The writing was excellent -- until the end. Instead of resolving the story, the ending made no sense. Why would Old Ruby cause people to run away? Where did the Doctor go? Etc. There were quite a few really good moments of tension, but, for instance: When she backs up on the pitch to get Old Ruby next to the PM? So, basically, any time she ended up standing 73 yards from SOMEONE did that person run off screaming? It isn't a "good" story if there's a whole passel of problems with the internal logic.

How did Ruby contact Kate? - How did the doctor disappear - Was it a closed loop? How did Ruby change things at the end of the episode - Why couldn’t Kate contact 14 to help? - Why did the TARIDS lock itself? Really could have used her to help lol Literally NOTHING was explained lol Also, how did ruby manage to measure 73 yards when the woman always moved. You’d never get a fix on her. Unless she had a tape measure that was 73 yards long LOL!

- not everything needs to be explained, but maybe kate heard about what was happening and she contacted ruby first -the doctor was probably transported to "time-line b" aka the one after old ruby fixed the loop -probably closed loop but we're seeing the result of the loop working and getting out of it - this one idk maybe they just didn't think of it -the TARDIS was probably just a husk and the real one got transported with the doctor to timeline b and your last point is the one that makes no sense, she could've used the app she already used in the ep to measure using a reference point, or guide the old woman to a specific spot and measuring the distance between said spot and her previous location Overall I see your complaints but I think the not knowing part of this episode is what made it great, at least in my opinion. it's not a perfect episode but I still like it a lot and so far it's my top 2 of the series so far

It seemed more like a filler episode with no point til the very end. Imo was a shit episode. It's episodes like this with shitty writing to make me wonder why I even still watch Doctor Who. Considering the last season was all shit. I watch Doctor Who because I want to see Doctor Who, not the sidekick.

This just confirms my decision that whatever this is, it is not bloody Dr Who. I made that decision during Episode 2, where the Doctor cowered in a basement after Widow Twanky climbed out if the piano.
