an example of how you can live a fulfilling life as a disabled individual. Just something to keep in mind! :)
It's amazing how children have an innocence in them. Which I had to wear because they still have and uncorrupted view of the world and are able to still truly just believe. I think as adults life can throw things at you and can wear you down. And it makes you forget something so simple yet so important is this to believe in yourself. What a lovely story what a beautiful girl. After this year I have lost so many loved ones it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling to see her spirit.
May God bless this little angel. I was a gymnast in my school days and it's not easy but this beautiful child has made it look like it's a piece of cake🙏🙏🙏
I ain't being shitty i swear i just had a thought. Like this story is SO incredibly sweet. But it's only like this because these people were able to come up with what they needed to give this girl the life she has. I wonder, what happens to the kids whose families just CAN'T acquire the funds or attention to get the funds for the surgeries or prosthetics? Like, if this was a poor family, that kid probably would be a torso wrapped in a blanket sitting in a chair in a corner while an older sibling who had to drop out of school spoons food into the kids mouth until mom comes home at 1am from finishing her third shift of the day. Just wish there was more that could be done for those kids too because they really all deserve the same chances and opportunities. Imagine your kid asking you "Why does that girl get nice fake limbs and I can't have any? I want to run and jump too."
I know exactly what you mean and I completely agree with you. There are so many children who live in rural areas who are abandoned who don’t get this kind of attention and money to help save them. Of course it can’t go to everyone, at least it went to this brave adorable little girl. You really thought above and beyond about this and I’m glad you shared it because it is true.
@@D4ISYisCOOL I dont have the means to make a charity my dude. I don't even have a computer, just a refurbished android phone. In fact, I dont have many things that most people have. I qualify for food stamps but I dont collect them because I feel that other people need them more than I do.
@@jozefivanov600 this little girl although a quad amputee has a lot more in life then starving children all over the world. Child brides, kids in slums, children as young as 3 working in China, kids getting trafficked, kids in the Phillipines living in cemeteries.. kids growing up in families of satanic ritual abuse.. unfairness runs deep.
What a wonderful blessing she is. Just look at her Strength & determination to reach her goal & beyond. Such an inspiration. May God bless you ALL the day's of your life little Angel 👼. I know your parents are proud of you 😇🙏
These two are so strong. To be a mother and have to experience your child losing something so vital and then learning to except and come to terms with that must have been difficult. She has a wonderful mother and I love that she dreams so big and I pray that each of them come true
My daughter had meningitis with 3 years old in Germany. As our doctor sent us to the hospital for her fever was to high . My daughter layed in a bed for one week .And when she finally opened her eyes again they were not blue anymore. We are so glad she survived without any complications
My high school Spanish teacher's daughter had meningitis too. She had to have both of her legs below the knee amputated to save her life and she is on prosthetics for the rest of her life.
You are a beautiful young lady, Harmonie-Rose! You will be a fantastic star at whatever you choose to do in life ❤God Bless and thank you for making me smile 🥰
Oh my God I absolutely love her attitude and perseverance. She will amount to great accomplishments in the near future. Love her positive attitude and beautiful smile. Geart parents for not stopping her talents and passions. God Bless. Blessings from a Chilean Latina woman in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada 🇨🇱 🇨🇦 😘 🥰. 💜💙🦋😷. Stay safe everyone worldwide against the Covid-19 virus 😷
My lord she’s getting so big! The last time I saw her she was only a baby still and couldn’t talk. She had gotten a American girl doll that also had amputated limbs, I wonder if she can be a candidate for limb transplant surgery in children, I only know of 1 child named Zion who had both hands and legs amputated at two from also meningitis, he was given donor hands at the age of seven being the first child in medical history to receive the treatment, now 12 his new hands grew into his hight and can now write, feed and dress himself, hit a baseball with a bat and play basketball, hopefully she is given that chance as well to help her with gymnastics and other daily things, however if she chooses not to she still is a amazing inspiration to many children and people around the world
To those commenting that she was not vaccinated I checked and she had meningitis B. The vaccine was not around 6 years ago I believe and I don’t know about the UK but in the US it’s not given to infants here just teenagers and college aged students
@@efilwv1635 This is my take on it:Due to Harmony being a baby when this happened she was too young to realize that this was a big permanent change in her life and because of that it doesn’t affect her the way it might an adult. I speak from experience because as someone who was born with a condition that limits my mobility to an extent and results in me needing a wheelchair at times(as well as other chronic issues) and like Harmony almost didn’t survive on more than one occasion I might add;I have always been this way and that is that,I do what I have to find ways to handle challenges I face.As far as this beautiful little girl is concerned she’s more worried about being in the gym and achieving her dream than she is about not having limbs, she seems beyond happy with what she’s got and has adapted to everything around her finding ways to do things that work for her which I have also done my entire life. So instead of being sad be happy for this precious soul because from what I can tell she sure as heck isn’t sad about the way things are or having a pity party. I’m sure she has times where she struggles and becomes frustrated (I know I do)the moments that Harmony is loving being alive and having fun with family around her are FAR more important and happy more than the sad moments,it’s all in perspective. Harmony seems like she has a great family and friends who support her and that’s a big part of it as well and her belief in herself that she can do as much as she wants if she keeps going, this was a big deal for me as well growing up and I have amazing parents who never let me think I was less than anybody else. So yes some have more trials than others and we don’t get to choose what we’re handed but I believe this should be a lesson to all about courage love and happiness not pain or sadness she’s here and thriving THAT is what counts most.
I cannot fathom why people would rather have this happen to their baby than to have their child immunized to it. I guarantee this mother was an anti vaxxer before she realized how horrible her decision was. I cant watch this video and see that awful mother talk about her child as if she was completely blind sided. This is exactly what happens when people think they know more than people with doctorates in medicine. This is such a sad case. I feel so bad for that girl. All of this could've easily been prevented.
