Due to a derailment at 96th Street 3 days ago, the following services changes are in effect:

• 242nd Street-96th Street (Trains terminate and originate on the southbound express track at 96th street and northbound trains run express from 96th Street to 137th Street).
• 42nd Street-South Ferry.

• Southbound service runs as normal but makes all local stops in Manhattan.
• Northbound service runs via the 5 from Nevins Street to 149th Street.

• 148th Street-135th Street.
• 42nd Street-New Lots Avenue.
For alternative northbound 7th Av Line service between 42nd Street and 96th Street, use nearby stations on the Central Park West Line or the free M104 bus.
For alternative northbound Lenox Av Line service, use the free M7 bus.
