awesome idea for a video, but u didnt say a thing for the niche, some subcategories, monetization, maybe pros and cons, some analysis...u devoted 20-30 s to a whole niche and u moved on. I think you could do 2 separate videos analysing the niches a little but and being more helpful.
This I believe is the second one they've made like this. The other one has a title like "75 niche websites reviewed..." or something like that. I somewhat agree with you, though. There were moments I wanted to hear more about but was interrupted by bursting balloons.
Hi Ricky, during last niche reveal video i didn't have a blog. But now you reviewed my blog, I followed everything from this channel, especially focusing on connect, ignoring link building, seo plugin, etc. I recently crossed 100k mark in 14 months as a part time hobby. If you need a case study or something happy to share more information. Thanks for your videos.
And here I thought it was so pretty, you guys being outside... SPLOOSH! Seriously, it is a nice change of scenery. Outdoors rocks! Do more outside when you can.
I GOT IT!! I GOT MY NICHE!! I didn't pick from this list, but what you guys were saying totally inspired a light to flick on in my mind. It's a totalllllly untapped niche. Thank you, guys! Let the games BEGINNNN!
I think website age should be factored into these results as well. For example, the Retrododo gaming site at 40:20 is over 5 years old, making almost $20k per month. Some of the other sites shown are barely a year old.
Can we go with YMYL pages and expect it to grow after a year by building good authority and content? I have the expert of the field along with appropriate degree (from another country) and one reputed website that has information about the author along with his degree. I have a broad niche and YMYL is applicable only on few categories. I have posted only 30 articles in 2020, 2021 & 2022 but now planning to post at least a single article everyday. I am getting 5-10 visitors a day from google & bing and 60% on YMYL articles written by the expert.
I went to both of the finance sites mentioned (at 30:33 and at 45:51). Both are horrible. The first one is basically a collection of links to the login pages of other financial sites, and I wasn't entirely certain that it wasn't trying to steal my credentials or flood me with malware. The other one is a poorly-written aimless meander through topics that are tangentially related to finance (like making money online), but also includes posts about totally unrelated topics like keto dieting and the top 5 African safari destinations.
The first balloon that didn't pop, I would definitely have thrown it back. Now I realize I need to introduce my kids to water balloons. Btw, 29, that's really just backyard homesteading. It's getting wildly popular and there's a lot of people spending a lot of money there.
I was a bit surprised by how low revenue was for many of the sites considering the number of views they received. I wonder if it is due to poor monetization, low number of views from the US, or simply low buying intent? Maybe my site is just overperforming.
Several of the submissions we received appear to be under monetized. I suspect that people earning a lot more were reluctant to share their site details. When I do my anonymous blog earnings survey the average earnings per page view is much higher.
i was thinking about music production and singing is this a good idea, as I saw they are not earning that well 34:09 and there might be a lot of competition (maybe the site is underperforming)
A couple of important points: 1. real estate info niche. Make sure if you are NOT a REALTOR® that you are NOT selling leads to agents. You can sell e-books, downloads with general information but do not cross the line to real estate information that is only allowed to be provided by licensed agents. All 50 states in the USA have real estate commissions that govern real estate law. Nearly if not all states - it is illegal for a non licensed realtor to receive compensation for real estate transactions ( unless it is your own property) and many states include this to be buyers and seller leads. If you are a real estate agent your local area is a great niche to generate leads from as well as refer leads to other agents so you can make a referral fee. 2. Sewing niche - to Nathan: there is a ton of money to be made selling affiliate offers in this space. Sewing is now very expensive and you can sell very high end embroidery, serger and sewing machines along with being sponsored by those companies.
Good tips. Definitely still trying to find my niche. I think I'd like to do something with fitness but I know the space is crowded and I'm not sure what sort of new angle I can bring.
same spot brother YMYL is kinda discouraging ngl. what topics would you like to cover? I thought about explaining certain exercises and their benefits, mainly at home with bodyweight, kettlebells and dumbells. I've been training like that for a couple of months now and it's great. Especially for functional strength and endurance, plus it saves lots of time for me.
@@Healthception I was thinking of calisthenics, perhaps workouts for beginners. I'm not an expert at it, so I don't know if I can really go in depth, but maybe I can answer questions for beginners.
@@cxa011500 Not being an expert can be a benefit too. Like you say you can encourage beginners and take them with you on your calisthenic journey. And once you'll become an expert. Ali Abdal has a video on not being an expert on something and why it can beneficial. One downside, besides the competition, I see is that it might not have many products to monetize. Maybe some pull Up bars or am I wrong here?
@@Healthception as someone who loves Cali, would say monetization is mainly through affilaite course programs, pull up bars, planche bars so a few bit of options. but the competition is discouraging, might be better as a youtube channel i think.
good review from you both guys, but sorry, i know it s a joke, but too many " water bombs" , it interrupts this interesting topic again and again, unnecessarily and too much !
I mean I'm sure it was entertaining.... but 30 seconds? One minute would have been nice. I hate when challenges like yours become all about the views and less about the quality of the content.
Does competition still matter these days? Will some niches not work due to high competition? I want to go all in with my blog but these questions are what’s holding me back. I feel like I’m in a very competitive niche so I have a lot of self doubt atm.
Hello everyone i have a question. Basically, i'm interested in the 12th niches "Hotel review for specific destination". He advised us to focus the website into a travel one. In this case, beside the restaurants, can i include bars/Nightclubs, Museum and any artistic places ? I live in a big city, means that i have many things to say. Thank you!
For specific city, there are many topics to cover in A-Z business reviews. Looks somewhat dificult to rank at starting, but you can gain authority quickly and can rank easily on first and second pages within 6 months. CPC will be high, so for even less page views your earnings will be high.
Does good niche always have to be product focused? in case of trying to add affiliate marketing? also, are these niches are good? , Comic Books, stand-up comedy, Thriller movies and TV series.
Great video, lots of helpful information. But next time just use a stopwatch with loud alarm sounds instead of throwing water balloons. Seeing my beloved RU-vidrs getting attacked with water balloons while dishing out valuable information sends negative message to my brain. Just saying 😊😊
I have a doubt about one niche. I am very passionate about fitness and want to start an affiliate website. But people are telling me this is a YMYL niche and I should not choose this. However, I feel I can write about this. What should I do? Help me to clear my confusion
That is called a lifestyle blog. The only real way to grow that blog is through building a really good Facebook group, Instagram reels and Pinterest. Organic search traffic will be hard because once you stray from one niche topic, it gets hard to rank.
This started as a fantastically informative video and quickly turned into a wet-t-shirt contest! Loved it!!! I didn't see any mention of Christian blogs in the last few nich videos. Is there any advice on how to monetize in that area that would be probably fall in the Personal Development broader category? I'm not a fan of ads but I wanted to know what the pros think.
I’d say so. You’re offering advice that could potentially have a huge impact on someone’s life. If you’re currently enrolled in P24 I’d say go over the E-A-T course to establish credibility in your niche 😃
Re. pollinator gardens, go for it! I've been searching high and low for lists of plants native to my area and suitable for the light and soil and will bloom spanning as long as possible. Don't forget the experts at local land grant colleges. Civil Engineering is pretty broad. There are a number of popular RU-vidrs who discuss accidents or the built world in general, but animation is a strong component to keep interest and little talk of Bob's Modulus or fourth order differential equations. A blog for (pre-)professional would be very different.
“Your Money, Your Life” a phrase Google created to distinguish websites where the content could significantly impact or affect a persons money or livelihood. For example, finance and investing, health and medicine, etc.
Your money your life, a metric by Google about content that can affect health and finances of a person. You need to be credible as well as SEO wise good for it
I am in Germany in the dog niche... in Germany we're a few years behind the US... so i see what works in the US and Do it in Germany. In Addition i have a translated englisch site with about 140 posts at 7 month age...we will see how the traffic will grow...
@@tristanauer991 Yes, regulations on mandatory information on the website, data protection, etc. are stricter. But there are tools and services with which that can check once a year. But the competition is much lower than in the usa. Keyword phrases that are not occupied in Germany, there are 10 to 20 posts in the usa. I first had adsense and am now with ezoic. After some mistakes in the beginning I am now at 450 to 550 pageviews a day.
@@Marco-wu9sm Cool thanks and wow good job!. So is there anything else you need to consider for Germany besides these? @@Marco-wu9sm i speak German myself and was considering doing a German site for the same reasons. Not in the pet niche tho But all the regulations seem a pain in the a... Do you have recommendations on how to set up all the legal requirements we talked about for a one-off fee? I was also thinking of letting my friend manage the site because he is not located in EU and it seems as a nice way to circumvent all these requirements.
Storytime videos are popular on RU-vid. Do you have any hobbies you like to do? For example, art channels will draw or paint a picture while story telling. But that could work for anything from knitting to doing a crossword or jigsaw puzzle.
I don’t believe it would be at all. What would people type into Google to find those stories? Or would you get traffic to it another way? Just my two cents based on what tanks for me v what doesn’t
@@livingbreed I'm pretty sure it would be good as he said in the video that screen writing would be good but maybe a little too specific. Story telling and writing stories is a step back and a little less specific. Somewhere around that range. Even here on RU-vid if you type "How to write a good character" or "how to plot your story" you'll see TONS of videos with millions of view. There are many people interested. I've seen a few blogs too but idk what their income looks like.
Right, because these 75 ideas are the ONLY ideas out there. We’ve been giving out our list of over 1,000 ideas for over 2 years now and that just barely scratches the surface of what’s available. It’s time to move past the scarcity mindset. People who fail to do so are not going to be successful at blogging.
Well, let's see in a year if these 75 niches will be saturated. My guess is that not everyone seeing these niche ideas will do the sufficient work required to beat the niches revealed in the video.
