7mm PRC - Ammo Velocity Testing 

A lot of people are buying 7 PRC rifles and its important to know and understand what you are really going to get for performance from the caliber. And don't get frustrated when you buy a sub MOA rifle but can't get factory ammo to shoot accurately. We have a saying - 1/2 MOA guns with 2 MOA ammo shouldn't reflect on the rifle.
And if you buy a box of ammo, don't trust what it says on the back of the box for ballistics or muzzle velocity... chronograph the ammo yourself. You are about to see why!
The Pendleton Ammo 175 Gr ELD-X ammo (and 175 Gr Nosler ABLR and 180 Gr Berger VLD) is about as good as you can buy without handloading yourself.
