Really very good. Well done everyone, it will be the fourth or fifth time I see it again - listen and the second comment. Greetings from Florence, Italy👋👋👋
Rated among the finest marches ever written for the pipes, 'The 79th's Farewell to Gibraltar' was one of the early quicksteps written for troops on the march. It was composed by Pipe Major John Macdonald of the 79th Cameron Highlanders in June of 1848 when his regiment left Gibraltar for Canada.
NIce tune. Snare drummers played the standard 2-4 massed bands snare beating. I'm trying to master the J. Reid Maxwell snare arrangement for this tune has it's tricky parts but I'm getting there.
Great post; great tune so well rendered. I believe the 79th was The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders. Headquartered in Inverness, Scotland. Now part of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Multicultural 🤔💪take a knee, I don't take knees, because in East belfast we accept all culturala😂😂white black brown, that's what makes us the best, 😍😍😍😍
