This Bronco has been sitting without an engine for many years, it can now move under it's own power.

Congrats on getting it running again. You made slinging that engine alone look easy - well done sir (because we all know it isn't easy alone). Thank you as always for taking us along ~ Chuck. P.S. You made me truly laugh out loud at the "rich channels...with brand new parts".

Thank you Chuck! It was a tight fit, the A/C box really fills the engine bay...may a guy will have to look at one of the Vintage Air systems? 🤔

It's always good to hear an engine come to life after it gets installed. I don't miss those late sniw storms.. lol. I enjoyed it Alvin and looking forward to the build.

Hello Alvin. Glad you got the engine in just in time! The snow is one thing, but multiple car failures sure was not expected I bet. I put my snow shovels away today, so it'll probably snow here soon.lol The engine sounded good, and glad to see the T-bird just waiting. George B

Hi George, It's been a busy couple of weeks, but that's retirement! Lol I hope the snow misses you, we really do need the moisture, and I guess, if it comes in the form of snow, that's better than nothing. ❄️

Alvin, It's glaringly obvious that you haven't very much to occupy your time. Find something to do, will ya?😋 Regards, John

Thanks for your video series on the Bronco. I have a 78 that is my hobby/project. I just rebuilt my 1st ever carb, it has a 2150, was missing the power valve gasket, which fixed my fuel in crankcase issue. Mine is an auto with a 400. It also wasn't charging the battery, found a bad fusible link and ended up installing a new alternator, kept the orignal one also. Recently found power steering pump with slow leak out of the pulley area and the c6 trans leaks some, not sure if it is the pan or multiple areas yet. I'm currently trying to figure out no brake/turn/hazard lights, the running lights/headlights work. Also doesnt stop very well and thinking the master cylinder may need repalced, haven't torn the wheels off yet to inspect brakes either. If you get time could you list your part numbers for what you replaced in this video so I can have a reference, I have a feeling that I will be replacing the same parts. Thanks!

I've had a lot of issues with power valve gaskets, I ended up using an o-ring, so far it's working, but I haven't driven the Bronco very much...so we will see. I'll see about the parts list, but really, just search Bronco or F series for 78-79, I bought all after market parts, and you may find a better deal based on where you live.

Great Job! OJ would be so proud of you!! Snow in Mid April? Brrrrrrrrr..... maybe you need to do a snow mobile restoration video series....

Thanks Mike! Funny you mentioned a snowmobile restoration, I was looking at a 1970 Snow Jet, that was in really nice condition, but had been sitting for many years...would have been a nice little project, maybe in the future, we do have a 1979 Honda Trail 90, that has been in my wifes family since it was new, and needs some attention. 🤔

Wow , snow at this time of the year. I hate to tell you that I had to cut my grass today. This Canada is a big place. Are you still running the Bronco with a 12 volt wire to the coil or did you find out the problem? All that work, it is either nothing or too much. Until the next one.

It's days like this that I miss living in Vancouver. Lol I got the ignition coil wiring figured out... mostly it was my mistake, I was using two wire harnesses at the same time, and should have only been using one, it's all good now, also had to swap out the ignition key tumbler...the Bronco came without keys. If I think of it, I'll show the fancy fuse bypass set up on the fuse box in a future video...it is quite innovative. 🫣
