I have always finished the raw edge of my facings like you do, but I never did the edge stitching. I will add that to my tool box. I have recently inherited pinking shears and use them for all my curves now so I do much less clipping. Thanks for your detailed descriptions.

Thanks for the tutorial. Facings are not my favorite but I may try this one. I prefer bindings. Maybe you would consider doing a video on how to sew binding to a neckline to replace facing. 😉
This is so thoughtful. Recently, I've had a number of patterns say to sew the bottom of the facing when you attach it to the garment. It never works out for me and I need to remember that I don't follow the instructions for all kinds of things and should finish a facing the way you do!
