ummm am I the only one in the comments that's thinking.. atleast Timothy is safe . atleast Timothy didn't get hurt really bad.these drivers out here act like they own the whole dam road.im glad you're safe an not hurt Timothy.
Panhead49EL yep dash cam wouldve showed the truck that tim says hit him and could file a hit n run i drive a f350 10ft flatbed dually truck and i got hit n run by a ford taurus no damage to my truck since its a steel flatbed wonder about the car though lol
I'm just glad that the young man isn't hurt.glad you are doing good Timothy.sorry that it's gonna be expensive but at least he's safe.be safe out there and take care of yourself and your family.much love from West Virginia.🙏🙏💪💪👍👍🍀🍀💯💯
Im probably one of the few dummies that enjoy being stuck behind slow moving farm equipment . It brings back some of the good memories from the old days.i always stay back far enough for the stupid people in a hurry to pass me then take their chances of passing the tractor or whatever im following . Plus hanging back that far lets the farmer know im in no hurry.plus it gives me more of a chance to enjoy the scenery
Tony Aguilar hey...I'm the same way.we all need to respect an love each other....even on the roads.show respect to the farmers and truck drivers...they are the reason you will be eating dinner tonight.much love from West Virginia.🙏🙏👍👍💪💪💯💯
Thanks for the video. Same thing here in upper state N.Y. Had a citiots pass me on a curve with my tractor on a partially snowy road. Glad everyone is o.k.
Same thing is happening everywhere. People don't care just wanna get to their destination. Except out here the equipment is so large the car usually loses
Had a similar thing happen when I was 16 a few years ago. I stayed out of the ditch, but I had to get new pants. Big jacked up pickup dick head, thought he'd pass me up a blind hill. Three separate skid marks from him, my tractor, and the car, proved our innocence. I'm afraid people will only get worse. I'm in middle of nowhere wisconsin. They're everywhere. Stay safe you guys.
Good day Boy when Tim smiles I see my son smiling, I have to laugh, when he smiles Too bad, I drive back roads here in Ont. & what really gets me on gravel roads, they think middle is there's and then you have to pull over even more. Thanks
I really hate driving my equipment on public roads but have to and ppl just don't give a damn anymore about how wide u are and how heavy u are I always run my flashers on and lights on but most ppl don't care about u trying to get work done all they care about is themselves and thank God Tim wasn't hurt and it's just minor damages to the tractor keep up the good work and can't wait to see ur next video and hope u have good hay season bc I am getting ready here in Nebraska to get into fields to start my crop season also
Dashcam in each tractor is great to catch idiots. There are tool boxes that you can have on the front that functions as a counter weight, and also as a bumper to stop your tire from catching and climbing when you hit some thing/one.
Out where I live we don't have farmers.. we have the opposite - logging trucks. It is best to get out of their way because they fly, cruising 65 in a 55 just to get those extra 1-2 loads in by the end of the day. I love 'em! Damn good business, damn hard workers and I am more then happy to share the road and give right of way to either farmers or loggers!
Having the same problem in southeast Michigan. People drive to fast for road conditions, and tailgating. You have to be really careful making left turns into the fields too. When you slow down to turn they will try to pass when you turn.
Dan W not only left turns but right turns also. One day a few years ago my brother was towing some wagons and he needed to turn right, so he had to swing left to get the wagons into the driveway and as he was doing so a car tried to PASS HIM ON THE RIGHT. He almost drove the wagons over the car.
I'm glad Tim is ok...that sucks when you have literally no time to react and that much mass moving at 20mph. Ive had that almost happen to me several times...it blows my mind that people don't slow down when they see huge equipment on the road.
Glad Tim didn't get hurt, That's the important part. Wes I would have to take a really close look at the from axel for damage, Going at hi-way speed and being pushed off the road and hitting a colvert and bouncing may have damaged it. Pickup driver is at fault so he should be paying for all of it not you. Bandit
The most important thing is Tim is still in 1 piece. All else is secondary. It is a nice bonus to find all the rest of the stuff that was ready to take a dump on your parade.
I bought a used 7710 sight unseen and it came with a broken exhaust. It had burned the battery cables and some other parts. New stack was 450 gbp the short pipe with the coating was 350 gbp.
Hey Wesley , how about a update on 4960 ? Did JD come out and check all the pressures ? Is everything all good now is it ready for the field? I saw on instagram it was done but didnt say weather JD was out and checked everything yet.. and thanks for the video..
My dad would say as long as you are okay equipment can be repaired Bad drivers are every where we were hit making a right turn after having my signal on for a 100 feet before we turned. The other driver told us she was distracted and hadn't seen our signal
Glad to see Tim is ok and the tractor is fixable. Yes it’s the same here in good old Canada. Everyone is in a super hurry to go now where. Defensive driving is a must to teach our new generation of drivers.
I remember you mentioning liability insurance for an accident you had a while back so I'm wondering if there is insurance available for damage to your equipment. Are you self-insured because the insurance is too expensive?
Well I'm glad to see Tim is alright. You gotta watch non farm people on the roads, doesn't matter if you're in New Jersey or the middle of Ohio farm country. At least there wasn't any major damage to the tractor. My cousin got in an accident about a year or so ago that wiped the whole front axle off the tractor. Stay safe out there.
Tim... You were drifting dad's tractor again, weren't you? Good to hear that you were ok, no one was hurt. Lucky that kids who grow up on farms can drive.
Sorry about the damage to the machine but can be fixed, Thankfully tim didn't get hurt. Just asking but can you get insurance to pay for damage on machine? Are they insurable? take care.
Glad Tim is OK. People need to give these guys some room and respect on the road. Everyone is in too big of a damn hurry in most places or just plain couldn't drive if they had to. Every time I get on the road with a tractor, within minutes I have someone crammed under the ass end wanting to pass where they can't, so I pull off to the side and they go maybe 1/4 mile down the road and turn off. For the life of me I cannot understand what the hell is wrong with people like this. 20 years ago I didn't have much problems at all and now, it's dangerous running tractors and equipment down the road.
I'm glad Tim is okay. And you should see the bad drivers here in California. But on the other hand, some of the big farmers think they own everything and won't let you pass. The small farmers always let people pass. By the way, what is with the anvils. They are worth more than gold here. Small 100 pounders are over $300. I glad I was able to obtain one when I did (I got it at an auction and paid too much ). I hopefully will get my Dad's. Also, no matter how diligent you are about maintenance, something still gets over looked. But that is what winter is for, maintenance.
This why we have dash cams in every thing that goes on the road. We mount them on the back windows of the tractors in the upper right corner, you can't see every thing but it still Catches most every thing.
I hope the driver of the pickup got a ticket! Awhile ago I was driving in a farming community there was some kind of tractor sprayer. Four very high thin wheels with a lot of clearance underneath. Two vehicles in front of me passed the tractor by going underneath it on the road. I do not know if it happens a lot but I think the farmer was a little shocked. I know I was.
Part on the tractor can be replaced, Tim cant so its great to see hes ok, and I hope you find out the person who caused this in the first place and give them the repair bill
Accident or not. That exhaust was due for replacement. Good that you caught it before you melted the filter housing and the pressurizing fan, häve seen inåt happen. And it is expensive!
Got out of farming 30 years ago. When going down a road back then with the tractors we would pull over on the side when we got cars behind us to let them go by. Today they just don't pull over to let people by, maybe because all the mail boxes every 200' down the road. Good that nobody got hurt. I have saw to 2 people lose their lives running up into a combines and a tractor on the road in front of our house growing up, strait road. It is not that they are small and hard to see.
I'm very glad Tim wasn't hurt, but I feel if Tim would have SHOVED that 7810 up that drivers backside,he would have seriously deserved it,cutting off a 20 ton tractor like that for absolutely NO REASON.👿 ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT TIM!. ⚠ 🚜 SAFETY LIVE WITH IT 🚜⚠
so the 4960 is done then as tim is sitting on it, good to see it back together again pitty the videos now are all going to be arse about face seeing you put it back together,,
Timothy could have went right through the windshield, very lucky dude, BTW i'm a newbe here and appreciate your frankness, I wondered is Timothy and Teresa related to the farmer.....
Sadly, driving in NJ (probably other places, too) has made dash cams a necessity for protection from liability in accidents like Tim described. As others have written, at least he's OK.
speaking of anvils is there a story that goes along with the anvil collection you got there or are you and the boys gonna have a completion with glass hammers to see who can break an anvil
Here in Iowa the former Bachelor of the Year, Chris Soules, rear ended a tractor and killed the 66 year old farmer driving it. He then was charged with "hit and run". The case still hasn't come to court and Soules lawyers are fighting the charge. Sadly, the farmer is still deceased, was married, a father of two and grand-father of three, a veteran and well thought of community member. Soules on the other.....meh. I'm thankful that Tim is safe. Machines can be repaired or replaced. People can't.
Might’ve been a combo Tim might’ve been texting when he looked up and said oh shit. Only one way to tell check the cell phone records I tell my guys no phones period while driving our heavy equipment on public roads. I’m glad your ok Tim just gotta be so careful if one of these machines ever went head on with an automobile the outcome is never good
