Very nice and elaborated video presentation by you regarding 70mai pro dashcam with GPS .I have ordered this product on Amazon today .Let's see how it will work on my car..Regds Dr s k from India 🇮🇳
I have a question about the parking surveillance. How is it able to record if your car isn't turned on? Sorry if it's a dumb question i just stumb upon this product.
It's a good camera. Excellent picture quality and build quality. The clear film, it didn't hold very long, maybe a month, so I just mounted the bracket directly to my windshield. This dash cam is user friendly compared to some others I've used. It also seems to have a longer battery life than others when not plugged into a power source. Great investment. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it in my defense. Hope to keep it that way!
Hi can you please help me with this product what i want to ask does it work without internet connection when your not in car use 24 hours in parking i mean recorde evry movement thanks
@@tigerlionking-lm7zp It will record when your car is off. As long as you have it set up for parking surveillance which can be done thru the settings. No internet connection is needed. However, it will only record if the g-force sensors detect movement of the car. You can set the g-force detection to low, medium or high. Other than that, it won't continuously record without a continuous power supply (driving/car running).
@@Rey_R_ Ok. So, the 70mai has continuous loop recording meaning that you can record video either 1, 2 or 3 minutes. The SD card will automatically overwrite older videos as it fills up so you don't have to go in and manually delete them to free up space. Now, emergency recording (when g-force is detected such as a crash) will be locked/saved automatically and will NOT be overwritten. This camera I believe saves 30 seconds prior to incident. You will have to manually go in and delete them to free up space. If you use a 64gb or 128gb micro SD card class 10 or greater it will record a lot before the looping kicks in so you won't lose the most recent videos just prior to the accident. You can download videos to your phone via the app and connecting to the cameras wifi.
Hi brother I have the duel channel dash cam Pro plus and I am using 70mai hard wire kit. But I can't set up the camera for 24 7 parking monitoring. After enabling parking surveillance mode it says " enter parking surveillance mode after 5 min" after ignition off and it never starts. It only starts recording when the ACC is on.
hello takes me out of a doubt, because this camera at maximum resolution is the video not enlarged? it’s kind of short with dark stripe on the right and left ... you can zoom in at maximum resolution 2592 x 1944. Thank you waiting for a reply !
Hi, I'm a total noob to dash cams.. But i want to buy 2 for my wife's car (front and back) I have 2 noob questions I hope u can help me with 1. How does it record in case of an accident? Impact, do I press a button to save or does it record on loop? 2. Can u connect 2 to your phone to control? Again, sorry for the noob question
Hi, great video! I have the same dashcam but when I try and play it back on my computer, the video freezes with only audio ca be heard. I replaced the SD card, but same issue! Any suggestions? Thanks!
Awesome Video, Clear and to the point. For some reason I have mine set up through the app, but I've added the Car Power fuse kit so the. Camera always had power to it, for some reason even though it has power to it all the time, I cannot connect via WiFi when I am inside my house and my car is only 10 feet away, Can I connect via WiFi is Camera is off but has power to it via fuse kit? Because so can't for some reason , Also when Camera is in Surveillance mode, does it only record and accident or will it record when someone is passing by near my car? Its not really Surveiling anything if it's not recording motion as well , I understand it's suppose to record on impact or should I say After impact 🤬 I bought this Camera more for Surveillance than accidents as most of us usually do, if this camera doesn't record Motion having power via Fuse box, it's a waste of money, because it also records after impact and not before, defeating your cam of having video evidence 😢 You answers would be helpful. Thanks again for your video.
Hi, can anyone tell me if there is something that I can set on camera in regards to the formatting of the video since when I am watching the saved videos it’s all in 59 sec videos… is there some setting for formatting or is it the wrong memory card that I have, please help!!! Br H.
I have this dashcam as well. It's better than I expected, but the compression is kinda garbage. At high speeds with trees, the vision become very blurry. Not good for capturing license plates.
Hello! your video helped me a lot, thank you! Can you tell me how to see what I filmed on the PC? The cable does not recognize it and if I use microSD directly I can copy but I can't see the videos. And how can I see the video continuously like in youre video? Can you help me please?
I purchased the GPS module, but why when I download the video file to my phone, the GPS coordinates and speed are not displayed, while if I see the video from the 70 app I can never view them?
@@MrChubhub22 You meant you placed the blutack in between the gps module and dashcam? I noticed that when the contacts between the two are loose, ADAS becomes glitchy.
@@krakent8791 i had an issue of it bumping out of position over speed bumps or potholes so i wedged a piece of blutac in between the gps piece and camera it created a tiny gap but seems to hold the contacts in where it should be and i havent had any issues with the gps contacts anymore. but i do agree this cam does have issues like i did the update and cant seem to get the speed of travel to be displayed on the camera or the app.
Hi there, does anyone know how to setup the camera so it doesnt stop recording? I mean, the video duration that i can choose is 1, 2 or 3 minutes. The problem is that for each duration, it has a pause with the same time. I mean, if the video has 1 minute, the camera does not record for 1 minute. I gone thru all the configurations and didnt find how to have a non stop recording. Is it possible? Two times I needed the video, and they were not recorded for being on this f*cking interval.
@Çalı Çırpı Yes once the sensor is triggered, it will record 1 minute video. Then, it will go back to standby mode again. The sensor will be triggered when it senses vibration(eg: knocking the car, open/close the door, big truck passing by causing vibration to your car). It won't trigger if you just gently touch your car.
@Çalı Çırpı Min 20 minutes means the sensor will be activated 20 minutes after the camera is turned off (you turn off the car engine). But the recording is only 1 minute each time the sensor is triggered. I've tested it. I left it overnight and the next morning when I turned it on there was a 1 minute video recording of a garbage truck collecting garbage at night. I guess the big garbage truck produced roaring sound from its engine thus causing vibration that triggered the sensor. I set the sensor sensivity to High.
@Çalı Çırpı Yes. It will record a 1 minute video each time the sensor got triggered. It's not going to record straight up to 20 minutes because the battery capacity is small. There is an option to install the buck line for your dashcam though. Try to google it.
@@mawarlyza1116 So you can confirm that the sticker is reusable? I want to relocate the camera, but don't want to pull it off until I'm 100% sure it will still stick as effectively as now. Thanks for your time.
Of all the reviews I've watched/read, I feel like I'm the only one having an issue where everything beyond my windshield is VERY blurry. Unless it's a huge road sign, then you can make it out, but if there's a car right in front of me at a traffic light, you can't even make out the license plate; it's completely illegible. Yet when I take the camera out and move around outside the car, the quality is amazing. I've cleaned the lense, and scrubbed the windshield inside and out like crazy, but no improvement unless it's basically sunset. It seems like it's focusing on the dashboard reflection on the windshield, but I've seen so many video reviews where there's not only the dash reflection, but the dash itself is in view. I'm not sure what to make of this, but it's HIGHLY irritating. Any suggestions? TIA.
Thomas R I sent them an email the same day I commented on this, and about 4 other videos on YT. I've gotten nothing from 70mai as of yet (checked my spam folders as well) and gotten responses on every video from the reviewers minus this one, which you replied to. The ONLY reason I asked on these videos as well is because some companies just give the runaround while others with experience (maybe just with dash cams in general) may give some insight. I'm not saying 70mai is like that, just covering all my bases. In this case I was just asking for input while waiting for a response from the manufacturer. Thanks though!
Have you stuck the clear static sticker on the windscreen? Maybe the static sticker that comes with the dash cam is in the way of the lens? I think you might have placed the camera too high.
Long term this product is awful. Glue start to give, plastic starts to warp. U not recommend at this price point 50-60$+. I have a $30 unit that lasted for years, the 70mai lasted 2 months. Check out my videos. I contacted the company, they said they would refund $6 and I could send it in to repair. Still waiting for address, just give me run-a-round. Highly NOT recommend
KRAKEN T But... it probably will only use the first 64GB of it. Test that, then return please. It is probably programmed to not access memory addresses above 2^63 or whatever
@@bruhdabones I know what you mean by that. In fact, that was my concern too. It utilises the whole memory allocated for it on 128GB. You can record longer videos and the videos can be played back fine. Not corrupted or whatsoever.
