It would’ve hurt even more if there was a modded costume for Violet in her Shujin uniform with her hair down and the glasses being hit out of the way by the alt of Kasumi in her gymnast outfit before the Shy Guy in the kart hit her.
Same. I feel like the lack of a cheaper and smaller Fighters Pass 1.5 dedicated to Echoes and Semi-Clones could have been really cool. Not just to make better use of Echoes as a concept but perhaps to grant FP2 more time if need be? I might be overthinking it, but I feel like something like this would have been amazing. Pack 1 - Violet (Persona 5 - Echo of Joker, with an alternate Final Smash based on her appearance in Sae's Palace. Same overall attributes, it just has a different cinematic. Could perhaps even come with the Casino of Envy as a stage? Comes with 1-2 songs each from the Persona 2 duology, Persona 3 Portable, the Persona 4 Arena duology, the Persona Q duology, and Persona 5 Royal) Pack 2 - Hilda (Legend of Zelda - Echo of Zelda. Could come with a stage based on an area from Link Between Worlds or sth. Idk enough about LoZ to suggest music) Pack 3 - Alvis (Xenoblade Chronicles 1 - Shulk Echo, good promo for Definitive Edition I guess? Could have Bionis Shoulder as the stage to promote Future Connected? Could come with Definitive Edition/Future Connected songs and maybe one or two songs from X) Pack 4 - Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard - Pokemon - Seperated Semi-Clones of their PKMN Trainer counterparts. New Down Specials to replace Pokemon Change - Defence Curl (Squirtle), Stun Spore (Ivysaur) and Rock Smash (Charizard - means he plays closer to his SSB4 self I guess?). They also each gain their own cinemetic Final Smash - Hydro Vortex (to give Gen 7 more love), Max Overgrowth (to give Gen 8 some love) and Mega Evolution X (because Megas are cool dammit). Due to being a trio of Semi-Clones, they take up new slots in the roster as opposed to sharing with Red/Leaf. Maybe comes with a selection of Sword and Shield battle themes. Stage could be Hammerlocke Stadium to promote Gen 8?) Yuuuup, I deffo overthought this... Regardless, what they managed to do was still phenomanol (especially with FP2 iirc being developed during the pandemic).
I would imagine to explain Sumire’s status as a semi clone of Joker, it would be Smash Bros canon that Sumire secretly followed Joker and Morgana to Smash like how she did in Sae’s Palace into the Smash world. Joker then taught his style of fighting to Sumi to which she modified a few moves to better fit her gymnastics style of fighting to be more graceful and elegant, but less aggressive than Joker. Plus it would be wholesome to see Sumi interact with other female fighters like Peach, Daisy, Zelda, Zero Suit Samus, Wii Fit Trainer etc, and she would absolutely buy into the idea that Bayonetta is Joker’s “mother” and fight her out of respect. Joker would be sweat dropping knowing the joke the other fighters put up with him and Bayonetta being related in the background lol.
It would be fitting in Smash Bros, Sumi would be the one learning and using the techniques Joker probably taught her for Smash as Joker’s semi clone like how she taught him in P5R.
It would be a neat touch specially for Smash if Joker and Violet’s Showtime final smash were to KO a fighter over 100%, the fighter would be launched into the stained glass picture in the background and be instantly KO’D when the cinematic ends.
If Sumire were to get in, her inevitable Shujin Academy Uniform alternate can have the option to change her hairstyle from the usual ponytail with the red ribbon to her true bookish appearance with the hair down and glasses with the more reserved and shy voice to match. She’d also change in animation how to summon her persona by either removing the ribbon tying her hair for the ponytail version or taking off her glasses similar to Joker for the true bookish appearance.
Violet would ABSOLUTELY make a great semi-clone for Joker like how Isabelle is to Villager or how Dr. Mario is to Mario. Plus some more Persona 5 representation and another female fighter is always welcome! Plus it would be a great chance for her Shujin Academy uniform costume that the player can tap on the costume like selecting a specific Pokémon for the Pokémon Trainer to switch between Sumi’s normal ponytail hairstyle and Sumire’s true bookish appearance with her hair down and with the glasses instead.
Sumi would be fitting as a semi clone for Joker if she were to get into Smash Bros one day. It would be like Joker taught her how to fight in the world of Smash like how she taught Joker his techniques in her confidant in P5R. Plus getting more Persona music tracks into Smash would be a blessing too! Moreover if she were to get a reveal trailer, it would have to mirror how Sumire saved Joker back in Sae’s palace, but she’d save both Joker and Morgana from the light and dark clones of the Smash Ultimate fighters from World of Light. Plus lmao, Sumire would be one of those people to legitimately believe Bayonetta is Joker’s mother and would fight her out of respect in Smash while Joker himself sweatdrops knowing the joke with him and Bayonetta.
i'm not great at explaining this stuff but i'll try lmao go into 'fighter > jack > model > body' and change the file name of c00 to c02 or whatever skin you want to put it on (except the last 2 bc they're different) for her persona, it's the file called 'doyle', should be under the 'body' folder. rename those the same way. for the UI, go into 'ui > replace_patch > chara' and then rename the 'chara_0_jack_ c00' stuff that's inside the folders to 'chara_0_jack_c02' or whatever skin you want. for the voice you should rename the stuff inside the sound folder the same way, but it doesn't work for me so i'm not sure lmao, just keep them on the slot you want instead of renaming them i guess. same process for any other mod that you want to move
