7Artisans 60mm f2.8 II vs Pergear 60mm f2.8 MACRO Lens Battle! (For Sony a6000) 

I forgot to mention IN the dang video that I got both of these lenses free from 7Artisans and Pergear. However you guys know, I'm not told or paid to say anything about these lenses. So everything in this video on the lenses is my own opinion. Hope you guys enjoyed this macro lens video! Which one suits you more?

Great video! Even tho i'm definetly into Macro Photography, so I'm the least person who should talk...BUT, I'd go with the 7Artisan: a little bit sharper, easier to carry around (not a feature for a macro lens maybe), better focus ring and with those 60€ bucks less you can buy a couple oh filters to experiment with :)

Hello and greetings from Chile 🇨🇱!! Thank you for your video, very informative. I have the Pergear rebranded as "Brighten Star", really liked it never had a real macro lens before. I saw in another review for this lens that the aperture is mislabeled, acording with your comparison pictures it is the case because the bokeh balls are different in size, the aperture in the pergear is smaller than the label indicates. An idea for a small video could be if you like to establish the real aperture, at f/2.8 they are similar, but from f/4 they are not accurate. Greetings!!

Cool! I didn't know about these lenses. I have a Sony 30mm macro and use it a ton for my cherry shrimp aquarium. It's great to see macro lens reviews since they don't come up too often

Very interesting video! 👍🏾 In my opinion, I think both of them pretty much performs the same to me. They're both pretty decent. 👌🏾👌🏾

I don’t find the non-clicking aperture rings to be a problem cause I always notice if I bumped them in my evf.

The Pergear one looks A LOT like the Laowa 60mm 2X

if you are just getting started the 7artisans will be the best, because it is cheaper and the 1:1 is simpler then the 2:1

I have the 7artisans for MFT and the pergear for my sony. I love em both.

this object does not work for me on the sony a7III, it throws an error that the lens holder is not suitable. do i need any adapter?

I have the mk I 7artisans 60mm 1:1.. My question is basically what are the differences between that and mk ii besides the detachable underwater tube?

with the pergear... I find it's better to take photos at 1.5:1 and then just crop in. The difference in detail makes a huge difference not focusing at 2:1

Is TTArtisans the same as PerGear? Also is & Artisans just TTArtisan under a different name? Reason i ask is i have bought the new TTArtisan vs the &Artisan 60mm macro and now i hear there may be some backlighting issues on the TT and its worth the extra$60 to get the &Artisan bcoz of this
