How was your Father's Day, I make believe that I am riding in a 69' 750hp Ford Mustang. This car was LOUD! In optimum conditions it goes 0 -100mph in around 6 seconds.
It was odd that after 4 mins, the video ends right before the main attraction begins. The whole reason I watched it was to see and hear it do a pass. It sounds and looks fast though.
That guy used to be the mayor of Vernon B.C. He's at the Vernon airport on Fathers day. They should turn the airport into a drag strip. It would be more fun.
I wish someone would think out side the box here in the states and build an old Mustang into a track/drift car. Drag Racing is sweet, but it's really only super awesome if you're going 300+mph.
No water in the burn out area ? What kind of drag racing is this ? Grant you that here in the U.S we probaly do more of it and parts are much easer to get , but please do it correct.
Okay where's the race at? I don't wish to be negative but that's the whole reason why I watched this video, to see how fast this Mustang goes down the quarter mile. Very disappointing video, a couple of nice cars though.
And with some work the Supra would be worth it. Also, my car is lighter than his supra. I push a little over 300 horse, he pushes over 400. Also, you can never get the money that you put into a fox back out of it. So in a fiscal situation, it's just not worth the money. You can have loads of fun, but older mustangs were always much better at going in straight lines. Like I said, I love my car, but I also love me a supra.
A stock mustang against a stock supra is not a fair fight ur car is older, heavier,& has less power. I beleive the yota has 276 HP your ford should have close 2 that but is much heavier. Like I said if u spent 5,000 on that mustang ur brother would not cause u trouble no more. There is so much power in that ford. But each to his/her own. I have never ridden in a mustang or supra, but I would take a rusted mustang then a twin turbo supra. cause I know with some work the mustang would be worth it
Its a drag car ,why not put it in a normal shell mustang & do the engineering required to make the body & the rest of where the engine & running gear is to stand up to that much horsepower, why because the mustang body was not built to take that much HP it would bend the metal in it full stop. lol :) Theres drag cars with fiberglass shells that look like the real thing, but underneath its a straight out 8 second or even 7 second drag car with over 1,500 HP & the right gearing for the 1/4 or the 1/8th & you have very fast . :)
