Very very nice '79 Chevy Caprice young man. You got you a good find there. I was in high school when that car was brand new, I just got my driver's license that summer of 1979. I remember riding around in those cars we had a lot of fun very good original survivor hang on to that those are good cars good motors good luck... Jose'
Currently back on the road. Keeping it for now. Planning to do some rallies with it possibly. Video is up if you havent already seen. Thanks for watching!
WAY too nice to be scrapped. Especially with a good 350. I had a 1979 Impala and it was one of my favorite's. I now have a 1985 Caprice and a 1981 Bonneville and love both of them., The body on this other than the dings is nearly perfect.
That is a LM1 350 4BBL, 170hp. Check the transmission fluid level probably leaked out. I have had over 20 of the 77-79 cars, awesome cars, not a boat if you look at 76 and older cars.
I have a pristine 1985 impala would you like to trade or sell the 79 that’s my birth year I would like yours mine is freeway ready I’m willing to trade
Please don't destroy that classic car, there's hardly any of them left and that one is a beauty fix her up daily driver heck of a lot better than the plastic light weight crap on the roads today
Not sure what will happen yet. Been driving it around and its super smooth. Not really leaning towards wrecking it anymore once seeing how nice it actually is
Mine is identical down to the hubcaps. Mine sat for 15 years. I just replaced the flex plate and sprayed some starting fluid in the carburetor and she's running. Keep it and care for it. These cars are going extinct.
Yes theyre getting tough to find in good condition. I got lucky with this one. Been driving it almost everyday since i decided to go through it and put it back on the road. I Have that video posted if you havent already checked it out.
