USL = Upper Specification Limit = Upper limit of the given tolerance UCL = Upper Control Limit . It will be calculated based on the observed values using formula (refer our video). If a process is stable, all observed values will fall within LCL & UCL limit. If the process is not stable, any point or points will go out of LCL or UCL and will confirm that one or more special cause is influencing the process.
