This is exactly the video I was looking for!! All these patterns seem to be made for models not real women who would like to dress respectfully to church or family gatherings…
LOL, you crack me up Ma. You get sold on things, just like we all do. Don’t feel bad! Your opinions/reviews/advice are priceless. If some folks forget that you’re human, that’s a “them problem” they need to get squared away, personally there’s only ever been two times I’ve listened to your advice and opinion and it didn’t turn out the way I initially wanted it to, and that was on me lol. Appreciate you Ma ❤❤❤ Thanks for being you and doing you 😊
Hi Adlynn I bought one of these Accordion Button Hole Spacers during the 2020 Lockdowns and didn't know how to use it. LOL Could buy the Spacer, but couldn't buy Yeast for making Bread! Thanks so very much for demonstrating. Whew! I'm getting ready to sew my very first Button Holes. Does it matter which direction the button holes go on a Stretch Fabric? I have had problems with ready made clothing where a horizontal button hole did not hold the button. Thanks again!
I run into the problem of the bodice fits fine until I sew the sleeve in and then it’s tight when I extend my arms forward. It pulls in the deltoids and at the back at the armhole. The width of the sleeve is 1-1/2 inches larger than my bicep. I don’t know if it’s the back width at the armhole is too small? Or the sleeve cap is too narrow?

Thank you so much for your explanation on how to use this system. I had it for so many years and could not use it because did not know how the order of the sewing. Ended up giving it away. I bought it in the 80's, but was not able to use it. Then there was no RU-vid nor I had a CD. Thanks again Elizabeth Diaz, Florida,USA
Thanks so much for sharing this ! I just turn 80, and for the first time in my life I have a weight problem. I went from size 8 in my sixties to a 12, now a14. Have lots of patterns, but no idea how to grade them. I might have to watch your video several times… but I know I will get it. I use mostly centimeters and millimeters. So it is a little confusing. Thanks so much! Wishing you the very best 🎉❤😊
thanks for doing this. I have this pattern and am now making this dress and needed to move the bust dart down. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
When I bought my Lutterloh last year (2023) it did not come with a DVD, or the the plastic rulers. It came with the pattern in the book, the Styrofoam with maker, ruler, tape and two push pins and a cardboard. I was working at a glass place and had a plexiglass made to the size of my cardboard.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I’m a guy so I was never in any home economics classes and I never learned how to sew, now I have to patch/make my own pants so this information was PRICELESS to someone like me. Thankyou so much. I feel so lucky that I found this video and I’m gonna send it to my friends because not enough people have seen it. I’m only halfway through the video right now and I’ll be subscribing and watching your other videos, but just in case you haven’t covered it yet, can you please go over the different sources? The only fabric stores near me are things like quilt shops and craft stores, and I need to find out where to get the raw denim, buttons and rivets. Thankyou so much for all your help, God bless you ma’am. You’re a certified hero to me and the rest of us who need to know this kinda stuff but never learned it. Keep up the great work!
God I want it I want it all! 😊I've bought a sewing machine and it's intimidating I just want to learn it where I can get the hang of it without getting frustrated where do I start now.😊
