The ANC in Gauteng is afraid to give the DA its fair share of seats - they know they will be given a lesson on how to run a Province properly & that would be too humiliating.
A correction!. The IFP, DA, ANC, and NFP combined to get a majority to get more than 50%. The MK got 45% which might have given them the most votes but not enough to form a provincial government. So, to solely blame the DA for what was done in collaboration with others cannot be correct. In Gauteng, the ANC is part of a collective, yet they behave like they are doing everyone else a favour. It's coalition politics. They are not on charge anymore. Smell the coffee!
@reubentrotter4432 The DA is fighting to get more seats proportional to the votes they got, and it was a norm that whoever gets the most votes in a province also gets to govern, up until they ganged up on the MK. Now that the DA is going through the same thing, they want to walk away. It's just hypocritical.
Democracy is not always correct. Because DA is white and therefore if its not going according to what they determine nothing will happen. You very correct that in KZN, the same DA played a different game.
If you don't know the answer to that you don't understand politics. When the DA make an honest stand the ANC always tries to justify arrogantly. The bottom line is if DA can bully the national leadership they will not win that with Gauteng.I know the racist are not happy the fact that Pantaza was elected as premier because he doesn't take nonsense from anybody.I like the combination of the three Lesufu,Maile and Nciza this is leadership with backbone
