She literally is all over the spectrum.....she is a pop star, she’s done jazz, she plays piano, she’s been in many tv appearances, she was a headliner in a very SUCCESSFUL movie.....she’s done a rock album with Joanne, is a big supporter of what is right and she is constantly being creative. Yea but why did she keep the camera SO FAR AWAY THHHOOOOOO. That seems more staged than any other vogue 73 interview. I’m sorry- this felt completely disingenuous and lazy to me. Like they planned this in 15 minutes. I think there’s a happy medium between COMPLETELY REHEARSED AND UNINSPIRED and OMG! WE HAVE 2 DAYS TO PLAN, SHOOT AND EDIT OUR LADY GAGA INTERVIEW! I KNOW! They all feel very scripted usually, you can see how genuine she is though. No walking around with no purpose, practised tricks, etc.. She keeps it real

mason mcelroy nah, he himself wanted to. he gives her the book but then says “I’ll just stand over here again” in a respectful manner. I think it’s because of the peaceful background in terms of videography, and sometimes cameras being held directly at you as big as Vogue has is uncomfortable during interviews.
