You're definitely the reviewer on here that has the most similar taste to me when it comes to IEMs. I love these and another of my absolute favourites are the Final A5000. I don't think we're massively aligned in musical tastes either really but clearly look for similar things in IEMs. Keep up the sterling work.
@@donglemadness Andy, Andy, Andy, when O when will you actually READ the comments below your videos, and realize that you are mispronouncing the words "bass" and "timbre", and not block those who correct your poor pronunciation like an impetuous female? You pronounce "bass" as in the FISH. You pronounce "timbre" as in the WOOD. Both mispronunciations have meanings OTHER than those you obviously intend.
I'm still waiting for your review of 7Hz Sonus! :) I find it great for music and gaming. I know it's an old iem, but I think you'll like it. The price to performance is great with the Sonus.
Your review of FiiO FA19 intrigued me. Will you get your hands on FH19 as well? Now that you mentioned Campfire Audio, have you heard Ponderosa or Supermoon (planar)?
Another interesting thing I just saw was Qudelix T71 DAC and T71 IEMs. Apparently, the IEMs use electronic crossover that is built into the DAC and therefore use special cable. The DAC uses 4 ESS chips.
Wish to see you compare the bass head IEMs, a good place to start would be looking at the Fatfreq Scarlet or Maestro Mini or Dunu Davinci , FirAudio Frontier series .
I impulse bought the Five a few weeks ago, and immediately regretted it the day after. When I got it, I was surprised by how much I liked it. Perhaps low expectations got me there. I guess it needs a price reduction, because at this price it's just too much for a niche IEM. The Sonus had to go through a price reduction for people to really appreciate it, and that one was a great all-rounder with a neutral-ish signature, awesome technicals, less niche...so perhaps 100 bucks for the Five will have it receive the recognition it deserves. I don't have other basshead phones for comparison. I have the DaVinci, but that IEM is just in another category, and too good to be categorized as a basshead, as it is suitable for everything, really (so so good).
I was looking forward to the comparison with Dynaquatro. Haven't heard the 5 yet but the Dynaquatro is a nicely balanced set with some bass. Takes a bit of power to reach its full potential. One of the best buys under $300 IMO.
@@AronAddams7I was thinking of getting that, but went with juzear 61t and simgot supermix4 instead. I didn't like the juzear at first, but once I put on feaule h570 tips it became fantastic.
