Yeah there is a way just tap into the cars headlights wire. You can also build your factory lights to look good

I have to switch on my lights but that’s how I have it set up. You can set it up to run the DRL and parking lights with fog lights also.

Nvm I found them. Although they have the chrome ones they done seem to offer the black with clear lens. Guess I’ll just keep shoppin around

Ever Reynoso there is a silver screw behind it it can be adjusted there

You can replace the bulbs and no issues yet

Yeah you have 2 t-taps one is for + and the other -. So find that pos ang neg wire run the wires long side the lights wires and push the metal piece down to create the bond

@@HorsepowerLabs so your using the adjuster on the headlights assembly or just moving the entire assembly up on your own? I'm just asking g cause I'm ordering si.ilar lights and don't want to have to adjust em. Rather they just be aiming the right height out the box.

They gave t-taps but not enough

Horsepower Labs the bulbs ? Or the actual projecter part ? Cuz I was able to adjust the bulb but it didn’t do much justice ... the actual projecter part I wasn’t able to move , it’s built into the frame of the headlight :-(

So does the tint effect the light a lot? I am debating between these and the original headlight assembly with a black housing because I don’t want the light projection to be poor with smoked outer lens tint. Do these come with clear tint? And can I add my own led light bulbs to these instead of halogen?

Manuel Lucero yea it’s clear lens the inside plastic is black so light won’t be affected . And yes you can add LED I believe which I’m doing just waiting to get a good set

I’d say look up the bulbs size for the lights (might be in the item description) and search Led high beams.

@@HorsepowerLabs Hi, I'm a sub, love your videos, quick question: I bought the Akkon version of these assemblies because they were the only one in stock but they come with the same instructions and are likely the same thing. I also have factory HID's and took it to mechanic for installation and showed him your video. He could not figure out how to get the high beams connected at all so now I have no high beams lol, how did you connect those?

@@watchQueenETV thank you I appreciate it. Yes it’s the same thing. Tbh all I did for every light was was tap into each one. So the high beams I think have its own connector just tap into that. Deox i didn’t tap into the ballast. I went to halogen because I am going to LED soon.

@@HorsepowerLabs ahhhh so is it like....you changed the cable kind of? Got rid of the harness for the ballast n what not?

Deox yeah i ditched the ballast and bulbs since the bulb wouldn’t fit in the new housing and the didn’t brighten the road enough. So I want to do led. But you’ll see which kind

@@HorsepowerLabs I see, I guess ill send these back and stick with my hids, but yeah I also plan on switching to leds for the fog and high beams

Deox check the comments here there is someone who who knows of an adapter to make your HID work with them.

It’s for the aftermarket headlights. Like the one I have on. Not the OEM

Im sure someone makes them for 2018 but idk if this brand does

Ms Sheila you can open both lights up and transfer hid wiring into the new ones. Or instead of the connectors tap into the wires like I did.

Plug and play for the Halogen models. If you have HID you need to do some work to make them work

@@dallas3719 if they are yellow it’s halogen. If the lights are a bit blue they are HID
