as a former tour guide to Bromo, this is my trick to deal with the cold winds of Bromo. first you have your basic long sleeves T-shirt and then wear long sleeves cotton shirt, after that, you can put on knitted vest before putting on your padded jacket. this is because usually the weather will get warmer when the sun goes higher, you can take off your padded jacket and you still have enough warmth. as for the vest, for me, is mandatory because the cold wind hit you hard on the chest. and also, dont wear jeans, wear khaki trousers or thick cotton trouser over track trouser. jeans cant hold the cold and it's so thick as well and please wear shoes, dont wear sandals, bromo is sandy and the sand is volcanic sand so it's actually silica so you might hurt the bottom of your feet if you dont wear proper shoes or if the sand gets into your shoes.
@@couplesquest_In the peak of dry season, july-august. It can be really cold there, it can reach below 0, you can see froze formed there. Be well prepare 😅
Wow. I went to bromo 33 years ago and we had to hike up to that view point with no guides. Turn left when you hear the dog bark, right when you get to a certain plant etc.. at 3am. No jeeps, no crowds, no headlamps, just a blanket from the guesthouse to keep warm. If you wanted to go across to the actual Mount bromo you went by foot or horseback. So crazy to see the changes. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the view. It’s the best I’ve ever seen. Was probably about 10 of us maximum up on the viewpoint the day I climbed it. The world has changed forever with the birth of the smart phone. Lovely video, but made me reminisce a little too much of how things were ❤
Wow! 😯 that has blown our minds! We can’t imagine what it would have been like back then. I bet watching that view with 10 people around would have been so spectacular 😍 things have definitely changed since then!
Indonesia adalah suga dunia dengan keindahan alam orang yang ramah dan baik budaya yang selalu bertoleransi betapa anugerah Tuhan tinggal di Indonesia bahkan di negara lain belum tentu ada
We have another crater lake like mount Ijen, one in West Java (Kawah Putih) and the other is in Nusa Tenggara Timur (Kelimutu). For me Kelimutu is the best...😊
Im from indonesia thank you for visting all those places But be careful Because one chinese woman fell down from the top of kawah ijen to the bottom of kawah ijen and she died it has gone all over indonesian news and in Indonesia theres more than 3 active volcanoes( Mount Ruang, Mount Bromo and i forgot what is the name) So be careful
Thanks so much, we are so happy you have been enjoying them 🥰. We actually booked our whole Java trip through the owner of D’Corner Guest House. He helped to organise our transport around Java, stays at different places and guides to all the stops. If you drop us a message on instagram (@couplesquest_) then we can send you his details ☺️
Is it exhausting to visit all those three spots in 72h? Esp since you need to wake up super early for the volcanoes? I am planning go to bromo and ijen soon and am thinking if it's a good idea to do both at once😃 would appreciate your tip for this 😍
It was VERY exhausting! We went back to Bali and slept for about 16hrs straight after this 😂 we recommend doing as much as you can there, but if you can take longer then it will be much better. Doing these over 1 week would be amazing if you have the time 🙌🏼
I always thought that westerners are resistant to cold because when I go to Bromo like 20 years ago, there a few bule (westerners) who wear only T shirt and they seems okay.😂
Gw yang orang indonesia ke Bromo saja sampai meler hidung tidak kuat dingin nya Bromo..saran saja kalau mau lihat matahari terbit cari spot yang bagus karena disitu banyak orang
Very true. We wished we had gone a little further along, rather than the popular place because there were lots of people. We still had an amazing view with a beautiful sunrise ☺️
Thanks so much ☺️ We are glad you enjoyed it. Of course! We get all our music from Epidemic Sound (you can see a link in the video description) but the song is here - www.epidemicsound.com/track/DLWYEvu8hQ/
Semoga pemerintah kita lebih peduli dan tegas mengenai pengelolaan pariwisata, terutama masalah sampah. Sayang kalau linkungan kita yg indah harus rusak karena hal 2 ini
Im from indonesia..thanks for exploring indonesia. Btw i need subtitle bahasa, over all...very good videos..stay carefull, every place have a criminal,
I'm an Indonesian doesn't like Indonesian nature, because there's a lot of rubbish and dirt. It's all the work of people who are less sensitive to the environment. I myself give a rating for Indonesian nature 4/10🗿
Almost every country in the world has this problem, it is not just Indonesia. If you walk through London you would be shocked at how much trash there is. It’s something that we care about lot about and are looking at ways we can help/ causes that are aimed at cleaning the trash in places we visit. The Indonesian landscapes are still incredible though 😍
Java is outstanding guys and so are you. Your content is next level 👍👍 Feels like we’re on the journey with you. Drone shots are stunning. Felt your pain during this vlog Danielle ❤️🩹 Thanks for the hard work your ploughing in to bring us these amazing vlogs. Much love 👍💙

@@couplesquest_ we’ve done Jakarta and Yogyakarta and some surrounding coastline many years ago. Didn’t get to experience mount Bromo as time was limited and season against us. Your experiences have certainly fuelled our appetite to return 🫶
Amazing, so glad you’ve seen some of it and we absolutely recommend visiting again 🙌🏼 hopefully we can share even more places for you to visit in the future
Mangosteen (manggis in Indonesia) also known as Queen of Fruits. Absolutely it called by with a reason. All of part from this fruit have so much benefit for human healthiness. You can check it out. Btw i love british accent, it look too sexy in my ear 😁
thank you for all the incredible information! I am planning my upcoming trip and this information was so helpfull. Just curious how you handled all your taxis, always hiring privately through taxi app?
Hey! So happy this was helpful for you. We would absolutely recommend East Java, it was an amazing place to visit. We actually had a local organise everything for us! It made everything so much easier. He organised all accommodation, guides for places we visited and transport. If you drop us a DM on Instagram (instagram.com/couplesquest_/) then we can send you his contact details ☺️. We have shared his info with a few people now and everyone has found him sooooooo helpful

I feel sorry to hear your experience. As someone who has asthma and allergies, I could feel, and it is really dangerous when you're affected by allergens. 😢. I hope you still enjoy the magnificent view there.

Terima Kasih banyak 🙏🏼. Kita suka sekali Indonesia. Samua bagus sekali dan canktik. Ma’af, kita masih belajar bahasa Indonesia. We hope we said this all correct 😂
What an an excellent and epic travel video. I would like to provide some understanding regarding the meanings and meanings in Indonesian or English. Tumpak can mean a group or gathering into one, sewu means a thousand. Coconut in Indonesian is Kelapa, Mangosteen is Manggis, Snakefruit is Salak.....
Oh wow this is an amazing explanation into the words and why they’re named this way. Thanks so much for your comment, and thank you for watching our video 🫶🏼
Hi, thanks so much for watching ☺️ you may have seen similar videos to this. We did Java in a 3 part series before, and wanted to create a vlog of Java as a whole for people who want more of a 1 video guide on Java ☺️ we have others that are similar coming for Sumba and Sumatra too ❤️
Saya penduduk asli indonesia, Saya Terharu Sama Kakanya🥲 Semangat trus kk Semoga penyakitnya Cepat pulih, Sehat Selalu kk, Semnagat Keliling Indonesia💪💪💪🙏
It is hard for people with asthma to see the mountain view in Indonesia, Maybe a Diving too. But is great you can set foot in the Ijen and bromo views. Why not see a temple or any other location like a beach or forest that not exhausting and make your lung working hard. There is many place like that in Java.
