REf below I may have found out why the pick was sticking, I tried on the first pin and the pick head became stuck between two pins and would not turn in any direction, then with the hand pick I pushed down on the pin and the complete was released, I am using 7 pin locks and the problem might be the pick head is a bit to wide in between some pins but more of a problem when you become between pins 56 or 7, but not all I do not wish to file down the pick head at this stage. HI I have just bought this Lishi style 7x7 pick, I have tried the pick on 3 locks, but have come across a problem, every so often the pick will over turn and get stuck in the lock body, the ;pick body moves back not fully out but the pick will not move it cannot be turned To release the pick I have to take a hand pick and push into the body a few times to try and release the pick. I might have over picked and became stuck in between the pins, what is the cure for this problem, when every thing works it is a very good tool. Thank you Michael
I’ve raked a few garrison & multi lock 7 pin euros with a standard dimple rake & have also bumped them open, I’ve never tried with a city rake though, i don’t see why not if the right method is used.
@@GxAxV Be prepared to be surprised then. Is that a challenge ? Not sure if you’re talking to Paul or me! I can understand your scepticism if you were talking about the city rake.
@@BrettSucks I wouldn’t say it’s not possible as some versions of garrison have no security pins. It’s also possible the bitting could be flat but it’s not very common over 7 pins. The odds of raking it are slim but never 0 😄 using it as a dimple pick with rotation on the other hand I’m sure could work.
