I had a poster of this car on my wall growing up. I probably fell in love with 442’s when I was 13 or so and my brother’s best friend had a 71 442 w30. He showed me books on the history of the 442. I found that poster in a hobby shop and decided I wanted one. I’m 54 now and I’ve yet to get a chance to buy one, but the dream persists on.
I looked at a 73 Hurst Olds a long time ago & wanted it real bad.! Now i look back & think, why didn't i buy that car! I had already had a 73 442, long gone by then... huge Olds fan! I've had 5... i would have another one if i could.! Nice video!
The Landau top on the 72 Hurst was never a padded top as it was erroneously mentioned it being so. The padded Landau top appeared on the 73 Hurst, however.
