The last of the reliable Land Rover ended with the series 3 . When was the last time you saw a L/R product with 300,000 km on it. I have a “04 Tundra with 400k on it and an 07 Sequoia with 300k on it. I’d buy a 70 series Toyota without even thinking about it. Unfortunately, we can’t get themCanada. I service and maintain 70 series L.C where I work. In the nickel mines in Canada for 25 years. . We use them underground for running around. We can’t buy them from the company b c they’re well used. We’ve had other vehicles over the years ,gmc trucks , Jeep s , a hummer , we always go back to Toyota
@@kevinmorley6300 I’m jealous that you get to work with 70s. I used to have a FJ cruiser which is what got me into land cruisers. I now have a 100 series and I’m looking for an 80 series project. A 76 series is my ultimate dream truck but they’re a no go in the states. Sucks.
@@offroadoffshore8987 Ya till the airbag suspension goes out or a sensor , will leave you stranded in the bush. I’ve owned 2 LR vehicles for a few years and they were both the same. Spectacular turds , endless money pit , pissing oil everywhere. Always something needed to fix. L. R airbag suspension is well known for being prone to fail regularly. I’d put a hilux up against a new defender any day. I’d put money on it.
