Embark on an unforgettable journey with me as we cover 750 kilometers in just 18 hours, riding from Mumbai to Udaipur in the first leg of our Ladakh 2024 adventure. Starting past midnight from Thane's bustling Ghorbunder Road in Maharashtra, we faced a daunting challenge: nearly 3 hours stuck in heavy traffic. Maharashtra's ambitious road upgrades meant 210 kilometers were a labyrinth of construction, filled with swirling dust, gritty sand, and unforgiving stones. Despite the hurdles, we persevered and reached Surat by morning, greeted by the promise of smoother roads ahead as we pushed on towards the enchanting city of Udaipur.
