QUICK UPDATE 5/19/24. OUR POWER WAS JUST RESTORED THIS AFTERNOON 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾PRAISING GOD. We were on Day 4, still praying for those that have lost their homes and lives during this storm.

I used a sheer black fabric like that to make a sheer yoke on a top, with a solid black bodice. It’s great under blazers for work. In my case, the whole top was black, but you could put something else on the bottom, like that vibrant fabric you’re wearing

Indeed we need to blame Sheree! I bought the Nick of Time denim and linen mystery boxes. I got a free box of mystery fabric too. I ordered the 10 pound denim box. In the linen box were 3 yard cuts of linen in 3 colors. I’m set for the summer! and the fall and winter. One of my sewing goals this year is to make my first pair of jeans. In my mystery box I got the same chartreuse lace knit fabric you got!!! I can see it as a caftan or cover up or a dress. I would have liked to get a tricot that would line that chartreuse lace. 😅 Oh well! I am almost finished with my first linen duster project.🎉

Perhaps for the black mesh: It could be used as a sheer underlay in a garment with the back, or midriff out. Ausset made a corset and used a sheer mesh teashirt under the corset. It was remarkably creative.

I jumped on the denim mystery box as soon as I saw Sherre's video. I received the same denim but different free fabric. I want to make a denim ballgown style skirt so bad. I'm not confident in my skills yet though.

What about a mid calf duster out of the lace. I have one and I wear it a lot over sleeveless and short sleeves when you just need a little something. Great group of denim!

I love the denim!!! 💙🩵💙I'm just thinking that the neon lacey fabric could be dyed with synthetic dye, maybe? 🤔I know that's more work but maybe if you really like the texture it could be fun to try. 😊

You have some great pieces of Denim in your box! I can see why you’re good with it! Now for the 15 yds of mystery fabric you received…SMH! I agree with one of your commenters…that’s why I haven’t purchased many mystery boxes, they’re usually filled with fabrics I would never purchase! Then they’ll end up in the pile for muslins! Knowing your style, I have NO IDEA what you could do with any of it, unless you use it as color block pieces for other items you may create or for making muslins. However, that black chiffon is nice! 😆🤣😂. I bet you knew I would say that!!!

How about a swimsuit coverup with the lime fabric and I would make a kimono jacket with the black fabric to wear in the evening. Would be very dressy

This is why I don't get mystery boxes ever: I'm just too particular and feel like, even if the box was really inexpensive, I would be stuck with a bunch of stuff I wouldn't use. Well, hopefully you can resell those fabrics on your website and get your money back?

Hi, not sure if you saw the entire video but I'm VERY happy with my mystery boxes of denim. It's the FREE box of 15yds I'm not pleased with. Since that box was free, I'd rather donate and/or give away😊
